Paud is an organization engaged in early childhood education that must be very well managed and maximally organized because paud is a learning platform that focuses on children who have a golden age whose time span is only short and must be really serious in implementing the learning system so that it is in line with the goals and directions of early childhood education. Planning is the initial foundation of an activity can and will be carried out, in planning made a goal, which is summarized in the vision and mission of the organization, the next activity is organizing, after planning then what must be considered is how activities can be carried out properly according to objectives, activities that must be carried out is the distribution of tasks to experts in accordance with predetermined fields. Furthermore, the implementation of the plans that have been made, implementation is a process that is carried out continuously repeatedly so that there is a need for a control or supervision to ensure that the implementation of activities runs well in accordance with the provisions that have been planned.

In childhood education, a behaviorist approach (a mixture of praise and punishment) has been used for student target behaviors; however, the results have not been consistent. This study investigated how a constructivist approach would work in the same setting. The participant was a four-year-old student who showed target behaviors with negative attention-seeking and avoidance of self-regulation; three teachers and the author worked with him on collaborative action research. We treated him using the behaviorist approach in the first cycle of intervention. It seemed to work on the surface but was not helping him become autonomously self-regulated; his surroundings learned to remove the antecedents. We took the constructivist approach for the second cycle of intervention, wherein the student was provided opportunities to build puzzle pictures and give them to his teachers or friends. The teacher’s scaffolding helped him complete the task, perceive his competence, and aim for even bigger challenges. Through his efforts, he experienced making others happy, and as the growing-giving mindset was fostered, the target behaviors were decreased.

To realize the vision of national development, namely to realize a society of noble character, morality, ethics, culture and civilization based on the Pancasila philosophy, the national education system must be the main focus that must be addressed. Based on the functions and objectives of national education, it is clear that education at every level must be organized systematically to achieve that goal. This concerns the reality of education in educational units from early childhood education to tertiary education which is currently experiencing fading and degradation in terms of forming the character of its students. All of this is due to the absence of a learning system focused on the direction of the formation of superior character values. Keywords:education, character education, youth and the future of the nation Untuk mewujudkan visi pembangunan nasional, yaitu mewujudkan masyarakat berakhlak mulia, bermoral, beretika, berbudaya dan beradab berdasarkan falsafah Pancasila, maka sistem pendidikan nasional harus menjadi fokus utama yang harus dibenahi.

Teacher–child interactions are the most important factor that determines the quality of early-childhood education. A systematic review was conducted to gain a better understanding of the nature of teacher–child interactions that multilingual children are exposed to, and of how they differ from teacher–child interactions of monolingual children. Thirty-one studies were included. The included studies (a) mainly focused on multilingual children with low language proficiency in the majority language and (b) hardly compared between monolingual and multilingual children. The review shows that teacher–child interactions of multilingual children are comparable to the interactions of monolingual children, although teachers do adopt different strategies to facilitate the development of multilingual children, such as the use of the home language and nonverbal communication to support understanding. Worryingly, several studies indicate that multilingual children are exposed to unequal learning opportunities compared with their monolingual peers.

Feminist ways of being allow us to be vulnerable and willing to admit doubt and to live expanded views of early childhood education and teaching. These practices are characterized by a love ethic, attending to entanglements of heartmindbody. In this article, we rely on entangled narratives between ourselves and early childhood educators asking how valuing entangled relationships can expand creative possibilities within onlinelearning spaces. We draw from experiences within the newly established University of New Brunswick online bachelor of education in early childhood. Our research unfolds with a desire to value literate histories often silenced—sometimes lost—within standardized, institutional ways of being and becoming.
