The resource and technological basis for sustainable development became the key topic of the XVIII International Russian-Chinese Expert Forum held on June 15-16, 2021 as part of the Russia-China Cross Year of Innovation and Technology (2020-2021). The program of the event included reports by scientists from Russia, China, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, who raised the issues of achieving sustainable development goals, introducing technological innovations, improving cooperation between our countries within the framework of the international project "Dialogue partnership as a factor of stability and integration" ("Bridge between West and East "). Fruitful discussions and exchange of experience took place, and plans for further cooperation were outlined.

Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology and V. I. Vernadsky Nongovernmental Foundation collaborate in promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals to libraries and other institutions of culture and education. In 2020, the new activity was successfully tested; it was to attract attention to SDGs with the contest of calendars. In 2021, the contest has expanded to the international project and comprised, beside competing calendars on SDG 11.4 «Preservation of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage», a series of supporting educational events. The background, development and goals of the project are discussed. The project topic and its key provisions are characterized.

The Global Islamic Economy Indicator recognizes Malaysia as a global leader of the Islamic/Halal economy. Malaysia is also expanding its Islamic Economy and Business Ecosystem. Accordingly, the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development (MED) in Malaysia aims to produce a million small and medium enterprise (SME) entrepreneurs in 2019-2023. However, the Global Innovation Index in 2018 and 2019 ranked Malaysia in the 35th place globally, behind top Asian innovators like Singapore, South Korea, and Japan. This raises an important question: How can Malaysia foster its entrepreneurial economy using its advantageous position in the Halal industry? Malaysia must act now to prepare for a future led by innovation and technology. The country can use the Halal Entrepreneurship Success Scale to foster sustainable innovation and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Measuring the success of Halal entrepreneurs in Malaysia can help it to achieve the SDGs. The religious background of Halal entrepreneurs motivates them to contribute positively to their society and environment. Halal entrepreneurship can be a driver of transformation that can help attain and deliver the SDGs while promoting sustainable economic growth. The findings of this paper can be useful to policy makers, regulators, practitioners, and academics.

The Covid-19 pandemic around the world has caused many problems in various sectors. The implementation of lockdown and large-scale social restrictions made it difficult to distribute foodstuffs from producers to consumers and also to deliver humanitarian aid. This made the inequalities even wider. The pandemic also resulted in an economic crisis which resulted in increased unemployment so that many people were starving because they could not afford food. This certainly hinders the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially No Hunger and Reduced Inequalities points. In West Java, reviving the Beas Perelek tradition is a solution. However, a question arises whether this tradition can be applied in a time of the Covid-19 pandemic like today. The objective of this research is to describe the implementation and analyze the potential for sustainability of Beas Perelek in the society of West Java also to provide strategic elaboration recommendations to achieve sustainable development goals during the Covid-19 pandemic.To achieve the objective, this research using qualitative methods by collecting data from literature studies. The sustainability analysis technique uses the rapfish-MDS and the SWOT method to formulate an elaboration strategy of Beas Perelek. The result of the research showed that the tradition of Beas Perelek had benefits in reducing hunger and inequalities in society. The result of the research shows the continuity of the tradition of Beas Perelek in the good category with continuing status. To increase the implementation of Beas Perelek during the pandemic, it is necessary to carry out several elaboration strategies such as being revitalized into an economic institution, using technological innovations, and making special policies that regulate the implementation of the Beas Perelek.

Abstract. Economic changes in the context of globalization have left adolescents from Latin American contexts with few opportunities to make satisfactory transitions into adulthood. Recent studies indicate that there is a protracted period between the end of schooling and entering into formal working activities. While in this “limbo,” illicit activities, such as drug trafficking may emerge as an alternative for young people to ensure their social participation. This article aims to deepen the understanding of Brazilian youth’s involvement in drug trafficking and its intersection with their schooling, work, and aspirations, connecting with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 and 16 as proposed in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by the United Nations in 2015 .
