AbstractThe article presents theoretical foundations of a two-diode equivalent model of a photovoltaic cell/module (PV), together with calculation procedures. A physical interpretation of individual components of an equivalent model was presented. Its practical application in predicting efficiency of operation of various PV cells and modules in low insulation conditions was demonstrated. The obtained predictions were verified with the actual results of their operation in open space (outdoor). The practical suitability of the “model” in early detection of ageing phenomena, such as, for example, absorber degradation taking place in PV modules, was demonstrated. The article was prepared on the basis of the results of testing five different PV modules with various constructions, made of different materials and absorbers, such as: c-Si, mc-Si, CIS, a-Si_SJ, a-Si_TJ. The used measurement data were collected during the 16-year period of the experimental PV modules testing system operation in University of Opole, equipped with a data acquisition system.

Abstract The article presents theoretical foundations of application of the reduced I-V Blaesser’s characteristics in predicting a photovoltaic cell/module (PV) efficiency, together with calculation procedures. A detailed analysis of the error of this transformation method of characteristics was carried out. Its practical application in predicting efficiency of operation of various PV cells and modules in medium and high insulation conditions was demonstrated. The practical suitability of the presented method in early detection of ageing phenomena, such as, for example, absorber degradation taking place in PV modules, was demonstrated. The article was prepared on the basis of the results of testing five different PV modules with various constructions, made of different materials and absorbers, such as: c-Si, mc-Si, CIS, a-Si_SJ, a-Si_TJ. In this paper, a novel modelling approach based on characteristic fusion is proposed and used to build a static equivalent model of wind farm. Firstly, the modelling framework based on characteristic fusion is given. Secondly, the basic characteristics of wind farm including characteristic of wind turbine generator (WTG), wind speed spatial distribution and characteristic of wind farm are analyzed according to the framework. Then detailed modelling process is provided utilizing SVR as a fusion tool. This approach combines the advantages of both mechanism and non-mechanism methods with both satisfactory fitting ability and generalization ability. It only requires the maximum and minimum value of wind speed among the wind farm, rather than accurate wake model as mechanism method nor massive measurement data as non-mechanism method. Numerical simulation indicates the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method. When available data is reduced or includes bad measurement, the proposed method can still keep favorable performance.

Abstract Muxindo’s LED bulb is one of the brands that are widely used by Indonesian people as lighting in the home. This study aims to look at the effectiveness of the light spectrum of the 10, 15 and 20 Watt LED power bulbs as an energy source to generate electrical energy in monocrystalline mini photovoltaic (PV) cell module. The light spectrum is compared with and without the Fresnel lens before being transmitted to the PV surface. The test results show that the PV output power is much better with a Fresnel lens (4.06> 1.67) mW. The efficiency of PV with lens displays slightly different figures, 3.77% at 15 Watt bulb power, while without Fresnel lenses, PV efficiency is 4.86% with a 20 Watt bulb. Need further research, for example, with Philips brand LED bulbs

This article presents a novel model for the equivalent circuit of a photovoltaic module. This circuit consists of the following important parameters: a single diode, series resistance (Rs) and parallel resistance (Rp) that can be directly adjusted according to ambient temperature and the irradiance. The single diode in the circuit is directly related to the ideality factor (m), which represents the relationship between the materials and significant structures of PV module such as mono crystalline, multi crystalline and thin film technology.  Especially, the proposed model in this article is to present the simplified model that can calculate the results of I-V curves faster and more accurate than other methods of the previous models. This can show that the proposed models are more suitable for the practical application. In addition, the results of the proposed model are validated by the datasheet, the practical data in the laboratory (indoor test) and the onsite data (outdoor test). This ensures that the less than 0.1% absolute errors of the model can be accepted.

Abstract Data are generated during all human activities related to digital technology. In recent times, scientific research has increasingly opted for digital data as its primary source of data; data definition changes for different disciplines and researchers. In this context, we study the main characteristics of data librarianship as a specialized field of traditional librarianship concerned with data use in libraries. Our work is organized as follows: First, we present a proposed Venn diagram on the theoretical foundations of data librarianship; then, we point out the core skills needed by data librarians. Based on a non-exhaustive literature review, we point out the main topics of research in data librarianship. We describe the significance of research data, data management, data curatorship, and data repositories. Finally, we list a few certification courses in data librarianship. We conclude that data librarianship plays a dynamic role in the practical application of data technologies in libraries, and that professional development, certification, and training in data librarianship are interdisciplinary tasks linked to digital technologies.
