The magnetic properties of Ba2FeMoO6 (BFMO) double perovskite are investigated. BFMO samples were prepared by solid state reaction method through compression. Magnetic properties are influenced by electron environments of the Fe3+ and Mo5+ ions within the perovskite structure. BFMO sintered at 800 oC exhibited the largest hysteresis loop at 50 K. In addition, the values of Ms and Mr indicate ferromagnetic behaviour in BFMO ceramics sintered at 800 oC for different times up to 10 hours. Using the Curie-Weiss law fitting to investigate μeff~30μB high spin of Fe and Mo, and negative θ present the antiferromagnetic characteristics of the BFMO sample.

3Y-TZP powder has been successfully synthesized by gel solid-state method. The structural phases of powder particles were analyzed by X-ray diffraction and the morphology was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy. The average size of grains was 230 nm. The sintering behavior, mechanical properties and microstructure of 3Y-TZP ceramics sintered by this powder were investigated. The experiment results showed that the mechanical properties of ceramics were excellent.

In this paper, different sintering temperature used to study the influence of temperature on the structural and thermal properties of zinc oxide (ZnO). On this research, the sample was prepared by solid-state method for zinc oxide (ZnO) at different sintering temperature which was 700°C, 800°C and 900°C. It was observed that the density of bulk ZnO that sintering at 900°C had the higher value of density 5.03 g/cm3. The microhardness of the bulk ZnO had a higher measurement 397.3 Hv after sintered at 900°C. ZnO that sintering at 900°C had been observed that had thermal conductivity 1.1611W/cm-K in the sintering temperature range 700°C to 900°C.

In this paper a ferroelectric–ferromagnetic composites based on a doped PZT-type and ferrite powders were presented. Ferroelectric powder (in amount of 85.0 wt-%) was based on multicomponent PZT-type materials: i) Pb(Zr0.51Ti0.49)O3+0.2%at.Bi2O3+0.03%at.Nb2O5+ 0.06%at.MnO2, ii) Pb0.84Ba0.16(Zr0.54Ti0.46)O3+1.0%at.Nb2O5, while nickel–zinc ferrite Ni0.64Zn0.36Fe2O4 (in amount of 15.0 wt-%) served as the magnetic component of the composite samples. The synthesis of the ferroelectric–ferromagnetic composite’s powders was performed by solid state method, while final densification of the synthesized powders was achieved using free sintering method.Conducted basic tests indicate that obtained ferroelectromagnetic ceramic composites (PZT-ferrite type) exhibit good properties giving the possibility to use them to construct magnetoelectric transducers.
