In this article data concerning coherent fluctuation nephelometry (CFN) use in clinical microbiology is presented. CFN-analyzer allows to solve two important problems – fast urine screening for bacteriuria within 2-4 hours and antibiotic susceptibility testing within 3-6 hours. Altogether more than 650 urine samples were tested, and the effectivity of CFN-analyzer for preliminary selection of samples for further analysis was shown. Method allows to detect negative samples, reducing the number of urine analyses by 70-80%. Simultaneous analysis of growth curves and concentration of microorganisms shows high sensitivity and specificity (95.2% и 96.9%). Also more than 250 antibiotic susceptibility tests were performed using CFN-analyzer to show its effectiveness for determination of resistant properties of both pure cultures and urine microflora without isolation of bacteria. The agreement with traditional methods was from 84% to 88%. The use of CFN-analyzer with express methods of identification of microorganisms (chromogenic nutrient broths or mass-spectrometry) allows to make full urine analysis within 1-2 days. In the future CFN-analyzer gives an opportunity to screen different human biological liquids, and finds an application for other microbiological tasks, including standardization and speeding-up in sanitary bacteriology.

The use of express methods for assessing the degree of soil degradation is a global trend. Numerous studies suggest the possibility of using spectrometric methods for determination of chemical compounds content in soil and assessment of soil degradation. In this work, an attempt is made to determine the agrochemical parameters by spectrometric methods for agricultural soils of the subboreal zone of the eastern European Plain. The main types of spectrograms for gray forest soils and leached chernozems were determined and compared with the results of agrochemical analyzes at soil sampling points in the territory of the Chuvash Republic. The main regularities in indicators change depending on spectrometric curves type are analyzed. The results of the work can be claimed for express determination of agricultural soils degradation degree for a given natural zone.

The object of research of the article is the characteristics of mechanical properties of fibrous systems under the bending deformation, and the subject is the method of determination of the resistance to bending. The aim of the work is to develop a new universal method for evaluating the resistance of fibrous materials to bending, including, among other things, the possibility of forming an electronic database on the characteristic properties of materials. To achieve this goal, a set of problems related to the analysis of existing methodological approaches and technical means, the rationale for possible solutions to the problem posed, and the development of a new patentable method for evaluating the materials’ resistance to bending, have been solved in the research. In the course of the project, a study was developed of the required characteristics for textile and leather-fur materials used for the manufacture of garments. The method is based on the use of natural oscillations frequencies of the material as an informative parameter of their resistance to bending. The method belongs to the class of express methods and provides an opportunity to create an electronic database on the properties of materials online. The approbation of the proposed solution by comparing the estimates obtained with the results of studies obtained on the basis of a standardized method (the method of the console), showed sufficient accuracy and the possibility of practical application of the developed method.

