In the paper, the cooperative game with a hypergraph communication structure is considered. For this class of games, a new allocation rule was proposed by splitting the original game into a game between hyperlinks and games within them. The communication possibilities are described by the hypergraph in which the nodes are players and hyperlinks are the communicating subgroups of players. The game between hyperlinks and between players in each hyperlink is described. The payoff of each player is influenced by the actions of other players dependent on the distance between them on hypergraph. Constructed characteristic functions based on cooperative behaviour satisfy the convexity property. The results are shown by the example.

This paper investigates core stability of cooperative (TU) games via a fuzzy extension of the totally balanced cover of a cooperative game. The stability of the core of the fuzzy extension of a game, the concave extension, is shown to reflect the core stability of the original game and vice versa. Stability of the core is then shown to be equivalent to the existence of an equilibrium of a certain correspondence.

One of the properties characterizing cooperative game solutions is consistency connecting solution vectors of a cooperative game with finite set of players and its reduced game defined by removing one or more players and by assigning them the payoffs according to some specific principle (e.g., a proposed payoff vector). Consistency of a solution means that any part (defined by a coalition of the original game) of a solution payoff vector belongs to the solution set of the corresponding reduced game. In the paper the proportional solutions for TU-games are defined as those depending only on the proportional excess vectors in the same manner as translation covariant solutions depend on the usual Davis–Maschler excess vectors. The general form of the reduced games defining consistent proportional solutions is given. The efficient, anonymous, proportional TU cooperative game solutions meeting the consistency property with respect to any reduced game are described.

Abstract Irrational-behavior-proof (IBP) conditions are important aspects to keep stable cooperation in dynamic cooperative games. In this paper, we focus on the establishment of IBP conditions. Firstly, the relations of three kinds of IBP conditions are described. An example is given to show that they may not hold, which could lead to the fail of cooperation. Then, based on a kind of limit characteristic function, all these conditions are proved to be true along the cooperative trajectory in a transformed cooperative game. It is surprising that these facts depend only upon the individual rationalities of players for the Shapley value and the group rationalities of players for the core. Finally, an illustrative example is given.

The paper investigates two-stage stochastic minimum spanning tree games with perishable goods. The cooperative behaviour of the players is defined. At each stage, all players jointly take action to construct a network with a cost matrix. At the second stage, a particular player may leave the game, and the probability of this leaving depends on the cooperative behaviour of all players at the first stage. At each stage game, the total cost of the spanning tree is calculated to include the sum of the costs of the contained edges and the cost of the loss of perishable goods expended on that edge of the spanning tree. The characteristic functions in the game are considered, and the dynamic Shapley values are modified. The time consistency of the dynamic Shapley values is studied.

Game theory approach is used in this study that involves two types of games which are noncooperative and cooperative. Noncooperative game is used to get the equilibrium solutions from each payoff matrix. From the solutions, the values then be used as characteristic functions of Shapley value solution concept in cooperative game. In this paper, the sectors are divided into three groups where each sector will have three different stocks for the game. This study used the companies that listed in Bursa Malaysia and the prices of each stock listed in this research obtained from Datastream. The rate of return of stocks are considered as an input to get the payoff from each stock and its coalition sectors. The value of game for each sector is obtained using Shapley value solution concepts formula to find the optimal increase of the returns. The Shapley optimal portfolio, naive diversification portfolio and market portfolio performances have been calculated by using Sharpe ratio. The Shapley optimal portfolio outperformed the naive diversification portfolio and market portfolio in 6 months before and after the GE14.

The article investigates the role of communicative-functional approach in the translation of scientific and technical literature, when the translation itself is seen as a tool to accomplish purposeful activity of communicators, representatives of different interlingual groups. In practical terms, the difficulties of translating scientific and technical texts are due to the peculiarities of scientific style, insufficient understanding of the terminology of a particular field of knowledge, which complicates the choice of adequate translation solutions. In this context, an important role is played by the translation strategy, where the communicativefunctional approach dominates. The translation is implicitly included in the communication structure between the author and the recipient. The relevance of the article is determined by the necessity of studying the problems of scientific and technical literature translation, taking into account the current realities of interlanguage information exchange.
