Abstrak[English]: The research focused on the role of the taklim assembly on the development of Bergama awareness in the community of Bara Subdistrict, with the aim of: to understand the background established by the taklim assembly in Bara Subdistrict, and to understand the activities of the taklim assembly in Bara Subdistrict, understand the role of the taklim assembly in increasing religious awareness, understand the methods the method used in the activities of the majelis taklim. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, which describes the phenomena found in the research field. In collecting data researchers used techniques; observation, interview, documentation. As for data management techniques and data analysis, researchers use; data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that; majelis taklim was established in Bara Subdistrict because there are still many Muslims who still do not understand the teachings of Islam properly, majelis taklim is also active in carrying out religious activities and community activities. The researcher also found a significant role for the majelis taklim, because it could change the behavior of the members of the majelis taklim in the direction of the teachings of Islam. Abstrak[Indonesia]: Penelitian difokuskan pada peranan majelis taklim terhadap pengembangan kesadaran Bergama masyarakat Kecamatan Bara, dengan tujuan: (1) untuk memahami  latarbelakang didirikan majelis taklim di Kecamatan Bara; (2) untuk memahami kegiatan-kegiatan majelis taklim di Kecamatan Bara; (3) untuk memahami peranan majelis taklim dalam meningkatkan kesadaran beragama, (4) untuk memahami metode-metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan majelis taklim. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu mendeskripsikan fenomena-fenomena yang ditemukan dalam lapangan penelitian. Dalam mengumpulkan data peneliti menggunakan teknik; observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Adapun teknik pengelolaan data dan analisis data, peneliti menggunakan; reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; majelis taklim didirikan di Kecamatan Bara karena masih banyak umat Islam yang masih kurang memahami ajaran Islam dengan baik, majelis taklim juga aktif melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan dan kegiatan kemasyarakatan. Peneliti juga menemukan peranan majelis taklim yang signifikan, karena dapat merubah perilaku anggota-anggota majelis taklim ke arah sesuai dengan tuntunan ajaran Islam.

The article is a monitoring of the main events concerning the Muslim community of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2020 based on content analysis of text materials from government reports, press releases, websites and social media pages of Islamic organizations. The pandemic that began at the end of 2019 and the lockdown introduced in Russia demanded that Islamic communities adapt to new conditions. The danger of the spread of COVID-19 has reduced the internal confl ict in the Islamic environment and the public’s attention to the problems of radicalism. The drop in mosques attendance was off set by the development and use of digital resources in religious activities. At the same time, limited contacts, reduced offl ine events and meetings contributed to strengthening the new course of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Bashkortostan towards decentralization and regionalisation. The activities of the Central Spiritual Administration of Russia, located in Ufa, remained without change on a national scale.

For modern people, ghost stories are no more than thrilling entertainment. For those living in antiquity, ghosts were far more serious beings, as they could affect the life and death of people and cause endless fear and anxiety. How did ancient societies imagine what ghosts looked like, what they could do, and how people could deal with them? From the vantage point of modernity, what can we learn about an obscure, but no less important aspect of an ancient culture? In this volume, Mu-chou Poo explores the ghosts of ancient China, the ideas that they nurtured, and their role in its culture. His study provides fascinating insights into the interaction between the idea of ghosts and religious activities, literary imagination, and social life devoted to them. Comparing Chinese ghosts with those of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Rome, Poo also offers a wider perspective on the role of ghosts in human history.

The article examines confessional politics in one of the most diffi cult periods for religious organizations that are the 20–30s of the XX century. At this time, active anti-religious work was carried out, so there were created some special organizations supposed to get rid of any manifestations of religious consciousness among the Soviet citizens. All the diversity of this policy is discussed on the example of the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. The policy that revealed the relation to the Orthodox and Muslim populations and took into account the national specifi cs of the region varied from relatively loyal attitude towards religious organizations in the 1920s to the events of the Great Terror of 1937–1938. The Crimean ASSR was multi-confessional. The authorities faced the need to compromise between the fi ght against religion and the desire not to aggravate confl icts with national minorities. The anti-religious policy was not supposed to confl ict with the policy of indigenousization. Throughout the pre-war twenty years, anti-religious work in the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was not fully implemented and was poorly organized. The slowdown in the implementation of the anti-religious line was caused by both unsuccessful selections of the personnel and insuffi cient funding of the anti-religious activities carried out.

