Electricity is a necessity that plays an important role in human life. So that the plan is in the remote region will be held power plants that are environmentally friendly, and also include renewable energy. Pinogu Subdistrict has a dam to be used as a source of Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH). The purpose of this study is to find out how much the potential of water to produce electrical energy in dams that can support electrification in Pinogu Village, Pinogu District, Bone Bolango Regency. The method used in calculating the flow of water in the dam with the floating method and measurement using a stopwatch. Based on the results of measurements at the location of the dam in Pinogu Village, District of Bone Bolango District, it produces water potential with a maximum water discharge of 1.67 m3 / sec, with a waterfall height of 3.57 meters, then the total maximum power obtained is 29.83 KW and can serves 99 homes with a power of 300 Watt each. Keywords - feasibility study, PLTM, Pinogu Village.

As a part of nation worldwide, Indonesia set the target for the renewable energy source. The renewable energy should be 23% of the energy mix generation that mentioned in the RUPTL 2019 -2028. PT. XYZ as the company which have the responsibility regarding the electricity in Indonesia should work hard to find and invest in renewable energy source. In West Sumatra, there is one river that can be potential to create the hydro power plant that expected to generate as much as 296.104.624 kWh. The construction of the hydro power plant itself will be started from the scratch that obviously will cost much money. The company should consider if it is wise to invest in constructing the hydro power plant or not. This research aims to analyze the financial feasibility study of the hydro power plant in West Sumatra, the financial performancef of the project, and find which variable that affect the project greatly. This research performs general environment analysis using PESTEL analysis to identify whether the environment support the project execution or not. The financial feasibility analysis performs using the discounted cashflow method and evaluated using Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP). To identify which variable that affected the financial feasibility of the project, the author use sensitivity analysis and scenario analysis. Furthermore, Monte Carlo simulation also performed in this research to give an information regarding the probability impact of the uncertainty from the selected variable. The calculation result shown that the project is financially feasible with NPV of Rp. 1.832.776.500.481, IRR of 15,77% which is higher than the weighted average cost of capital (WACC), and the payback period for 9,15 years. The financial performance also shown a favourable result with the project’s profitability index of 5,41. Long-term debt interest rate, capacity factor, agreement price, CAPEX need, and inflation rate are the highest five variable that affect the feasibility of the project. According the Monte Carlo simulation result using 1000 iterations, the project has probability of 6,34% in making the project not feasible.

At present the power plant has a high dependence on energy sources such as diesel, natural gas and coal, while its energy source in nature is increasingly scarce, this situation encourages the development of renewable energy, one of which is in micro hydro power plants. This study aims to determine the effect of the width of the work triangle on the highest rpm produced. the fall of water on the pinwheel is set from the position angle of the nozzle 00, 150, 300, 450, 600, 750 and from the angle of the nozzle 00, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 and 400 on the semicircular blade turbine, triangle blade turbine , and fin blade turbines. Semicircular turbine blade, working triangle area produces greater rpm at position of angle nozzle 00 and angle of nozzle 250 with area of work triangle 360,36 cm2, where the position produces 216 rpm at windmill rotation and 1626 rpm at generator rotation. When the nozzle position angle 150 and the nozzle angle 200 with the working triangle area 264.27 cm2, produce 221 rpm at the pinwheel rotation and 1711 rpm at the generator rotation. while at the nozzle position angle of 300 and the angle of the nozzle 100 the area of the triangle works 134.37 cm2 and produces 173 rpm at the spinning wheel and 1307 rpm at the generator rotation. on the triangle blade turbine and fin blade, the working triangle area does not affect the rpm produced.

This paper analyzes the operating efficiency of a hybrid wind–hydro power plant located in El Hierro Island. This plant combines a wind farm (11.48 MW) and a pumped storage power plant (11.32 MW). It was built with the aim of supplying the island demand from renewable energy instead of using existing diesel units. The paper discusses several operational strategies and proposes an efficiency metric. Using 10 min data, the operation of this power plant has been simulated. From these simulations (more than 50,000 for a year), the operating efficiency and the percentage of demand covered from renewable energy is obtained. The difference between the worst and the best strategy is a twofold increase in efficiency. Moreover, the results of the simulations are compared with the system operational history since June 2015 (when the wind–hydro power plant started operation) until 2018. These comparisons show a reasonable agreement between simulations and operational history.

In this paper, a real-life renewable energy-based system is considered and the reliability function of this system is evaluated with the help of Universal Generating Function technique. The renewable energy-based system is considered from the project in Germany where the wind turbine and hydro power plant are combined. The wind turbines are set at the top of the hills and the reservoirs are allowed to filled with river water. This paper presents a renewable energy-based system where the wind turbine and hydro power plant are combined together to produce electricity in bulk. Universal generating function technique is used to obtain the reliability function of the proposed system. Also tail signature, signature, expected cost rate, expected lifetime and Barlow-Proschan Index are estimated.