One way to improve the properties of soils is their reinforcement by different geosynthetic materials. Difficulty an objective assessment of the effectiveness of the use of geosynthetics in construction is its one of the reasons preventing their wider application. Conducting research aimed at studying the work of geosynthetic materials in the construction of foundations and their interaction with the ground, is a very costly and time consuming practice. The tests of reinforced soil structures for transport construction, which are influenced by dynamic loads are particularly complex. Geosynthetics can significantly improve the deformation characteristics of reinforced soil bases. Therefore, the use of different express methods for determination of deformation characteristics of reinforced soil bases is very important. Method using the dynamic densitometer is a new express methods for determining the deformation characteristics of subgrade. «Meter ground dynamic modulus DPG-1.2» was used as an apparatus for determining the dynamic modulus of elasticity Ed on the ground surface Dynamic modulus of elasticity Ed has a correlation dependence with a coefficient of compaction and static modulus of elasticity Est . One application of geosynthetic material in road construction is their use in the construction of temporary roads. Therefore, the construction of temporary road, representing a layer of sand of various thickness on the reinforcing geosynthetic interlayer modeled in this work. The carcass geogrid KS-16 «Rossomaha» production on JSC ««Krasnokamsk Metal Mesh Works» «and geotextile Geospan TN-50 manufactured by Ltd «HEXA-woven materials» were used as reinforcing geosynthetics. This article presents the results of the determination of the static modulus of elasticity Est and dynamic elasticity modulus Ed soil reinforced by geosynthetic material and soil without reinforcement using DPG-1.2 device. As a result of the experiment shows that the modulus values obtained with the express method of using the device-DPG 1.2 are comparable with the values of data obtained by the laboratory method, the measurement error does not exceed 22 %. For backfill thicknesses h = 50 mm use the carcass geogrid KS-16 can increase Est by 23 % and Ed by 14 % compared with the unreinforced base. Using the geotextile Hexa TN-50 can increase Est by 15.5 % and Ed by 11 % compared with the unreinforced base. Increasing the thickness backfill h up to 100 mm is practically not reduce the effectiveness of the reinforcement carcass geogrid KS-16 «Rosomaha» - static modulus E st is increased by 22 % and dynamic modulus Ed by 14 % compared to the unreinforced base. And for the geotextile Hexa TH-50 at h = 100 mm reinforcement efficiency is greatly reduced - the value Est and Ed only increased by 2.5 % compared with the unreinforced base. This is probably caused by a significantly greater rigidity carcass geogrid KS-16 «Rosomaha» Thus DPG-1.2 device allows accurately measure the deformation characteristics of soil bases. The use of specialized carcass geogrids KS-16 «Rossomaha «more effectively in the construction of temporary roads in comparison with universal geosynthetics Hexa TN-50.

The need to improve the control of meat slaughter animals and poultry in their rigging to develop modern express methods that have credibility in the indicators within and 99,4 to 99.9%, and can be used along with other methods to determine their quality and safety in the manufacturing laboratory facilities for meat processing, slaughtering companies and companies with sales and storage of meat (supermarkets, wholesale warehouses, refrigerators and the like), in the state laboratories of veterinary medicine and in laboratories of veterinary-sanitary examination of agro-industrial markets. Despite the fact that the responsibility for the safety and quality of food of animal origin is entrusted to the manufacturer, the protection of consumer health is always under control of the state. To ensure consumers receive safe and high quality meat need to develop new rapid methods for their adequate control. Especially relevant are the research directions for the development of rapid methods to objectively assess the safety and quality of meat of slaughtered animals and poultry during storage, and the implementation or use for the production of meat products. In stores, supermarkets, wholesale bases, the agricultural markets during the implementation of the meat of slaughtered animals and poultry it is often possible to detect the adulteration of meat for the handling of formalin, chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, acetic acid, potassium permanganate for long-term storage and eliminate the signs of damage. Therefore, we have performed experimental studies and developed rapid methods to identify this type of fraud. Developed rapid methods for the determination of adulteration of meat of slaughter animals and poultry with formalin, chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, acetic acid, potassium permanganate are simple to implement and their results specific quality indicators. Therefore, these rapid methods are available us along with other methods for determining the quality and safety of meat slaughtered animals and poultry (determination of organoleptic, the content of amino-ammoniac nitrogen, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, pH, etc). These methods can be used in determining the safety and quality of meat of slaughtered animals and poultry during storage, and the implementation of laboratories at the facilities of meat processing, supermarkets, wholesale bases, in government veterinary laboratories and laboratories of veterinary-sanitary examination of agro-industrial markets.

It is now possible to determine proper motions of high-velocity objects in such a way as to obtain with some accuracy the velocity vector relevant to the Sun. If a potential field of the Galaxy is assumed, one can compute an actual orbit. A determination of the velocity of the globular clusterωCentauri has recently been completed at Greenwich, and it is found that the orbit is strongly retrograde in the Galaxy. Similar calculations may be made, though with less certainty, in the case of RR Lyrae variable stars.
