Having served as the capital of Tsarist Russia for two hundred years until the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917, the second biggest city of Russia and her gate to Europe, St Petersburg is the city full of historical buildings of fantastic architecture with its historical texture. Because of its historical and cultural significance, St. Petersburg is in UNESCO’s List of World Heritage Sites. On one side, there we have St. Petersburg, a fascinating city, the subject of Dostoyevsky’s novels, with cathedrals, churches, palaces, bridges, statues, and museums, housing rich cultural and historical heritage; on the other side, there we see jewels, reflecting the soul of women and embellishing their bodies. With this study, inspired by the authenticity and the city’s architectural pattern, innovative designs have been created via advanced 3D modeling technology. Thus, it was aimed that the beauty of the grandeur of history could be utilized as accessories, gaining a new functionality and transferring the cultural heritage values from local to universal level.Practical Research Methods have been adopted as a research methodology. The sampling of the study has been limited to the embellishments reflecting the architectural texture of St. Petersburg, as an inspirational resource for jewelry modelling. In planning the study, the stages of analysis, synthesis, selection and modelling of jewelry designs have been taken into account. Keywords: St. Petersburg, Architectural Pattern, Jewelry, Jewelry Design, 3D Digital Modelling, Innovation.

Abstract. The aim of the paper is to study the characteristics of different 3D digital models (point clouds, mesh, CSG, BIM) for the realization of a museum of historical buildings widespread in the territory of South Tyrol through the 3D modeling of several farmhouses between the towns of Collalbo, Longomoso and Siffiano, in the Renon area. Therefore, moving from a defined case study, the paper proposes a workflow for model choice, use, and sharing considering also users profile. The objective is to create a system that allows, the sharing, both on site and remotely, of farmhouses digital models, information, images and documents found during the research. The purpose is to enhance the territory with the promotion of its knowledge taking into account also the importance of the participative aspects. In fact, in this system, are crucial and are a fundamental part of the safeguarding process, effectively increasing the information content and filling any information gaps, allowing the system to grow and become increasingly considerable and effective for the knowledge, documentation and enhancement of the territory.

The chapter underlines the peculiarities of architectural, and it focuses on specific methodological aspects, in particular related to historical studies and their aims. Advanced digital models for historical buildings are based on the synergy of 3D-modeling and database-modeling. In particular, documentation, surveying, computer based-visualization, virtual reconstructions, digital archives, and digital museums, as well as gaming, edutainment, and e-tourism approaches favor the development and diffusion of non-linear, multi-directional, and media complex storytelling for heritage study, interpretation, presentation, and conservation.

The urn, recovered in 2013 by the Cultural Heritage's Police Command along with other 21 and with the funeral set of the tomb of the Cacni family at Perugia, was exhibited at the Quirinale and then moved to Perugia, at the National Archaeological Museum of Umbria. 2014. After a first attempt to survey the laser scanner, the survey, aimed at the graphic documentation and implementation of a virtual model for the study and dissemination, has been performed with photographic processed with software modeling structure from motion.3D model in mesh made with the appropriate software has been cleaned of all its impurities: holes, tips, noise and rough surfaces. To conclude the process, the mapping from photography, with high resolution textures, giving the mesh the appearance next to the real funerary urn. The survey work on the urn of Oenomaus is a case in point, both for research of best practices in the surveys of archaeological objects, both in the ultimate goal of the relief: not only cataloging and knowledge, but also of divulging to a wider public.
