A case study of the tools used by an analyst of the economic aspects of the operation of the water supply network has been undertaken in this paper. All issues discussed here are formulated by using degenerated linear programming models ( PL ). Below, it is noted that the linear dependence of binding constraints ( CO ) distorts standard postoptimization procedures in PL. This observed fact makes postoptimization analysis mostly unhelpful for an average analyst due to problems with the int erpretation of ambiguous sensitivity reports which are obtained from popular computer packages. In standard postoptimization methods, changes to single parameters of the right-hand vector CO are analyzed or referred to parametric linear programming that unfortunately requires prior knowledge of mathematically and economically justified vectors of changes of right-hand sides CO. Therefore, it is suggested that modifications are introduced to some of the postoptimization procedures in this work. For issues in the field of hydrology, the following were presented: interpretation and methods of generating justified vectors of changes of right-hand sides of limiting conditions. And so, the procedure of generating infinitely many solutions of the dual issue based on certain vectors orthogonal to the vector of right-hand sides of constraint conditions was demonstrated. Furthermore, the same orthogonal vectors were used to obtain nodal solutions of the dua0l model and the corresponding vectors of changes of the entire right-hand sides of the constraint conditions. Then, managerial interpretation was applied to this way of proceeding. The methods presented in the work serve to improve the functioning of the system of water supply.

Collaborative planning is increasingly common in the context of natural resource management in the United States. However, there is no universal way to organize collaborative groups, and, subsequently, collaborative structures vary from collaborative group to collaborative group. In order to contribute to the growing knowledge base about the implications of different collaborative structures, we conducted a case study of the Tapash Sustainable Forestry Collaborative, a group located in Washington State that is focused on forest restoration. By analyzing interviews and archival data, we documented the organizational structure of the collaborative group and explored the outcomes of that structure in terms of trust and relationship. We illustrate how the structure of the Tapash Sustainable Forestry Collaborative led to both positive and negative outcomes and additionally describe the steps the group took to address the negative outcomes. Our findings will be useful for anyone considering how to structure their own collaborative group. It can also serve to as an example for scholars interested in the characteristics that support successful collaborative natural resource planning and management. Additionally, the case study provides readers with a background information about several content areas including public participation in forest plan and management, national-level legislation related to forest planning and management, trust and trust repair, adaptive governance, and adaptive management.

Shift to The Front II Komplek Sukamukti Banjaran Project is one of the projects implemented by one of the companies engaged in telecommunications. In its implementation, each project including Shift to The Front II Komplek Sukamukti Banjaran has a time limit specified in the contract. Project scheduling is an important role in predicting both the cost and time in a project. Every project should be able to complete the project before or just in the time specified in the contract. Delay in a project can be anticipated by accelerating the duration of completion by using the crashing method with the application of linear programming. Linear programming will help iteration in the calculation of crashing because if linear programming not used, iteration will be repeated. The objective function in this scheduling is to minimize the cost. This study aims to find a trade-off between the costs and the minimum time expected to complete this project. The acceleration of the duration of this study was carried out using the addition of 4 hours of overtime work, 3 hours of overtime work, 2 hours of overtime work, and 1 hour of overtime work. The normal time for this project is 35 days with a service fee of Rp. 52,335,690. From the results of the crashing analysis, the alternative chosen is to add 1 hour of overtime to 34 days with a total service cost of Rp. 52,375,492. This acceleration will affect the entire project because there are 33 different locations worked on Shift to The Front II and if all these locations can be accelerated then the duration of completion of the entire project will be effective
