This research concentrates to the effect of changing sand proportion on the physical, mechanical and thermal properties of building wall materials (Cellular lightweight concrete). The density, water absorption and compressive strength of the 7.0 cm x 7.0 cm x 7.0 cm concrete sample were studied. It was found that there are an increase of density and a reduction of water absorption with an increase of sand content. The higher compressive strength can be confirmed by higher density and lower water absorption. The physical and mechanical properties of lightweight concrete conditions conformed to the Thai Industrial Standard 2601-2013. The phases of CaCO3 and calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H) in the material indicate an important factor in thermal insulating performance.

The research in this paper aims to study the physical, mechanical and thermal properties of building wall materials (Cellular lightweight concrete) with various proportions of Portland cement. The research in this paper is separated into two parts, in the first part, the density, water absorption and compressive strength of 7.0 cm x 7.0 cm x 7.0 cm concrete sample was investigated. This study found that the optimal proportion of Portland cement was 15% by weight (this condition showed the highest compressive strength of 3.62 MPa). The physical and mechanical properties of lightweight concrete conformed to the Thai Industrial Standard 2601-2013. In the second step, the thermal properties of the improved lightweight concrete, brick and commercial concrete were compared. It was found that the samples with increasing 15% by weight of Portland cement showed the lowest heat flux that affected to a lower tested room temperature as well.

The building walls which form the major part of the building envelope thermally interact with the changing surrounding environment throughout the day influencing the indoor thermal comfort of the space. This paper aims at assessing in detail the different aspects (thermophysical properties, thickness, exposure to solar heat gain, etc.) of opaque building wall materials affecting the indoor thermal environment and energy efficiency of the buildings in tropical climate (in the summer and winter days) by conducting simplified simulation analysis using the Integrated Environmental Solutions Virtual Environment (IES-VE) program. Besides, the thermal efficiency of a number of selected wall materials with different thermal properties and wall configurations was analysed to determine the most optimal option for the studied climate. This study first developed the conditions for parametric simulation analysis and then addressed selected findings by comparing the thermal responses of the materials to moderate outdoor temperature and energy-saving potential. While energy consumption estimation for a complete operational building is a complex method by which the performance of the wall materials cannot be properly defined, as a result, this simplistic simulation approach can guide the designers to preliminary analyse the different building wall materials in order to select the best thermal efficiency solution.

Association rule mining is to find interesting associations between itemsets in large amounts of data or related links. The new wall materials are mainly concrete, cement or fly ash, coal gangue and other industrial waste and household garbage produced by the non-clay brick, building blocks and building boards and construction techniques, materials, technology, detection means there is no specification limit. This paper presents the using association rule mining to build the building wall materials system. Experimental data sets prove that the proposed algorithm is effective and reasonable.

New building wall materials is a kind of material which is not at the price of consuming cultivated land, destruction of ecology and environmental pollution, adapting to the construction industrialization, construction mechanization, reducing wet construction operations at the site, improving the function of modern building construction. Presently, as for our country stage, new building wall materials is including all building wall materials except for clay solid brick building wall materials. In our country, the production of new type wall materials has been increasing rapidly and its quality and product has been improved obviously, what’s more, the technology and equipment level also rises fast which created very convenient advantages for the development of exterior wall thermal insulation technology. Presently, there are mainly three kinds which are the out-cell heat preservation, a polystyrene board and wall body casting molding at a time and polystyrene particles insulation pulp outer wall heat preservation.
