Purpose: The objective of the current study is to inspect how risk affects the success of supply chain integration, following the SCI concept and implementing integration framework, together with its relational view. The prime objective of the current study is to investigate the relationship between supply chain integration, supply chain risk practices and supply chain performance Methodology: Integrating operations of supply chain with suppliers and customers, allow companies to streamline and improve data exchange and information that could result in the betterment of material and product flows within the SC. Results: We particularly explore how risk at country level in the form of rule of law influences the operational performance of SCI through its innovativeness and cost. Furthermore, we aim to explore how risk management practices of SC can be connected under different scenarios of risk and uncertainty. The current study has used SEM-PLS as a statistical tool to answer the research questions raised in this study and research objectives envisaged in the current study. The findings of the study have provided support to the theoretical foundation and proposed hypothesis of the current study. Current study will be helpful for policymakers and practitioners in understanding the issues related to supply chain risk, supply chain integration and supply chain performance. In the author's knowledge this is among very few pioneering studies on this issue.

Unexpected incidents are driving global supply chains to the brink of collapse. To effectively manage contingency events like the COVID-19 pandemic and improve operational performance, factors such as information technology (IT), relational competencies, cooperation with supply chain partners and integration of supply chain systems that contribute to cooperation are essential. This study found that IT and relational competencies positively influence the integration of supply chain systems, and relational competencies have a stronger implication on supply chain integration and collaboration. In addition, supply chain collaboration, strengthened by supply chain integration, positively affects contingency management. Finally, contingency management positively influences operational performance. In this study, we adopted partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) method in the analysis with 102 surveys collected from business managers. Through the evaluation of determinants of contingency management and supply chain performance, this study widens the theoretical base of supply chain management and provides managers with optimal ways to build a more resilient supply chain system to cope with unexpected incidents. Consequently, with collaboration-based contingency management, companies can solve problems properly and reduce additional loss, which will enhance operational performance and enable sustainable business success.

Purpose: The prime objective of the current study is to investigate the relationship between agile supply chain agility, supply chain performance and the supply chain orientation in Indonesia SMEs. In addition to that the indirect relationship between and among the supply chain orientation, supply chain agility and supply chain performance is examined. Employing the survey-based methodology, the SEM-PLS technique is used to test the hypothesized relationships. Methodology: Current study has used SEM-PLS as a statistical tool to answer the research questions raised in this study and research objectives envisaged in the current study. Results: The findings of the study have provided support to the theoretical foundation and proposed hypothesis of the current study. Current study will be helpful for policymakers and practitioners in understanding the issues related to supply chain risk, supply chain integration and supply chain agility. Purpose: Majority of times, it is argued that firm could face difficulty to reconfigure its processes and capture opportunities within the marketplace, without even suspecting such opportunities earlier. Methodology: Market sensing shows the routines of organization which are associated with quick learning about competitors, customers, business environment, and SC members, enabling to understand market conditions for the purpose of forecasting. Results: This study is interested in examining the relationship between supply chain performance and firm performance in the presence of firm performance. To test the hypotheses we have used the SEM-AMOS statistical technique.

Purpose: The main objective behind the study is to investigate the relationship between agility, adaptability and alignment as determinant of the Sustainable Humanitarian Supply Chain Design. Methodology: The fashion industry is one of the dynamic industries, which undergoes rapid transformation in both the demand and flexibility. A review of the earlier relevant research in the area has been included in the research paper along with an analysis of HSC in comparison to other commercial supply chains. This research paper goes over the definition of SHSC, development, and hurdles in its design, identification of research limitations and development of a model and hypothesis. Statistical analysis for example surveys, sample design, data assembling, variables/measure of identification, bias/pre-testing has been included to support the claims made in the paper. Results: The firms operating in the manufacturing of Indonesia are chosen as the sample of the study. Employing the survey-based methodology, the SEM-PLS technique is used to test the hypothesized relationships. So, the current study has used SEM-PLS as a statistical tool to answer the research questions raised in this study and research objectives envisaged in the current study. The findings of the study have provided support to the theoretical foundation and proposed hypothesis of the current study. Current study will be helpful for policymakers and practitioners in understanding the issues related to supply chain risk, supply chain integration and supply chain performance. Purpose: The current study is interested in exploring the nexus between manufacturing flexibility supply chain practices and manufacturing performance of Indonesian manufacturing firms. Multidimensionality of manufacturing flexibility within the function of manufacturing is generally accepted by past researchers and its importance honoured. Methodology: Employing the survey-based methodology, the SEM-PLS technique is used to test the hypothesized relationships. So, the current study has used SEM-PLS as a statistical tool to answer the research questions raised in this study and research objectives envisaged in the current study. Results: The complexity of manufacturing flexibility has made this concept difficult to comprehend yet delimit. To date, agreement on how to practice this concept has not yet been resolved. The findings of the study have provided support to the theoretical foundation and proposed hypothesis of the current study. Current study will be helpful for policymakers and practitioners in understanding the issues related to supply chain risk, supply chain integration and supply chain agility. PurposeSupply chain integration (SCI) and flexibility (SCF) are recognised as crucial business practices and capability in the global competitive market. However, limited research has paid attention to study the relationship between SCI, SCF and their impact on supply chain performance (SCP). Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to establish a relationship between integration, flexibility and performance.Design/methodology/approachThe structural equation modelling technique was used to analyse the 187 data collected from Indian organisations through the survey methodology.FindingsFindings indicate that external integration contributes significantly to realise SCF and SCP. Sourcing and logistics flexibility also help to improve the SCP. The mediation analysis showed that the association of customer and supplier integration with SCP is partially and fully mediated by logistics flexibility, respectively. This study suggests that integration influences the SCP when the firm has a strong association with downstream partners and enough capability for logistics flexibility.Research limitations/implicationsThe study has collected cross-sectional data to analyse the relationship between SCI, SCF and SCP. However, as integration requires an effort of the years, longitudinal data and industry-specific studies may provide comprehensive views to validate the results of this study.Originality/valueBuilding on relational view theory and dynamic capability theory, the study has proposed the SCP assessment framework based on the relationship between SCI and SCF.
