Based on nymphs collected in Espírito Santo and Amazonas, Southeastern and Northern Brazil, two new species of the genus Rivudiva Lugo-Ortiz & McCafferty, 1998 (Ephemeroptera: Baetidae) are described. Rivudiva inma sp. nov. shares several characteristics with R. minantenna Lugo-Ortiz & McCafferty, 1998, but can be distinguished by details of leg setation, such as length and shape of robust setae and presence of setae on trochanter. Rivudiva oonirikoperi sp. nov. is more similar to R. trichobasis Lugo-Ortiz & McCafferty, 1998, but can be separated by the absence of setae on scape and pedicel, shape of distal margin of labrum, and length of maxillary palp. New diagnoses and illustrations are provided for R. minantenna and R. trichobasis, as well as a key to the known nymphs of Rivudiva species.

Two new species of Diplura C. L. Koch 1850 are described from Brazil: Dipluramapinguari sp. n., from the state of Rondônia in southeastern Amazonia, northern Brazil, and Diplurarodrigoi sp. n., known from southeastern and central west regions of Brazil. Diplurarodrigoi sp. n. is morphologically similar to D.lineata (Lucas, 1857), D.sanguinea (F. O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1896), and D.mapinguari sp. n. Comments on diagnostic characters of Diplura are included. The synonymy of D.maculata (Mello-Leitão, 1927) with D.catharinensis (Mello-Leitão, 1923) is corroborated. A classification of color pattern of the dorsum of the abdomen is given.

Of the 69 Neotropical species of Stylogaster, only one record was previously known from Northeastern Brazil (from Bahia state in 1985—S. brasilia Camras & Parrillo). Several specimens from this region housed at the MNRJ collection were studied, mostly from Bahia, Ceará and Pernambuco states. Two new records were obtained: S. macrura Lopes, 1938, previously known from São Paulo state (Southeastern Brazil), and S. souzai Monteiro, 1960, from Amapá and Pará (Northern Brazil). Descriptions of two new species, S. hugoi sp. nov. and  S. planitarsis sp. nov. are presented, as well as that of the previously unknown female of S. souzai. Illustrations and geographic distribution of the species are also provided.

Two new species of the genus Haliplus Latreille, 1802 are described and illustrated: H. fiorentini sp. n. and H. regili sp. n., from Roraima state in northern Brazil, bringing the number of species known from Brazil to 14. The new species can be distinguished based on a series of characteristics, mainly observed in the elytra, prosternal and metaventral process, legs and male genitalia.

AbstractTwo new species of Sciadicleithrum Kritsky, Thatcher and Boeger, 1989 are described from two cichlids from the Araguarí River, State of Amapá, northern Brazil. Sciadicleithrum edgari n. sp. from Satanoperca jurupari (Heckel, 1840) differs from all congeneric species in the morphology (hook-shaped, with middle process and distally bifurcate) of the accessory piece of the male copulatory organ (MCO). Sciadiclethrum araguariensis n. sp. from Crenicichla labrina (Spix and Agassiz, 1831) can be distinguished from all other species by a Y-shaped accessory piece of MCO. In addition to the description of two new species, new host and geographical records of six dactylogyrid monogeneans from cichlid fishes are presented.

Two new species of Cyphoderus Nicolet are described from northern Brazil: C. mucrominimus sp. nov. from Curionópolis, Pará; and C. mucrostrimenus sp. nov. from Parauapebas, Pará. Two new species of Hydroptilidae from Pará, Brazil, are described and illustrated: Costatrichia inaequalis sp. nov. is a distinctive species characterized principally by the lateral processes on tergum IX rounded and each bearing a long dorsal seta. Oxyethira carajas sp. nov. is characterized by the inferior appendages fused, incised mesally, narrowing posterolaterally, and each bearing a stout apical seta and having its ventral process blade-like. New distributional records are given for a species of Neotrichia for which the name is unpublished.

Both male and female of two new species, i.e. Araphura arvedlundi n. sp. and Tanaella kroyeri n. sp. were collected from the continental slope of the Atlantic coast off northern Brazil and are described. Two new species of Regalana DeLong & Freytag, 1975 are described and illustrated: Regalana jamari sp. nov. and Regalana madeira sp. nov., both from State of Rondônia, Northern Brazil. Delongiana gen. nov. is described within Gyponini, based on two new species from Brazil: Delongiana ramosa sp. nov., designated as type-species, from Minas Gerais and Paraná states and Delongiana baiana sp. nov. from Bahia and Rio de Janeiro states. The new genus can be distinguished from other Gyponini genera based on the combination of the following features: crown slightly produced, parallel striated; crown-face transition distinct, thick and striated; male pygofer with an oblique integument thickening near dorsal margin; subgenital plate very narrow and elongated; connective Y-shaped; style elongated with apex foot-shaped; aedeagus with dorsal apodemes strongly developed, shaft cylindrical and curved dorsally, with processes near mid-length and without apical processes. Additionally, new country records are given for Regalana bobbyi and R. dianae and state records to R. sheilae.
