A psychological assessment using biofeedback was performed for an adjustment disorder inpatient who showed less verbal and non-verbal expressions, and experienced difficulty in receiving favorable results from treatment. Although there is no universally recognized protocol for the evaluation of eating disorders, all specialists agree that a broad-spectrum evaluation is needed, given the multidetermined nature of this pathology. Therapeutic intervention, supportive psychotherapy and CBT, have as main objective cognitive restructuring, identifying and addresing psychological causes that cause, precede and trigger eating disorders - anorexia nervosa. Aim: To identify the role of psychotherapy and the entire interdisciplinary team in the treatment of anorexia nervosa. Case description: We present a case report of a 15-yearold girl diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, where I applied CBT. This case confirms by the objectives achieved, that CBT has a primordial role, in interrupting the vicious circle, somatic symptom- psychic-pseudo somatic symptom and to restore the emotional balance of the patient diagnosed with anorexia nervosa. Conclusion: Compliance with psychiatric treatment increases, by addressing psychotherapy, as a clinical intervention, in the treatment of this complex condition.

Adjustment disorder research has not yet disclosed the relationship of anxiety and depression symptoms with gender and age. It is assumed that emotional reactions are related to individual characteristics of personality and stressors that influence social adjustment. The goal of this study was to determine the expression of anxiety and depression symptoms in psychological assessment of adjustment disorders. Methods. 153 psychological assessment protocols of hospitalized adjustment disorder patients were analyzed retrospectively. MMPI-2 and Luscher color test data was analyzed. Results. Women attribute significantly more anxiety symptoms to themselves than men (p = 0,023). Hypothondriasis and Depression scale elevations dominate in men and women‘s profiles that indicate difficulties in identifying emotional experiences, especially anxiety, and possible somatization of anxiety. Depression symptoms are attributed to oneself most commonly. Experiences of anxiety dominate in a projective test. Men tend to cover anxiety by strengthening self-control, emphasizing their independency and self-confidence, when women tend to withdraw. Conclusions. Objective test determined self-attributed depression symptoms and somewhat anxiety. Projective test determined anxiety and no depression symptoms. The behavior is mostly determined by anxiety rather than depression symptoms. The expression of anxiety differs depending on gender and age.

Purpose: The purpose of writing this case report is to determine the importance of patient treatment using appropriate and specific therapies and the use of mechanical ventilation in the threat of respiratory failure of patients with GBS. Methodology: We presented a case of 47 years old man with chief complaint of weakness in both upper and lower extremities. The patient was diagnosed with GBS and plasmapheresis was performed. Findings: Holistic intensive care together with plasmapheresis has been shown to improve the survival of patients with GBS. In the current study, the patient was admitted for 1 day in HCU before he experienced difficulty in breathing, was intubated, and transferred to ICU. Plasmapheresis was performed six times in the ICU. The patient progressively improved until he was discharged to the HCU on 10th day of ICU admission. Unique contribution to theory, practice, and policy: Holistic intensive care together with plasmapheresis has been shown to improve the survival of patients with GBS. From the current study, we recommend healthcare practitioners to perform either IVIG therapy or plasmapheresis for GBS patient