Does low maternal social capital increase the likelihood of parents using harsh parenting behaviors? We analyzed random digit dial telephone survey data from 661 female primary caregivers across Colorado. Positive reports of the use of either physically or psychologically harsh parenting methods were classified as harsh parenting. Absence of social capital was assessed within the family and the community; lack of social capital within the family was measured in terms of an absence of support from a partner and an additional caregiver. Absence of social capital within the community was measured as lack of interpersonal resources from neighbors and religious activities. Nearly 30% admitted to one or more physically harsh parenting behaviors in the prior year, and 85.8% reported at least one psychologically harsh parenting behavior. Lower levels of neighborhood connectedness were associated with physically harsh parenting (odds ratio = 1.50). Conflict between partners (odd ratio = 2.50) and the absence of an additional caregiver (odds ratio = 1.88) increased psychologically harsh parenting. One practical implication is that mental health and medical providers should help new parents value, access, or develop social networks within the community to prevent children from experiencing harsh parenting.

The demographical changes during the last decades have created a sit­uation where Sweden has become one of the most secular and one of the most multireligious countries at the same time. This situation stands in stark contrast to the country's modern history in which its population have been largely homogeneous, and its religious landscape almost completely dominated by state-church Lutheranism. The growth of Sweden's Muslim population is what has caused most debate. According to calculations made by the Pew Research Center, one fifth of the country's total population is likely to be Muslim by 2050. This change also has consequences for the former state church, which now finds that also Muslims take part in its activities. In this article we present and analyze a novel survey-investigation on Muslims who self-identify as members of the Church of Sweden. In our analysis we differentiate between Muslims and what we call post-Muslims. While the former of these categories refers to those who self-identify as Muslims, the latter refers to people who do not refer to themselves as Muslims but who come from a Muslim family. These categories are mirrored by the Christians and post-Christians, who are selected by equivalent criteria. We conclude that most Muslims and post-Muslims have no affiliation to organized religious communities in Sweden and that among those who do, Christian churches are as important as the Muslim congregations. Among the churches, the Church of Sweden is the one in which most Muslims and post-Muslims are members. The Muslim and post-Muslim members of this church, we find, differ from each other. The Muslims are mostly Swedish-born 50–65-year-old women. They do not take part in any religious activities, and they celebrate Christian, but not Muslim, holidays. In terms of beliefs, they believe in a life after death, but mostly not in God or hell. The post-Muslims are mostly 30–49-year-old men who have come relatively recently to Sweden from the Middle East. They take part in congregational activities and celebrate both Muslim and Christian holidays. They also largely believe in God, a life after death, and hell. In terms of representation, they feel represented, primarily, by Muslim communities.

The research was carried out in Dapil II (Central Ilir, Tebo Ilir and Tabir). This location was chosen purposively, that is, on purpose. Considering that H. Syamsuri AL is a member of the legislature in the Dapil II region where in the 2014 Election H. Sayamsuri AL failed to occupy a legislative seat because he lost votes to other candidates and in the 2019 Election in the same Dapil region H. Syamsuri AL won votes from other candidates so that he became one of the elected candidates and occupied the legislative seat of Tebo Regency. This research was conducted from June 2021 to August 2021. To obtain the data needed in this study used various techniques, namely Interview, Observation and Documentation. The types of data that will be used in the study are primary data and secondary data. Data that has been collected, processed and used qualitative research and domain analysis to obtain a general and comprehensive picture of the object by explaining analysis techniques during the field, and carried out interactively through the process of data reduction, data display and verification. The results showed that the political strategy of H. Syamsuri AL in the 2014 election was an enterprise strategy without a personal door to door approach and H. Syamsuri AL's political strategy in the 2019 election was also to use an enterprise strategy with a personal door to door approach and also carry out religious activities and social activities. . The factors that caused the defeat of H. Syamsuri Al in the 2014 Election were the presence of political opponents who were incumbent for 2 periods from the same supporting party, the formulation of uncertain targets, communication with the success team and unclear strategy control, the absence of target groups, key instruments and witnesses at the polling stations. The factor that caused H. Syamsuri Al's victory in the 2019 Election was that H. Syamsuri Al used a large number of successful teams, a personal door to door approach, carried out religious activities and social activities, as chairman of the PAN party and target groups, implemented clear concepts.

As the construction industry grows, it produces large volumes of construction waste, which has a tremendous environmental impact and generates public concern in the neighbouring towns. The construction industry generates a significant volume of waste and faces a challenge with poor construction waste minimisation in order to prevent adverse environmental and dumping impacts worldwide. In developing countries, regional waste management systems have increased problems. Environmental pollution (air, water, and soil) and human health issues are caused by waste produced in a country as a result of different cultural, social, and religious activities. Prior studies were reviewed to choose dimensions and items for the data gathering instrument. A pilot test was conducted to identify potential questionnaire adjustments, and hypotheses were tested using structural equation modelling (SEM). A total of 220 Malaysian construction professionals answered the survey, which yielded the results. Five hypotheses have direct correlations based on the findings, three of which have a significant effect. Furthermore, the findings reveal that policy-related factors mediate the relationship between improving factors and sustainable construction waste minimisation. In contrast, they did not mediate the relationship between current practices/generation and sustainable construction waste management. The established framework can help improve construction waste management and help achieve global sustainable development goals. The data reveal that adopting preventive plans to reduce construction waste is one of the most important aspects of enhancing profitability. This study could aid construction industry players in evaluating waste management components during the construction and design stages of a building project.

