Background: Today, one of the most important concerns in the pharmaceutical industry is achieving sustainability, and the pharmaceutical industry is recognized as a leading sector in corporate sustainability reporting. The purpose of this study was to identify, extract, prioritize and analyze the social factors and corporate characteristics which are effective in the sustainability reporting of Iranian pharmaceutical companies. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study conducted in autumn 2020. The expertise and availability principles were used for sampling, and the snowball sampling method was used for sample selection. In order to identify and extract effective social factors and corporate characteristics, the method of content analysis and the study's review of literature have been used. The survey was conducted on 40 experts in the field of research using a researcher-made questionnaire. In order to purify the effective factors, Delphi method and the Analytic Network Process method based on Fuzzy DEMATEL were used. Results: In terms of a strong interaction, the criterion for university-industry collaborations came first, and the criterion for sustainable innovation and cooperation with other companies came next. In this study, profitability, research and development intensity and the financial leverage were considered to be weak causal variables and sustainability reporting, an effect variable. Conclusion: The results showed that Iranian pharmaceutical companies, in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development, should emphasize the continuous and regular presentation of annual sustainability reporting, and in this regard, key factors such as the criteria of university-industry collaborations, sustainable innovation and cooperation with other companies should be considered critical priorities.

New product development selection is a complex decision-making process. To uphold their competence in competitive business environments, enterprises are required to continuously introduce novel products into markets. This paper presents a fuzzy analytic network process (FANP) for solving the product development selection problem. The fuzzy set theory is adopted to represent ambiguities and vagueness involved in each expert’s judgment. In the proposed model, the fuzzy Kano method and fuzzy DEMATEL are employed to filter criteria and establish interactions among the criteria, whereas the SAM is applied to aggregate experts’ opinions. Unlike the commonly used top-down relation-structuring approach, the proposed FANP first identifies the interdependence among the criteria and then the identified relationships are mapped to the clusters. This approach is more realistic, since the inner and outer relationships between criteria are simultaneously considered to establish the relationships among clusters. The proposed model is illustrated through a real life example, with a comparative analysis using modified TOPSIS and gray relation analysis in the synthesizing phase. The concluded results were approved by the case company. The proposed methodology not only is useful in the case study, but also can be generally applied in other similar decision situations.

The use of new, digitally enabled innovations, such as building information modeling (BIM), raises issues such as the delineation of a competent leader. Even though BIM-based competency assessment models have become essential tools for maximizing the potential values of BIM implementation, the current competency models provide limited focus on leadership aspects that facilitate and enhance the BIM implementation efforts. This paper seeks to identify the specific competencies required for BIM implementation and examines the relationships between these competencies. Thirty-two experts from around the globe investigated a total of 15 leadership competencies under three categories pertaining to intellectual, managerial, and emotional leadership. Fuzzy Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) was implemented to examine the cause-and-effect relationships among the BIM leadership competencies and fuzzy analytic network process (ANP) was performed to weigh those competencies. Findings show that the intellectual competencies act as the cause group, while managerial and emotional competencies are the effect groups. Moreover, the involving leadership is found to be the more suitable leadership style for BIM professionals, given the current capability and maturity levels of BIM implementation, in order to deal with the required changes throughout the BIM implementation process. This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge in the BIM domain to examine the associated leadership competencies by using the multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) technique. The results of this research show the relative importance of criteria and sub-criteria, which contributes to further improvement of BIM leadership.

Selecting the best managers from several proposed alternatives is a key factor in project success. The act of selecting administer is a multi-indicatory issue which includes qualitative and quantitative criteria that might be in contradiction or even might be vague. Therefore, complexity and importance of the problem requires using of analytical procedures rather than intuitive decisions. In the current article, first, the managerial competency criteria has been identified based on the library studies and surveys of specialists in the community. A Fuzzy DEMATEL method has been used for the sake of prioritizing the evaluation criteria and also for the relationship between effective criteria on the choice of superior managers of the project, afterward Analytic Network Process was applied for determining the weight criteria. In the end, a fuzzy multi-criteria model was designed, and through using metology, fuzzy sets and fuzzy VIKOR techniques, management substitution candidates have been prioritized.

Nowadays, it is obvious that creative tourism industry has become very essential for countries and societies; therefore, governments work on constituting policies in order to develop this industry. To be successful in improving creative tourism industry, governments should identify the influential factors and focus on ones that are more important rather than investing a bit on many different factors. Because of the interrelations among factors, this research is aiming to prioritize factors that influence strategic policies of creative tourism industry in Iran using analytic network process (ANP). Data were collected during the period of May 2017 to February 2018. Participants in this research are 13 tourism experts with more than 10 years' experience in the field. Results show that the most influential criterion is "business support" and the most influential subcriterion is "supporting midsize businesses." This study helps policy makers to improve creative tourism by emphasizing on those factors that have high priority from the viewpoint of strategic policy-making.

This paper presents a strategic roadmap to handle the issue of resource allocation among the green supply chain management (GSCM) practices. This complex issue for supply chain stakeholders highlights the need for the application of supply chain finance (SCF). This paper proposes the five Vs of big data (value, volume, velocity, variety, and veracity) as a platform for determining the role of GSCM practices in improving SCF implementation. The fuzzy analytic network process (ANP) was employed to prioritize the five Vs by their roles in SCF. The fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) was then applied to evaluate GSCM practices on the basis of the five Vs. In addition, interpretive structural modeling (ISM) was used to visualize the optimum implementation of the GSCM practices. The outcome is a hybrid self-assessment model that measures the environmental maturity of SCF by the coherent application of three multicriteria decision-making techniques. The development of the Basic Readiness Index (BRI), Relative Readiness Index (RRI), and Strategic Matrix Tool (SMT) creates the potential for further improvements through the integration of the RRI scores and ISM results. This hybrid model presents a practical tool for decision-makers.
