The purpose of this research is to test the influence of work and personal balance, servant leadership, the reward of employee engagement with job satisfaction variables as mediators. The type of research used is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The research hypothesis is a theoretical model consisting of the influence of work-life balance, servant leadership, and reward with mediator job satisfaction that can be used to predict and explain the emee engagement (FIT) with empirical data. The research respondent is the employee of Bank X in Bandung as much as 205 employees while the method of measuring data using a work-life balance scale, servant leadership and reward as an exogenous with a mediator job satisfaction to the employee engagement as endogenous with RMSEA 0.049. Data analysis using structural equation model (SEM) by using linear structural model (LISREL) version 8.72. Hypothesis testing structural relations included 5 variables fit, has the meaning the model matched (FIT) with field data. Hypothesis testing the structural relationship variables of the work-life balance, servant leadership, and reward simultaneously were able to describe the KK variable by 0.80 or 80%, while the relationship of job satisfaction against employee engagement 0.42 or 42%. The model accepted and the statement about the relationship of a variety of variables used is valid as a construct and can be inferred as the structural relationship.

The research focused on relationship between flexible working arrangements, work-life balance and job satisfaction in Karachi’s public universities. To investigate the null hypothesis that there is no relationship between these variables. Research design is descriptive as we determine the association between dependent and independent variables. Independent variable is flexible working arrangements which include: flexi-time, contractual working, work shifts and telecommuting, that are provided to employees to improve their productivity and maintain work-life balance. A structured questionnaire is designed to collect approximately 200-sample size via online and by university visits. Survey forms were distributed using random sampling method among more than nine different public universities of Karachi. The research is quantitative in nature and analyzed through CFA and SEM, using smart PLS. Findings show that flexible arrangements are significantly correlated with work-life balance. It also revealed that work-life balance is a strong mediator between flexible arrangements and job satisfaction. Importance of flexible arrangements within an organization is highlighted in the recommendations to improve employees’ satisfaction, their performance, work to family enrichment hence to increase productivity. Research included both quantitative and qualitative data and examined the relationship of flexible arrangements, work-life balance and job satisfaction from the view point of public universities.

Purpose: Studies time and again ascribe increased attrition in the nursing profession to poor organizational support and issues of work-life balance resulting in higher levels of job dissatisfaction among nurses. Considering this background, we conceptualized a model (POS-WLB-JS) anchored on organizational support theory and examined the mediating influence of work- life balance in the relationship of perceived organizational support and job satisfaction for female nurses in the Indian healthcare ecosystem. Methodology: Convenience sampling techniques were used to collect data from 250 female nurses from 40 hospitals in Mumbai. Hierarchical regression analysis techniques were used to test the hypotheses. In addition, Sobel test for indirect effects was used to assess the mediating influence of work -life balance in the conceptual model. Findings: Perceived organizational support, work- life balance, and job satisfaction have a significant and positive relationship among them. In addition, work- life balance mediates the relationship of perceived organizational support and job satisfaction for female nurses in the Indian nursing context. Practical Implications: The study will be beneficial to healthcare administrators, doctors, and practitioners who play a pivotal role in the delivery of healthcare services through nurses. It explores the process of job satisfaction through work-life balance and organizational support. Originality: The study makes a distinction between specific support for work- life measures and distal support that exists for nurses in hospitals. It was found that the latter as measured by the perceived organizational support scale has a significant and positive relationship with job satisfaction and work- life balance.

Findings: - Results suggested that satisfaction with work-life balance was positively related to job satisfaction and religiosity fostered the effect of satisfaction with work-life balance on job satisfaction. Practical Implications:- The findings of this study suggest that religiosity holds relevance to a variety of work outcomes.