This service aims to increase women's awareness and capacity in managing the function of an economy-based mosque through Zakat, Infak, Shodaqoh, and Waqf (Ziswaf) funds. This departs from the fact in the community around the assisted mosque that in every majlis of women-based religious activities there is an economic sector that is built and developed with a savings and loan cooperative system. especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, the community's need for social institutions like this is very high, this can be seen from the number of borrowers at one of the women's ta'lim majlis which has increased sharply. Therefore, it is important to help increase their role and capacity, in the process of social change and improving people's welfare. Thus, institutionally mosques and mosque congregations as a community of the nation-state can contribute optimally in the national development process. The ability to master mosque empowerment strategies by developing zakat, infaq, shadaqah, and waqaf (ZISWAF) instruments is important to be mastered by mosque welfare officials and women driving economic activity in majlis ta'lim. The method applied in this program is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) which prioritizes critical dialogue using object/community-based disclosure, to obtain a real perspective in the minds of the target object and at the same time fulfil the paradigmatic alignment as mentioned above. The approach taken in this program is a social entrepreneurship approach, which combines increasing the value of resources economically and streamlining social goals and missions. This approach aims to improve social aspects, as well as implement strategies that are integrated between social and economic aspects.

AbstrakPengenalan budaya lokal sebagai media pengajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar dapat membangkitkan keinginan dan minat, membangkitkan motivasi dan rangsangan kegiatan belajar, bahkan membawa pengaruh-pengaruh psikologis bagi pemelajarnya. Media pembelajaran yang menyangkut budaya pada bahasa yang dipelajari juga dapat membantu peserta didik meningkatkan pemahaman, menyajikan data dengan menarik dan terpercaya, serta memudahkan penafsiran dan memadatkan informasi, seperti yang ada dalam budaya Bali yang dapat diaplikasikan dalam pengajaran BIPA untuk Tingkat Pemula. Dengan menerapkan metode studi pustaka yang berlandaskan pada beberapa sumber dan pengetahuan penulis tentang budaya Bali, tulisan ini dapat dipaparkan dengan metode naturalistik karena hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan masalah budaya dilakukan pada kondisi alamiah (natural setting). Hasil yang diperoleh, yaitu budaya Bali sebagai media pembelajaran BIPA untuk pemelajar Tingkat Pemula, khususnya bagi pemelajar yang sedang belajar di Bali sangat menarik untuk disampaikan sebagai media penunjang pembelajaran utama dan sebagai motivasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memahami materi yang sedang dipelajari oleh pemelajar. Pengenalan etika berbicara dalam bentuk sapaan, mengucapkan salam dengan gestur yang tepat, dan mengungkapkan hal-hal yang terkait dengan aktivitas adat dan keagamaan yang masih sangat kental dalam budaya Bali sangat perlu dan menarik untuk diketahui oleh pemelajar. Selain itu, gagasan ini dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan dalam menyusun bahan ajar atau bahan penunjang pengajaran BIPA untuk Tingkat Pemula selanjutnya, khususnya bagi lembaga BIPA yang ada di Provinsi Bali.Kata kunci: BIPA, budaya Bali, media, motivasiAbstractThe introduction of local culture as arouse teaching medium in the teaching-learning process can arouse desire and interest, evoke motivation and stimulation of learning activities, and even bring psychological influences to the learners. Learning media related to the culture where a language is learned can also help students to increase understanding, present data attractively and reliably, facilitate interpretation and condense information is available in Balinese culture that can be applied in teaching BIPA for Beginner Level. By applying the literature study method which is based on several sources and the author’s knowledge about Balinese culture, this paper can be presented with naturalistic methods because matters relating to cultural issues are carried out in natural settings. The results obtained that the Balinese culture as BIPA learning media for Beginner Level students, especially for students who are studying in Bali is very interesting to be conveyed as a primary learning support medium and as a motivation to improve the ability to understand what is being learned by students. The introduction of ethics speaks in the form of greetings, says greetings with appropriate gestures, and expresses matters related to traditional and religious activities that are still very thick in Balinese culture. In addition, this idea can be taken into consideration in preparing teaching materials or supporting materials for BIPA teaching for the next Beginner Level, especially for BIPA institutions in the Province of BaliKeywords: BIPA, Balinesse culture, supporting materials, motivation
