Automobile industry is one of the competitive industry in the world. The companies should be flexible to provide customers’ demand. They need a good strategy to be flexible, agile is the best strategy for this problem. Supply chain is one of the important part of manufacturing, in the automobile industry they should have a good suppliers to answer any change in the product line. In Iran the suppliers of Automobile industries have a problem to be flexible and fast to answer the product line’s change. In this study, the important factors for agile supply chain in Iranian Automobile industries introduced. This factors selected based on experts’ opinion and analyzed by fuzzy Delphi method. The agile supply chain is focused on speed, responsiveness, cost efficiency, flexibility and an increase in the productivity of goods and services. Since agile companies offer higher service levels with lower inventories, this field is receiving increasing attention over the last two decades in the manufacturing and service industry. This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of the literature on the agile supply chains in the manufacturing and service industry. It maps previous research in this field, across a gamut of journals, organizations and countries. The analysis demonstrates the evolution of agile supply chain research in the last few decades by employing various methodologies. Highly influential authors, organizations and keywords were analysed with the help of the multiple visualization tools. Important publications, citations and co-citation network clusters were formed. This article would be helpful for researchers and practitioners exploring or interested in this seeking research guidance. Future research could focus on the relationship between agile capabilities and the financial performance of the organizations. Researchers can focus on conducting the in-depth market research on agile implementation in construction management, aerospace and pharmaceutical industry.

As disasters become progressively more frequent and complex, better collaboration through partnerships with private business becomes more important. This research aimed to understand how platforms support the engagement of the private sector—especially logistics businesses—in humanitarian relief operations. The study was based on a literature review and on an investigation of an emblematic case of the cross-sector platform, recognized at a global level in logistics and supply chain management, between the United Nations World Food Programme and the Logistics Emergency Teams (WFP/LET), composed of four global leading logistics providers. The insights resulting from this paper may be of particular interest to both academics and professionals regarding the two sectors, profit and non-profit. This is because the implementation of the platform reflects the concrete benefit for people in need reached by the humanitarian relief operations. It may also constitute a useful tool for building an agile supply chain capable of being resilient in responding to sudden and unexpected changes in the context, both in humanitarian and commercial supply chains.

The broad objective of this paper is to determine the nature of relationship that exists between supply chain management and performance of brewing firms in South-South, Nigeria. Specifically, this study seeks to ascertain the extent of relationship between agile supply chain and organizational innovation. The study was fastened on Ludwig von Bertalanffy systems theory of 1950s. Survey research design was adopted for the study, a total population of two hundred and forty-eight (248) was used for the study. Census sampling method was used for the study because the population is a manageable size. The data collection tool employed by the researcher was the questionnaire, while the analysis of the data was done using the linear regression analysis. Results obtained from the test of hypothesis revealed that a strong significant positive relationship exists between agile supply chain and organizational innovation (F =6755.312; R-squared = 0.853; P <.05). Based on the findings, the study concluded that there exists a strong significant positive relationship between supply chain management and performance of brewing firms in South-South, Nigeria. Base on that, the study recommended an enactment and implementation of an agile supply chain strategy by the production department of the focused brewing firms as it could impact organizational innovation.

Worldwide business organizations realize that agility of sustainable supply-chain is a requisite need for survival in a dynamic, competitive, and unpredictable market. The contribution of this research is to explore and evaluate sustainable agility in supply chains for a dairy manufacturing organization located in Saudi Arabia. Other contributions of this research are to update the literature about the different factors contributing to achieve agile supply chain, propose conceptual framework and assessment approach incorporating the relationships between sustainable supply-chain capabilities, enablers, and attributes, and shortlisting the agility barriers and how they would facilitate manufacturing organizations’ performance. The paper presents supply chain agility evaluation approach, which covers identification of agile supply-chain capabilities and drivers. It also presents a conceptual model and a framework to define agility level and barriers within the supply-chain. In the paper, fuzzy logic approach is preferred, owing to its capability to incorporate and deal with problems involving impreciseness and vagueness phenomena. Threshold-value in this study for the case organization is set to 0.24829. The outcome of the adopted approach indicates that 21 attributes performed below the threshold value; these attributes are further categorized as agility barriers. These are the barriers within their supply chain that impact the agility-level. For the case organization, the foremost priority is to enhance maintainability and serviceability to make it flexible and inexpensive to establish an agile responsive supply chain. At the same time, it should have priority to focus on development and integration of their core competencies to deal with cross-functional and cross-enterprise issues in supply chain. For the case organization, the agility level was found “very agile,” although it is below the “extremely agile.” Thus, a study was developed to understand the behaviour of the supply chain agility and assess/evaluate it to support decision makers in order to develop a strategic solution for different organizational barriers.
