Abstract The objective of this study is to examine the aspects of investment in human capital like training of employees, education level of employees, knowledge level of employees, and skills of employees that influence the performance of a bank and to provide some comments to improve the banking sectors. This research included a conceptual model along with hypotheses. This empirical study is based on primary data. The data were obtained by the convenient sampling procedure with a questionnaire using the Seven Point Likert Scale. The hypothesized model has been validated using data from 261 participants and an analysis was conducted using the system of Structural Equation Modelings (SEM). The results revealed that investment in training, knowledge level and skills of the employee was positively connected to bank performance at less than 1% and a 5% level of significance. But, the employee's educational level does not substantially affect bank output in this analysis. The focus field is the study of the human capital investments of the Human Resources Division at Janata Bank Limited. It investigates different aspects of the Janata Bank’s facilities as well as the problems and prospects. Thus, this study can be a policy dialog for the managers, owners, decision-makers, and academicians.

The study purpose is to analyse the impact of training, competence, motivation and leadership towards performance either directly or through job satisfaction as a mediator variable. As many as 55 staff are considered as respondents in this research, and census method is used as the sampling method. Primary data in this study were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Likert Scale. Secondary data are obtained from the organization structure Sukamandi Apparatus Training Centre (BDA), performance appraisal, staff attendance, information system and personnel management. Structural Equation Modeling Analisis of Moment Structures (SEM-AMOS) is used to process and analyze data. This study shows staff with high education, competence and leadership have a significant effect on performance, While the job satisfaction is significant in mediating the influence of training, competence and leadership on performance. Next on the employee with low education, training, competence, motivation and leadership have a significant influence on performance, while job satisfaction is significant in mediating the effect of competence and leadership on staff performance.   Keywords:  training, competence, motivation, leadership, job satisfaction, performance

This research aims to examine the impact of sustainable banking practices and bank characteristics on bank performance. Structural equation models were used to analyze 11 banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that published sustainability reports consistently during the periods of 2015–2018. Results indicate that while the internalization of sustainability issues in banking business practices does not have a significant impact on bank performance, the characteristics of a bank, which are reflected by institutional and foreign ownership and bank age, have a significant effect on bank financial and nonfinancial performance. The implications of sustainable banking practices are indicated to gain legitimacy from regulators for the existence of financial entities and meet stakeholder expectations, which in practice require trade-off of interests among stakeholder groups. This study was intended to examine the effect of COVID-19 on students and education system in India. This study included the following objectives; to evaluate the affect of pre and post COVID-19 virus situation among students in India, to examine the impact of COVID-19 on education system in India. The questionnaire format of Google forms was applied in order to collect data. Primary data source was used and data was analyzed using the chi square statistical tool at 5% level of significance which was presented in frequency tables and percentages. The respondents under the study were 355 students of undergraduate and post graduate level in India. The study findings revealed that COVID-19 pandemic has a significant impact on the education in India.

<p>The problem of this research was Turnover intention is a factor of discomfort experienced agent in a company. Turnover intention needs to get serious attention to the organization especially to leadership or manager so can applying force leadership proper and improve job satisfaction to reduce job stress in the company.<br />The purpose of this research was the effect of leadership style and job satisfaction toward Turnover intention throught job stress at customer service (frontline) PT Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE), Tomang Jakarta.<br />The methodology of this research was testing hypothesis. The data used were primary data collected from questionaire. The samples consisted of 164customer service (frontline)PT Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE), which were determined through purposive sampling method. The data were analyzed through Structural Equation Model (SEM) of AMOS version 23.0for Windows.<br />The results of the study showed that there have been negative effect and significant between leadership style and job satisfaction toward Turnover intention throught job stress. The role of job stress very dominant as a mediator the influence of leadership style and job satisfaction toward Turnover intention.<br />Implication of this research is expected to managers can increase the determinants job stress itself for example by raising job satisfaction (salary, reward, job promotion) and applying force leadership proper and able to adjust with all the work situation.</p>

Coronavirus new which caused the outbreak of pneumonia and caused the closure of tourist destinations and caused many SMEs products to be returned by the souvenir center and SMEs production stopped during the Covid-19 pandemic. Banyuwangi Regency has also experienced the closure of tourist destinations starting March 2020 and has an impact on SMEs in Banyuwangi Regency, one of which is Ratu Manis SMEs. After the closure of tourist attractions, 70% of Ratu Manis SMEs products that were entrusted to the souvenir center and tourist attractions were returned. The number of SMEs Ratu Manis production has also decreased. Many exhibition events at every festival held in Banyuwangi Regency have been canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Ratu Manis SMEs is trying to rise from the impact caused by the Covid-19 pandemic through synergy from various parties with the help of the government, academics, media and the community using the pentahelix approach. The research approach used in this research is descriptive research. The data sources used in this study are secondary and primary data sources. The data were collected using data collection techniques, namely observation and interviews with the source triangulation strategy for data validity. With penta helix synergy of industry, government, academia, media and the community sweet queen SMEs can survive to face the pandemic covid-19 and may even improve the quality of the products and sales turnover also increased from 20 kg to 40 kg per day.

This study aims to examine and validate the impact of big data analytical capabilities (individual, organizational, and technological) on bank performance via the mediating role of Fintech innovation in commercial banks operating in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Based on a literature review, resource-based theory, and financial innovation theory, an integrated conceptual framework was developed to guide the study. A quantitative survey approach was used, and the data was collected from 236 banks' senior managers (IT, financial, and marketers). Amos 21 structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to analyze and verify the study variables. The main findings revealed that big data analytical capabilities had a significant positive influence on bank performance. Fintech innovation acted as partial mediators in this relationship.

This article aims to examine the relationships between external and internal social capital, managerial human capital, and managerial knowledge structures, respectively. It also examines the effect of managerial human capital and managerial knowledge structures on firm performance in the telecommunications sector in Jordan. A questionnaire was distributed to 250 managers in the telecommunications sector in Jordan. Utilizing structural equation modeling, it was found that external social capital has a positive significant effect on internal social capital and managerial human capital. Internal social capital has positively and significantly affected managerial knowledge structures. Furthermore, both managerial human capital and managerial knowledge structure had affected firm performance positively. As technology is expanding in this sector, relevant knowledge and information is becoming a source of competitive advantage, thus managers in this sector should build beneficial ties that might enhance human resources' capabilities that benefit the decision-making processes.

The study examines the impact of the National Poverty Eradication Programme on poverty reduction in Cross River State. To guide the study, two major hypotheses were stated and primary data were obtained from 361 respondents from the benefactors of the State government Conditional Cash Transfer. The data obtained were tested using Chi-square statistical tool at. 05 degree of significance to examine the level of impact. The analysis of data in reveals that the calculated value of chi square (18.1) was greater than the table value of chi (9.49), tested at. 05 level of significance. This implied that the implementation of NAPEP has a significant impact on entrepreneurial development among youths in Cross River State. In table 2, the results obtained also showed that the calculated value of chi square (15.1) is greater than the table value of chi (9.49), tested at .05 level of significance, meaning that the null hypothesis was ignored and the alternative that the implementation of NAPEP has significant impacts on the provision of micro credit facilities to entrepreneur in Cross River State was accepted. However, the results obtained called for attention to other areas of interest neglected by the programme. These were identified to include the need to harness agriculture, water and solid minerals resources and conservation efforts especially in the rural-areas where the main occupation is agriculture. This concern formed the baseline for policy recommendations.
