This study offers a contribution to the reception analysis of TV documentaries by focusing on viewer opinions expressed on social media. It analyses German and English comments from YouTube and Facebook in order to find out what aspects of documentaries the audience comments on. More specifically, it describes how the viewers evaluate strategies that the producers use for simplifying complex content while still creating an appealing and entertaining media product. The results imply that most viewers appreciate informative shows that are entertaining at the same time. They also show that viewers tend to focus on the music and image, rather than on the spoken text, and that documentaries where nature plays an important role are judged more positively than science and history documentaries.

Hafiz Ali Korça had singled Islamic mysticism and its poetics, the tasavvuf, Oriental Sufi literature of Omar Khayyam. Nezim Berati, author of the Divan, the names mutesavvif. The form and manner of spiritual cleansing, uplifting, lighting internal and external, in order to obtain the agreement of God and eternal bliss, has singled out the Eqrem Çabej to Naim Frashëri poetic beginnings. Religious feelings helped him strengthen ethnic sense. The Divan, in complex form of oriental supplied popular culture, written text spoken text (sung text). Paid the debt that had to Albanian oral literary culture. The study will argue that the Albanian literature is added value. Our history of the spiritual culture of literary monuments go 4. The Divan first Albanian has pure literary discourse. It is a way of being self-sufficient. The truth of gazellas, his kasidas possible. Marked what could happen. The event provided the writers figured through the process of story, description or image. Real size of fables not lose, time and space are not fantasy. Therefore this is not fantasy literature, but the tassavvuf. Its hero acts in the domain of spirituality. As a combination of spiritual requirements for completing their dream. It is poetry as a separate value and beauty. Austrian researcher Han author make antonymyzation Anakreont of Albania. The Divan in Albanian literature was a unified stylistic formation, which served the Islamic aesthetic purpose. Her literary theoretical codification is tasavvuf. Is more universal than the national poet, despite the trend towards national.

In the paper, an analysis of information gathered during examinations of children with speech development disorder of cortical origin is presented. The study group consisted of 4 individuals (two girls and two boys), aged 5–10. The results of the examination of phonemic awareness and understanding of a few sentences-long spoken texts as well as articulating a few sentences-long texts suggested a possible correlation between these two types of skills (phonemic awareness, spoken text understanding and production). However, a thorough analysis of the results does not allow one to conclude that the specific phonemic awareness deficits and/or speech perception difficulties have a predominant influence on the narrative skills of children with speech development disorder of cortical origin. Although the main hypothesis was disproved, the results of the analysis shed light on another possible explanation of speech production difficulties in the abovementioned speech and language disorder: deficient/insufficient auditory attention and/or verbal working memory. Such explanation has not yet been taken into consideration in the research on speech and language development disorder of cortical origin.

Textuality in antiquity differs significantly from that of modern Western culture in which the text exists as a fixed, idealized abstraction. In antiquity reading was speaking, and stichography is a visual representation of this interface between speech and writing. Stichography’s spatialization displays scribes’ perception of the spoken text including the concomitants of oral performance. Stichography also reflects scribes’ attentiveness to the readership’s experience with the performed or inscribed text. Scribes interacted with compositions as authors, adapting them according to the exigencies of specific performance events. As a result, the transmission of a specific written layout can supersede parallelismus membrorum; nevertheless, parallelism is a constitutive device in the majority of stichographic texts. The demarcation of sense units elicits two symbiotic social uses, both of which are also implied by the content of the canon. Stichographic texts provide a formatted reference point that is styled to facilitate oral performance and pedagogy.

AbstractSocial information such as ethnicity affects metalinguistic judgments, speech perception and evaluation. This study tested whether previously reported negative effects of perceived East-Asian ethnicity on language comprehension and accentedness ratings would also be found for Moroccan ethnicity and in a socio-cultural environment with a population used to being and communicating with nonnative speakers. The results showed that accentedness ratings and comprehension scores do not depend upon the ethnicity of the speaker. We then tested whether the effect would change under adverse listening conditions and found an effect of perceived ethnicity on accentedness ratings but not on comprehension scores, suggesting that the effect of ethnicity on language comprehension is not altered under adverse listening conditions. Effects of ethnicity on accentedness ratings thus replicate previous findings, but only under suboptimal listening conditions. Although the effect of ethnicity on comprehension was not replicated in regards to Moroccan ethnicity and in a linguistically experienced population, negative correlations between accentedness ratings and the corresponding comprehension scores underlie the contribution of listeners’ characteristics to the comprehension and evaluation of nonnative speech.

Increasing use of spontaneous speech data in second language re-search made it necessary to use other measures than tests for getting insight into the lexical richness of (spoken) text corpora of second language learners. In this article several lexical measures (types, TTR(c), Guiraud, logTTR, Uber, theoretical vocabulary) are examined and discussed. On the basis of several studies that the TTR is the worst measure possible, but the better measures (types, Guiraud, theoretical vocabulary) are problematic too. Next, the characteristics of the lexical measures are examined by means of a few simple computer simulations with hypothetical lexica. The outcome is mat neither the reliability, nor the validity of the different measures are satisfactory, especially with respect to the TTR.
