Abstract: This study was aimed to develop a set of integrated problem-based mathematics teaching kits implemented with ICT to improve the critical thinking ability of junior high school students. The study used 4-D learning device development model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The data were collected through the observation of the learning process and students' activity, students' questionnaire responses, and a critical thinking ability test. The findings showed that mathematics teaching materials consisting of teaching kits as a teachers’ handbook based on ICT integrated problem-based materials completed with lesson plans, worksheets, and the use of media learning were appropriate to use.Based on the test results conducted in the field, the teaching kits can enhance the students' critical thinking ability. The findings showed that the average gain in two schools was in the range of g> 0.7, which means that the students' critical thinking ability belonged to the high category, while that of the third school was in the range of 0.3  g  0.7 at 0.62 which means the students’ critical thinking ability belonged to the fair category. Keywords: learning device, information communication technology (ICT), critical thinking PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA BERBASIS MASALAH TERINTEGRASI ICT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SMP KOTA MEDAN Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis masalah terintegrasi dengan ICT untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP. Penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran model 4-D (define, design, develop, disseminate). Data penelitian diperoleh melalui pengamatan proses pembelajaran dan aktivitas siswa, angket respon siswa, dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri atas bahan ajar matematika sebagai buku pegangan guru berbasis masalah yang terintegrasi dengan ICT disertai RPP, LKS, dan media pembelajaran layak digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba di lapangan, perangkat pembelajaran tersebut dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata gain pada dua sekolah dimana sekolah pertama dan kedua didapat rentang g > 0,7 yang artinya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan pada sekolah yang ketiga rentang 0,3  g  0,7 yaitu 0,62 yang artinya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa mengalami peningkatan pada kategori sedang. The research was based on concerns about the development of mathematical critical thinking and mathematical communication ability. The purpose of this study was review and compare the differences of enhancing mathematical critical thinking ability between junior high school students who acquire Model of Search, Solve and Share (SSCS) through hypnoteaching method and those who acquire the conventional learning. This study was a quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent control group design consists of classroom experiments which obtain Model of Search, Solve and Share (SSCS) through hypnoteaching method and control class which obtain conventional learning. The population of this study is junior high school students in Tangerang, where the samples are the grade 8th students in one of the state junior high school in Tangerang. Instruments used to collect data in this research consists of mathematical critical thinking test instruments, student’s attitude scale, and observation sheets. The data obtained is analyzed using the mean difference test, which are the t-test, Mann-Whitney, and Rank-Spearman test. The results showed that the enhancement student’s mathematical critical thinking ability who gotten model os Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) through hypnoteaching method is better than who gotten conventional learning.

The ability to think critically is one of the highest levels of ability. Developing critical thinking skills in students is still considered important to be improved in schools so that students are able and accustomed to facing various problems around it. This study aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of junior high school students who are in excellent classes and regular classes. This research was conducted in Bandung Barat. In this study students are given a test in the form of questions with critical thinking skills, the problem is used to compare between the superior class and ordinary class. Assessment of the problem using several factors of critical ability include 1) students can not understand the problem correctly, 2) students rush in doing the problem, 3) the students cannot choose the problem-solving strategy correctly and 4) the students work on the problem systematically. Then the matter of critical thinking skills of mathematics is analyzed using quasi-experimental research method to analyze students' critical thinking ability that influence learning result. This study shows the differences in critical thinking ability of junior high school students who are in excellent class and ordinary class. This study shows that superior classes are better in mathematical critical thinking ability than a regular class. The results of this study can add knowledge about critical thinking mathematics junior high school students who are in the class and ordinary class and used to facilitate for educational practitioners in the development of critical mathematical thinking skills.

This research aimed  to analyze student worksheet development based on Problem Based Learning model in topic of Probability for Senior High School students of grade X. The instruments which were used in this research were the validation sheet of student worksheet for math lecturer and teacher in order to fulfill the validity aspect, the student scoring sheet in order to fulfill the applicability aspect, and critical mathematic thinking ability test in order to fulfill the effectiveness aspect. The result of the research showed that the student worksheet which was based on Problem Based Learning model had fulfilled the requirements and appropriateness standard based on content, design, and language expert. The data analysis of t-test towards of critical thinking ability showed that the critical thinking ability of students with Problem Based Learning model worksheet was higher than the critical thinking ability of students without Problem Based Learning model worksheet.

The ability to think critically in mathematics, especially high-level mathematical critical thinking, is needed by students so that students are able to face changing circumstances or challenges that exist in life that is always developing. Graded response models (GRM) are used in order to display the estimated item parameters and students' abilities. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Subjects in this study using SMA Simpang Tiga in terms of their mathematical critical thinking skills. Subjects were taken using a mathematical critical thinking ability test, then processed through Microsoft Excel to obtain a Graded Response Models (GRM) graph.Based on data analysis Students can be categorized as highly skilled, in general students can determine the concept of the problem correctly, are able to formulate problems in solving problems, are able to provide reasons and arguments clearly, but students are less able to evaluate problems in solving problems. Students who are categorized as having moderate ability, students can determine the concept of the problem correctly, are able to formulate problems, but students are less clear in providing reasons and arguments clearly, and are less able to evaluate the problems contained in solving problems. Students who are categorized as low, students are able to determine the concept correctly, but students are less able to formulate problems, and students are unable to provide clear reasons.

This study aims to determine the ability to think critically mathematically based on the motivation of junior high school students. The method in this research using correlational method with quantitative approach. The population in this study is in one of the junior high schools in western Bandung and the number of samples as many as 29 students with heterogeneous ability. Intrumen in this research is in the form of test of critical thinking ability capability with number of seven item and non test in the form of learning motivation scale which consist of 25 scale statement. The results of this study obtained that the ability to think critically mathematically based on learning motivation has a positive effect of 16.2%. While 83.8% influenced in addition to student learning motivation.
