Aplastic anemia is a rare disease of the blood system characterized by suppression of hematopoiesis in all lines of hematopoiesis, replacement of hematopoietic tissue with fatty tissue and absence of other causes or diseases that can suppress hematopoiesis. The incidence is 2-3 cases per 1 million population per year in the regions of Europe and America, rates are 2-3 times higher in East Asia. The disease most often begins between the ages of 10 and 25 years and over 60 years. The etiology remains unknown in 70-80 % of cases. The frequency of acquired cases predominates over congenital cases. The triggering factors can be chemical, physical exposures, medications, and viral infections. This case report describes a case of a patient developing aplastic anemia, as a result of a coronavirus infection.

Hemorrhagic thrombocytopathy with defective signal transduction CalDAG-GEFI is a rare disease associated with a mutation in the RASGRP2 gene. At the moment, this disease is described in 10 person in the world. We present clinical case report of this pathology of a 9-year-old child. We also offer a review of the available literature about pathogenetic features, clinical manifestations and prevalence of this rare disease. The patient’s parents gave their consent to the use of their child’s data, including photographs, for research purposes and in publications.

During the care of patients with novel coronavirus infection at the Lomonosov MSU Medical Research and Education Center from April 21 to June 13, 2020, we observed cases of spontaneous mediastinal emphysema (spontaneous pneumomediastinum) as a manifestation or a probable complication of COVID-19.The aim of the paper. To provide clinical case descriptions and approaches to the management of patients with spontaneous pneumomediastinum in COVID-19 associated pneumonia, as they are not addressed in the current clinical guidelines, and therefore are worthy of special attention.Among 224 patients with laboratory-confirmed diagnosis of the novel coronavirus infection COVID-19, five cases of pneumomediastinum without pneumothorax were identified. Of these, in two cases the pneumomediastinum developed during noninvasive lung ventilation (NLV) (one case) and invasive lung ventilation (one case). In three cases, spontaneous mediastinal emphysema was not associated with lung ventilation. By the time of publication, one case of pneumomediastinum was completed, and four patients remained hospitalized. All five patients were males aged from 52 to 84 years.This paper presents in depth the description of two cases of mediastinal and subcutaneous emphysema in patients with COVID-19.

The Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome caused by Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) has a destructive impact on the population all over the world. In this scenario, the extent, to which the disease will affect more vulnerable individuals, such as pregnant women, is a major concern. Since pregnancy can be a risk factor for respiratory viral infections, there are significant differences regarding the severity of COVID-19 between pregnant and non-pregnant women. In these circumstances, there arises a serious problem associated with the possibility of harm to the health and neuropsychiatric development of the posterity of infected mothers. The acute inflammatory response observed during the disease can lead to several types of nervous system disorders in the newborn. In the light of neuroimmune interactions on the mother-fetus hematoplacental relationship, a clinical case is described that reflects the consequences for the nervous and psychoneurological development of the newborn from SARS-CoV-2 infected mother.

The novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) is now known to cause a variety of extrapulmonary complications, including cardiovascular, neurological and dermatological complications, many of which occur or last several weeks after infection. We present a clinical case of a patient who first developed symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis 2 weeks after recovering from COVID-19. The patient was prescribed therapy in accordance with international and Russian recommendations for the management of patients with ankylosing spondylitis with a positive effect in the form of absence arthritis, enthesitis and reducing the inflammatory back pain.

The novel SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which originated in December 2019 in Wuhan, China, has triggered an outbreak of a respiratory illness called COVID-19. Helium is a colorless inert gas, odorless and tasteless. Thermal helium-oxygen therapy is a new and innovative method that allows you to maintain the diffusion capacity of the lungs. The clinical case presented in this article shows that inhalation of a thermal gas mixture of helium and oxygen (t-He/O2) in the standard therapy of a patient with pneumonia caused by SARS-CoV-2 positively influenced the clinical picture of the disease, improves gas exchange, and promotes accelerating the elimination of the virus, rehabilitation and discharge of the patient.

Despite the lack of information in the medical literature on endometrioid disease complicated by infectious and inflammatory diseases, past community-acquired pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus infection may cause purulent-septic complications of endometriosis. The effect of the virus on endometrioid cysts was hematogenous in this clinical case. The information presented in this report can help clinicians in conducting differential diagnostics in patients with a history of endometriosis and previous SARS-CoV-2, establishing a diagnosis, as well as determining the tactics of examination and treatment.

The case is described and a literature review is carried out.
