During the last few years several criticisms concerning the possibility of an authentic interreligious dialogue within the traditional doctrine of the Church have emerged under the title of a Pluralistic Theology of Religions. The present paper tries to show how many of the problems pointed at by the pluralistic theologians, as for instance John Hick, can be solved by Ramon Llull 's concept of apologetics without abandoning the universal truth-claims that characterize each religion. To this end, first the actual criticisms concerning the interreligious dialogue will be analized, secondly the most distinctive features of the lullian approach will be presented, i.e. doubt and philosophy, and finally a Philosophy of Religions inspired by Llull and current theology will be proposed.

This paper examines the problem of a theology of religions without the Trinity and the problem of overemphasizing interreligious dialogue without taking the inner communion identity of the church seriously. This paper argues that central to an authentic Trinitarian theology of religions is the question of how the church is rightly to be understood in relation to the Trinity as the doctrinal ground and guide for its inner communion of first theology (a trinitarian theology of the Christian religion) and in its external communion of second theology with the religious world as the realm of the trinitarian reign (a trinitarian theology of religions). Building on this framework, this paper explores the right hermeneutics of the triple identity of the Trinity, Christian faith and other faiths as the ground and guide for Christian right approaches to other faiths for the right goals of mission.

Interreligious dialogue, like all else, is having its own way in Asia and reveals its own theology of religion. This has to be seen against the background of what transpires in the Western patriarchate in the same field of theology. Here I will focus on one particular model which has created tension between the two magisteria that function dialectically in the church today: the “academic magisterium” of the theologians and the “pastoral magisterium” of the bishops and in particular the bishop of Rome. They differ in their responses, but they begin their theology of religion by asking almost the same question.

The article is devoted to the description of the verb "to wallow" from lexicographic sources that fix the vocabulary of the Russian language of the X - XVII centuries. The method of linguistic portraiture is used to combine data from etymological and historical dictionaries and see the dynamics of the development of the semantic, word-formation and stylistic potential of the language unit in the diachrony. The article details the materials of etymological and historical dictionaries of the Russian language, presents and describes numerous variants of the use of an imperfective “gryaznut’” and a perfective “pogryaznut’”, recorded in dictionaries containing the vocabulary of the Russian language of the X - XVII centuries. It has been established that in the ancient Russian language, the imperfective “gryaznut’” had a direct nominative meaning of "dive, sink" and was rarely used in monuments of writing. The multi-valued and most frequency used was the positive, effective perfective “pogryaznut’”. The article presents all lexical and semantic variants of the verb and examples of word usage recorded in dictionaries that reflect the vocabulary of the X - XVII centuries. The article presents synonyms and numerous derivatives of the verb, including the semantics of abstract nouns formed from the verb “pogryaznut’” and reflecting the influence of the Church Slavonic language on the book-written literary language of the old Russian period. The lexicographic portrait of the lexeme “pogryaznut’” shows ambiguity in the interpretation of certain meanings in different historical periods. The analysis allows us to compare the meanings of the lexeme, see their distinctive features and conclude that there are independent stereotypical images that exist in the minds of native speakers in the X - XVII centuries.

The main purpose of Christian social teaching is to form a person's Christian outlook, to provide the Christian with answers to the questions of the present and specific recommendations regarding the model of behavior in different situations in life. In its turn, social doctrine expresses a confessional perspective on the problems of modern life faced by believers. This view is formulated in special documents of denominations, the totality of which constitutes the "social doctrine of the Church"

Interreligious dialogue is a decisive aspect in the dynamic of "aggiornamento", which the Catholic Church has initiated since the Second Vatican Council. In order to walk this path of renewal, the Church of Senegal must promote a dialogue of multiform dimensions: doctrinal, cognitive, pragmatic, ethical and spiritual. The concept of dialogue, developed through this book, is a form of contribution to this theological and pastoral task. It calls on the Church in Senegal to draw on the African genius to practice a dialogue rooted in the existence of the Senegalese people. Through this approach, it is possible to break down ethnic and religious barriers in order to open up a new horizon of brotherhood and human development. The Author Richard Ngagne Tine, born in 1975 in Senegal, is a priest of the Diocese of Thiès. He obtained his doctorate in systematic theology in 2021 from the Catholic theological faculty of the University of Münster, Germany. He specialised in anthropology, ecclesiology and the theological foundations of interreligious dialogue in Senegal.
