We present a case of a 73-year-old male patient with progressive dysphagia, and hoarseness (irritability in the throat). He was studied with the appropriate imaging techniques, and esophagoscopy led to a diagnosis of extrinsic esophageal dysphagia for osteophyte obstruction of the cervical spine due to the arthrosis. A surgical resection was performed, without complications. Some considerations are given on this theme.

Ameloblastoma is a benign odontogenic tumor. It is locally invasive and unlimited growth capacity, with a propensity for recurrence if not entirely excised. The therapeutic challenge in this type of tumors is to have an adequate resection with a wide margin of normal tissue but also a functional and aesthetically acceptable reconstruction of the residual defect. The role of radiotherapy is currently demonstrated in inoperable cases. We are reporting a case of a 45 years-old male patient with large ameloblastoma of the mandible recurrent 10 years after surgical resection. The patient benefited from exclusive radiotherapy at a dose of 60 Gy.

Fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma (FL-HCC) is a rare variant of hepatocellular carcinoma, occurs in young adults. It presents with vague symptoms and diagnosed by imaging and biopsy. The treatment is surgery. We report a case of 15 years old male patient who was diagnosed with (FL-HCC) and treated with surgical resection.

A pharyngeal recess cyst is a benign lesion, located at the nasopharyngeal recess with limited development. Pharyngeal recess cysts rarely occur. This case report describes a young male patient presenting with a foreign body sensation in the pharynx. Electronic nasopharyngoscope examination revealed a large nasopharyngeal cyst, whose root was located in the left pharyngeal recess. Complete surgical resection was performed, and the patient successfully recovered. Pharyngeal recess cysts are rare lesions that can be diagnosed based on imaging and endoscopy findings. It is treated surgically and has a favorable prognosis.

Obturator prostheses are considered to be the preferred choice for the restoration of maxillary defects. Patients with palatal insufficiency, speech and deglutition becomes impaired, thereby requiring prosthodontic rehabilitation. The prosthodontic rehabilitation of patients with acquired defects of the maxilla after surgical resection is the complete responsibility of a maxillofacial prosthodontist. He has to recreate an artificial barrier between the cavities and thus restore the functional capabilities of speech, mastication and swallowing. Palatal obturator is the only substitute which covers the defect and contributes to normal speech production. 42 years old male patient referred from neurology department, working as a teacher, educated up to MSc, premorbidly anxious personality, family history mental illness (first degree relatives), comes from MSES with presenting complaints of difficulty in writing or copying since seven years. Disability progressed and he was unable to write even a few words legibly and could not hold object which leads to anxiety and dependency. When the patient was examined at Neurology OPD, find out that he has normal sensory and motor nerve functions. The present treatment involved the use of Bahaviour therapy. The findings in this case is very encouraging and studies with large sample sizes can be considered for further conclusive evidence on the treatment of writer’s cramp.
