In the boarding house the use of water for each person is different for each occupant of theboarding house. The increase in water use is not proportional to the increase in water capacity and theequalization of payments for each boarding house is different. Utilization of technology Internet ofThings (IoT) and the freechat application Telegram in the application to monitor water usageinformation for each boarding house occupant. In this study, a water monitoring device was made tomonitor information from two different platforms. The server can monitor water usage information forall residents of the boarding house. Telegram provides notification information when the water capacityof boarding houses is approaching empty from each device. Using Arduino and ESP8266 as controllersand wifi connection with the server. With this system, it is easier for the boarding house owner tomonitor the water usage of each boarding house occupant.

There is a lack of knowledge among food manufacturers about adopting the Internet of Things (IoT)-based water monitoring system and its ability to support water minimisation activities. It is therefore necessary to investigate the applicability of IoT-based real-time water monitoring systems in a real food manufacturing environment to pursue water-saving opportunities accordingly. This article aims to propose an architecture of an IoT-based water-monitoring system needed for real-time monitoring of water usage, and address any water inefficiencies within food manufacturing. This article looks at a study conducted in a food beverage factory where an IoT-based real-time water monitoring system is implemented to analyse the complete water usage in order to devise solutions and address water overconsumption/wastage during the manufacturing process. The successful implementation of an IoT-based real-time water monitoring system offered the beverage factory a detailed analysis of the water consumption and insights into the water hotspots that needed attention. This action initiated several water-saving project opportunities, which contributed to the improvement of water sustainability and led to an 11% reduction in the beverage factory’s daily water usage.

AbstractAs water rights and water usage become an ever more important part of municipalities’ and states’ way of life, it becomes important to understand what policies can be effective for encouraging conservation of water. One method that has been employed at various times and throughout numerous communities is to limit outdoor watering days. We use a dataset with over 3 million property-month observations during the 2007–2015 period in Norman, Oklahoma, to identify whether the periodic implementation of mandatory water restrictions reduces water usage. Our data allow us to exploit variance in the timing of these water restriction programs. Our findings indicate that this policy reduces water consumption by 0.7 % of total water consumption. Additionally, we use home assessment prices to identify heterogeneity in this response, finding that high priced homes are more responsive to water use restrictions.

Tire pressure monitoring device/system (TPMS) is an electronic device that monitors the air strain of an vehicle tire and indicates the pressure to the driver.Upkeep of tire strain in automobile is vital owing to the reality depletion within the strain of tire ends up in diminished combustible potency and future scratch in tires which ends up in substitution of tires fairly again and again. In this paper the used conception relies upon eliminating above problems and observing those facts continuously using pressure sensor with the help of some devices and wireless modules such as zigbee or rf-transreciever and also STM32 on-chip computer. A different mouth is distended other than conventional muzzle within that device is found which communicate via wireless apparatus and obtained with the help of the wireless module such as zigbee gift out of doors and also the signal is been dispatched to on-chip computer which computer screen units and unveil the strain name (name of tire) and actual strain on a screen monitor which notify the person to fill the air in tire. With the use of this system the user of the vehicle can eliminate the wheel is alignment and supply protection to the vehicle.

Mango is one of the main fruits grown in Mexico that are exported worldwide, but the trees consume a lot of water, and irrigation scheduling should be implemented to optimize water use. Dendrometers were installed in fruit trees to optimize water usage during 2019 and 2020. A capacitor with Teflon clamps pressurized the leaf, and its dielectric changed with leaf water content. Additionally, Hall sensors were installed in leaves to study the effect of water during mango production. It was found that capacitance tend to be more sensitive than magnetic field monitoring. Higher changes were noted during midday with warm weather. Thresholds from the capacitance and Hall effect sensors can provide signals for irrigation scheduling.
