ABSTRACTHigh temperature annealing of Simox wafers (T > 1300°C), has been proved to dramaticaly increase the quality of the SOI structure. The heat treatment leads to a redistribution of the implanted oxygen, opposite to its concentration profile, towards the buried layer. This paper describes from a thermodynamical point of view the SiO2 precipitates dissolution. The physical mechanisms of the oxygen migration are also discussed.

Intermediate annealing to stainless steel can eliminate the residual stress, and improve plasticity and ductility effectively, but oxidation after different annealing processes has considerable difference. In this research, three annealing processes, low temperature annealing with ordinary heat treatment furnace, high temperature annealing with ordinary heat treatment furnace and high temperature bright annealing, were used to gain insight into the mechanics of intermediate annealing. Specimens of 304 austenitic stainless steel sheets were adopted in the intermediate annealing experiments which pre-deformation was 15%. The specimens’ surface microstructure were observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM), and the specimen oxidation, which happened in the annealing process, were also analyzed. The results show that bright annealing must be adopted in high temperature annealing.

Previous work by our group has demonstrated the potential feasibility of using high-temperature forced-air (HTFA) treatment for insect disinfestation of nectarines. Fruit quality of nine cultivars tested was unaffected following the application of a HTFA treatment targeted against Mediterranean fruit fly. In an extention of this work, we examined the effect of this treatment on peach and nectarine cultivars that have differing reported susceptibilities to the development of mealiness to determine if HTFA treatment has any effect on the occurrence of this disorder. Fruit were exposed to HTFA over 4 h until the fruit center registered a temperature of 47.2 °C, then stored at 5 °C for 1 to 3 weeks and 2 d at 23 °C, at which time the fruit were visually evaluated for symptoms of mealiness. `Summer Bright', `Ryan Sun', and `Elegant Lady', cultivars susceptible to the development of mealiness, showed a 66%, 24%, and 66% increase in the incidence of mealiness, respectively, due to HTFA treatment. `Summer Grand', a cultivar classified as nonsusceptible, did not develop mealiness in the absence of HTFA treatment, while 81% of the HTFA-treated fruit of this cultivar were classified as mealy following 2 weeks of storage. Enhancement of mealiness in stonefruit by heat is a very detrimental effect that must be carefully considered in the development of HTFA treatments for these commodities.

In this movement I utilized all around naturally known as two stages heat treatment called RRA is connected on AL 7075 composite to inspect the corrosion behavior. this procedure incorporates the different phases of warmth medicines incorporates, strengthening, high temperature pre-precipitation, counterfeit maturing (T6), retrogression and re-maturing. The examples are at first aged to 473o and then extinguished in water medium .the examples are additionally aged to 18hr, 22hr, 26hr separately .after this examples are warmed 230o , 250o 270o , 290o with various time interims 7 and 14 min individually to improve the quality of the material this procedure we call it as retrogression and re-aging. After this directed test and came to realize that by utilizing RRA strategy we can expand the quality of the material to most extreme degree. With this RRA methodology we can increase the corrosion resistance of the material to next level.

In the case of shape memory alloys (SMA), a form to which a material is expected to return during its heating can be repeatedly programmed, whereas other related properties also individually adjusted. It was noticed that most producers of commercial assortment based on SMA or traders seldom are willing to lift the veil of secrecy on this topic. In the context of own experimental studies, the authors made reference to technical aspects of some post-treatments of a Ni-Ti alloy with a view to further practical application, e.g. design and construction of machinery and structures with the involvement of SMA. For these purposes, attempts concerning the high-temperature shape setting were carried out using various parameters of heat treatment with no secrecy surrounding the procedures applied. Some of the tested parameters proved effective, whereas some were less useful. Following the activation of the reverse transformation by heating, a somewhat different behaviour was observed, and simultaneously one of the crucial material temperatures was determined. The paper as a whole is reported from a specifically engineering/technical point of view, which is continuously emphasized in the content of the presented article.
