To realize rapid detection and evaluation of environmental-related information of the outdoor environment, this paper presents a portable environmental information detection system based on multi-sensor integration, wireless communication technology and virtual instrument technology. It can realize real-time detecting and evaluating parameters of air, acoustic, water and soil. Meanwhile, it is also able to record the longitude and latitude value, map and pictures of the location that data acquired. Moreover, modular structure design is adopted in the system, so the data processing modular can be applied in other evaluation systems as an analysis tool. Also, new function modules can also be added in the system to meet the needs of more features.

Vehicle exhaust composition contains running state information of the vehicle. Real-time detecting emissions ingredients of the vehicle can realize engine fault diagnosis. Based on the engine exhaust emission abnormal reason analysis, the design scheme of the hardware and software of the system was established. By using the neural network and virtual instrument technology, the software of the engine fault detection system based on emissions was developed. This system is not only to test the gas concentration that contained in automobile exhaust such as CO, HC, CO2, NOx, O2 in different working condition, but also to diagnosis the working performance and working state of the engine.

Aiming at the intelligent integrated detection System for test and measurement of many different missiles, utilizing the data acquisition technology, virtual instrument technology and signal analysis technology synthetically, in this paper, we introduced the system architecture and accomplished the hardware design and software implementation. Practical applications of the prototype system have proven that this intelligent integrated detection system has more powerful functions, better interaction and more convenient operation than the traditional automatic test system(ATS), it have met the needs of test and measurement of several different missiles

This paper introduces the liquid level detecting system, using the laser displacement sensor to realize automatic measurement, using LabVIEW virtual instrument technology to data collection technology, network communication and database management technology are integrated in one system, has simple structure and design, strong universality, expanding the convenience and high efficiency of data transmission. Can be applied to different testing apparatus, the data acquisition system has good universality, is easy to embed other application testing system.

In order to test the performance of the two-wire flowmeter, the detection system based on virtual instrument technology is designed in this paper. This system mainly consists of four parts: master control unit, flow rate signal measurement unite, standard instrument and Measured instrument.The master control unit of the detection system is PC. With the communication protocol of MODBUS, PC control the detection device to synchronous sample the standard flow meter and the measured flow meter, and output 4 ~ 20mA current signal. The test analysis software is developed in LabWindows/CVI programming environment to achieve the test data automatically generated. Practice has proved that the system operation is simple, fast, and efficiency.

Contrary to the problem that automobile switches have various kinds and large differences in the structure and performance so that traditional testing methods have been unable to meet the testing requirements of high performance switches, the paper designs a new detection system used to detect the functions of general auto switches which applies the developing environment LabVIEW based on virtual instrument technology and adopts the technology of embedded observe and control system. Using PC as the host computer, the system adopts the LabVIEW8.5 to compile a real-time monitoring system with good human-computer interface; S3C2440-ARM9 processor is used as the main controller of observe and control system in the inferior computer which collects output current signal when the circuit is conducted after switch is pressed. After the coding process of LwIP software protocol and the drive of Ethernet controller DM9000, the signal is transmitted to PC through Ethernet interface. Compared with conventional testing measures, this system greatly improves the real-time performance as well as working efficiency of detecting switch functions and reduces the corresponding human and material resources.

Accurate detection of the direction of hydraulic fracturing cracks in the oil field is one of the crucial factors in rational exploitation of the remaining oil and enhanced oil recovery. In this paper, using the potential and the potential gradient test methods and virtual instrument technology, we design and develop an intelligent borehole-surface electrical method multi-parameters detection system (BEMDS), which can achieve multi-channel, multi-parameter and high-precision borehole-surface electrical method data acquisition. Joint programming technology of Labview and Matlab gains the simultaneously measurement of the parameters of resistivity and induced polarization. As a result, the drawbacks of the original instrument that measuring single parameters and cannot mutually authenticate has been overcome.

The system can individually and comprehensively and quickly check the performance of the equipment for automatic diagnosis, greatly improving the technical support capabilities of the equipment. Functionally, it can be easily expanded and upgraded, with a high value of promotion and application prospects.
