Abstract This report is devoted to the processing of the interference pattern of the tested mirror, obtained using the orthogonal ray scheme, where the convex testing surface is illuminated by a collimated beam, which is perpendicular to the optical axis of the surface. The interference pattern is created by two wavefronts, one of which is reflected from the mirror, while the other wavefront bypasses the mirror and travels directly to the detector plane. The result of interference pattern processing is a topography map formed by several tangential profiles. The proposed method is suited for large diameter convex spherical and aspherical mirrors and does not require a priori information of surface under the test, such as the vertex radius of curvature and the conical constant. Theoretical foundation of the data processing method are presented.

The major area of concern in the advancement of intelligent vehicles is to improve the safety of driving system. This paper comes up with a new way of using visual system for driving assistance by replacing convex mirror with wireless camera and sensors. The new system uses vehicle-to-vehicle OAS which contains both transmitter and receiver systems. It will assist the driver to avoid accidents during overtaking. This isa driver support system which helps you maintain the correct speed and safe distance from other vehicles. .It helps in reduction of accidents and provides safe journey on all weather conditions.

The implementation of the Collision Avoidance System is aimed to reduce the risks of collisions at the hairpin bend on a Hilly track, Ghats, or other Zero visibility turns The proposed system contains a set of proximity sensors, warning lights combined with a convex mirror is installed by the side of the road. Moreoverthis project is about the design and manufacturing of speed breaker power generator. In this project we are trying to utilize one such source. In this report we explain in detail the various stages of research, design and manufacturing which was involved in the construction of various components such as springs, generator, rack and pinion mechanism.

In the late 18th century, aesthetes would tour the countryside to view scenes in a device called the Claude Lorrain mirror. The Claude Lorrain mirror was a black convex mirror that was stored in a padded case. Viewers would set up the scene with great care, holding the mirror before them and looking at the scene behind them in reflection, as if arranging the shoot for a photograph. But there was no way that they could subsequently record the scene, since the samera had not yet been invented, and so they only had their memories of the image so carefully created. How did these devices work, and why did people use them?

This study aims to determine the description of students towards the use of ICT-based convex mirror material guidebooks. The population of this study was the students of the Jambi University physics education class program in 2018. The sampling technique used total sampling, so that the sample of this study was all physical education students at the University of Jambi with 105 students in class 2018 Indicators of observed process skills included the identification of variables, making tables data, Make a graph, Explain the relationship between variables, Obtain and process data, Analyze investigations, Make hypotheses, Identify variables by ovational, design experiments, and conduct experiments. Process skill data is measured through a basic physics practicum performance evaluation sheet, when practitioners conduct convex mirror practicum activities. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The analysis shows that the average Science Process Skills are categorized as good and very good, this shows that students have mastered the integrated Science Process Skills. The results of this study are expected to be a consideration for physics study programs to conduct related studies for other practicum subjects.
