The article presents a clinical case of the successful treatment of a patient with traumatic separation of the upper limb and massive damage to the soft tissues of the upper shoulder and chest. The effectiveness of applying the damage control principles and the method of local negative pressure for the prevention of local and systemic infectious complications is emphasized.

Histological Method

The analysis of literature and exceptional clinical case of combination of inverse acne and infiltrative-productive stage of rosacea are presented. The historical facts, ethiopathogenesis, comorbidity, treatment, clinical picture and diagnostics with use of both standard and invasive methods of research (histological method) are described. Successful treatment of combination of inverse acne and an infiltrative-productive stage of rosacea with antibiotics and actinolyzat is reported.

This report presents a clinical case of treatment of Salmonella coxitis, developed as a result of bacteremia, which is a fairly rare complication. We performed head resection of both femurs and, after long-term antibiotic therapy, total hip replacement within six months from the onset of the disease. Given the lack of publications on the tactics of treating patients with this pathology in the accessible medical literature, we believe that our experience will be useful to specialists engaged in the treatment of patients with diseases of large joints.

The prevalence of insulinomas is 13 cases per million population per year of which 414% tumor is malignant. Weight gain is one of the symptoms of the disease, often resulting in morbid obesity with indications for surgical treatment. The presented clinical case demonstrates the successful treatment of malignant insulinoma with the manifestation of hypoglycemic syndrome after carrying out biliopancreatic bypass with longitudinal gastrectomy for morbid obesity.
