The implementation of the Collision Avoidance System is aimed to reduce the risks of collisions at the hairpin bend on a Hilly track, Ghats, or other Zero visibility turns The proposed system contains a set of proximity sensors, warning lights combined with a convex mirror is installed by the side of the road. Moreoverthis project is about the design and manufacturing of speed breaker power generator. In this project we are trying to utilize one such source. In this report we explain in detail the various stages of research, design and manufacturing which was involved in the construction of various components such as springs, generator, rack and pinion mechanism.

For vehicle-borne LiDAR, a mathematical model is built for the computation and reconstruction of laser point cloud with the scanning data, GPS data and IMU data. 3D point cloud of the road and the scenery on the both sides of the road is obtained. Then according to the trajectory of the vehicle, 3D roaming for the scenery on the both sides of the road is realized using OpenGL 3D engine technology. This technology provides a probably feasible way for anti-collision of vehicles and aircrafts when driven at night, in the heavy fog or flying between the mountains.

I am disturbed by Perkins and Redfern's paper in the May 1996 Journal. The COLREGS have been developed over many years of tinkering and tuning. They are not designed only for educated European masters driving big merchant ships. The users; fishermen, yachtsmen, oarsmen, tugmasters, Rhine bargemasters, and Yangtse junkmen, etc, are from all educational standards and from all the world's cultures. The COLREGS are now well-known. There is such a huge investment of time and effort, of learning by millions of different people, that the prospect of tampering with their fundamentals is horrific, even if it would suit a small class of user belonging to the more advanced countries. Change is painful, and too much change, too fast, kills. Compare the practical decision not to change the side of the road on which we British drive: it might be convenient, but it would cost too much. The same applies to the COLREGS.

Often modern cars have a collision avoidance system built into them known as Pre-Crash System, or Collision Mitigation System in order to reduce the collision. But majority of vehicles on the road, especially heavy motor vehicles lack in such a system. In this paper, the implementation of the Collision Avoidance System is to reduce the risks of collisions at the hairpin bend on a Hilly track, Ghats, or other Zero visibility turns. The proposed system contains a set of IR sensors, LEDs, etc. It uses four IR sensors, which are placed on either side of the hairpin bend. The sensors are mutually exclusive and are connected to LEDs through wires. Based on the output of sensors, the LEDs will glow and start alerting the other vehicle approaching from the other end, Hence the drivers will decrease their speeds which would help in preventing collision. The LEDs will help the drivers in detecting the position of the vehicles on either side of the bend. During climatic conditions like fog, snow, etc, the visibility of the drivers would decrease due to which they will not be able to see the LEDs, Hence, a collision may take place. To bring help as soon as possible to the injured, we have also made a proposed system which would alert the nearby hospitals that an accident has taken place. We have used Arduino UNO, GSM sim module and these will be kept inside a black box which will be inside the, car safe from breakage during the accident.

The present rear-end collision accident proportion on the road increases day after day, car collision avoidance system is more and more paid attention. Analysising the existing car collision avoidance system, we propose a car anti-collision algorithm based on safe distance model in this paper. This method takes the influence factors of safety distance for main parameters which fully considers the speed change and the acceleration change of the car 1 and the car 2. It may realize real-time information acquisition and warning judgment according to the state of car 2, the car could automatic braking if necessary. VB simulation shows that the algorithm can effectively avoid collision, also automatically maintain the distance between vehicles, and lay a foundation for further research on the unmanned car.
