<p>In this paper, we introduce an algorithm for solving variational inequalities problem with Lipschitz continuous and pseudomonotone mapping in Banach space. We modify the subgradient extragradient method with a new and simple iterative step size, and the strong convergence to a common solution of the variational inequalities and fixed point problems is established without the knowledge of the Lipschitz constant. Finally, a numerical experiment is given in support of our results.</p>

We study a strong convergence for a common fixed point of a finite family of quasi-Bregman nonexpansive mappings in the framework of real reflexive Banach spaces. As a consequence, convergence for a common fixed point of a finite family of Bergman relatively nonexpansive mappings is discussed. Furthermore, we apply our method to prove strong convergence theorems of iterative algorithms for finding a common solution of a finite family equilibrium problem and a common zero of a finite family of maximal monotone mappings. Our theorems improve and unify most of the results that have been proved for this important class of nonlinear mappings.

Iterative methods for solving variational inclusions and fixed-point problems have been considered and investigated by many scholars. In this paper, we use the Halpern-type method for finding a common solution of variational inclusions and fixed-point problems of pseudocontractive operators. We show that the proposed algorithm has strong convergence under some mild conditions.

Abstract In this paper, we introduce and study the class of demimetric mappings in CAT(0) spaces. We then propose a modified proximal point algorithm for approximating a common solution of a finite family of minimization problems and fixed point problems in CAT(0) spaces. Furthermore,we establish strong convergence of the proposed algorithm to a common solution of a finite family of minimization problems and fixed point problems for a finite family of demimetric mappings in complete CAT(0) spaces. A numerical example which illustrates the applicability of our proposed algorithm is also given. Our results improve and extend some recent results in the literature.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the extragradient methods for solving split feasibility problems, generalized equilibrium problems, and fixed point problems involved in nonexpansive mappings and pseudocontractive mappings. We establish the results of weak and strong convergence under appropriate conditions. As applications of our three main theorems, when the mappings and their domains take different types of cases, we can obtain nine iterative approximation theorems and corollas on fixed points, variational inequality solutions, and equilibrium points.
