Abstract: Seven species of terrestrial isopods are recorded from the coasts of the Pacific and Caribbean sides of Costa Rica. Three species (Buchnerillo neotropicalis, Hawaiioscia nicoyaensis and Trichorhina biocellata) are described as new and two species (Tylos niveus and Armadilloniscus cf. caraibicus) are newly recorded from the country. The poorly known species T. niveus is also illustrated. At present the total number of terrestrial isopod species recorded from Costa Rica is 30. Interestingly four typical littoral halophilic species (Ligia baudiniana, Tylos wegeneri, T. niveus and A. cf. caraibicus) are present on both the Pacific coast of Costa Rica and on the coasts of the lands encompassed by the Caribbean Sea. With the sole exception of A. cf. caraibicus, no morphological differences could be detected from the Pacific and Caribbean populations of those species. Rev. Biol. Trop. 66(Suppl. 1): S187-S210. We revise the Cuban species of Eiphosoma Cresson (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae: Cremastinae). Three new species are described: E. bioeco sp. nov., E. dearmasi sp. nov. and E. nelitae sp. nov. All species are assigned to species-groups as defined by Gauld (2000) for the Mesoamerican fauna, and a key to Cuban species is provided. A preliminary analysis of the distribution and faunal similarity for species within the Cuban archipelago is discussed; the Cuban fauna is compared to that of the Caribbean Islands, Florida (USA) and Costa Rica.

The genus Robinsonia Grote, 1866 is partially reviewed following a large DNA barcode campaign. In the Robinsonia praphoea Dognin, 1906 group three new species are described: R. simulans sp. n. from French Guiana, up to now confused with R. praphoea itself and then R. decaensi sp. n. and R. maranhensis sp. n. both from the lower Amazon. R. drechseli sp. n. is described from Paraguay and R. inexpectata sp. n., a species close to R. mera (Schaus, 1910) from Costa Rica, is described as new from Peru and Bolivia. Finally the full species status is confirmed for R. flavicorpus Dognin, 1910 which is found to be differentiable from R. marginata Rothschild, 1909. All types are figured along with the male genitalia for most and some female genitalia for all studied species.

The taxonomy of the Nearctic Nylanderia fauna is revised. Three new species are established, bringing the total numberof native species from the region to 14. The new species are: N. magnella, N. querna, and N. trageri. Several speciespossess workers that are difficult to distinguish from each other and the presence of males is required for morphologicalidentification. This is particularly the case with N. vividula and N. terricola. Two subspecies are synonymized: N. vividulamjobergi is considered a junior synonym of N. vividula and N. vividula antillana is considered a junior synonym of N.guatemalensis. At least five Nylanderia species have been introduced to the Nearctic region, including: N. bourbonica,N. flavipes, N. fulva, N. pubens, and N. steinheili. Another species, N. guatemalensis, is also included because its widedistribution across the Caribbean and Central America suggest it could become introduced to the Nearctic region. Iden-tification keys are provided for the workers of native and introduced species and the males of native species. Distributionmaps are provided for native and introduced species. Photomontage images are provided for the worker of each introduced species and all castes of the native species.

Dentalion gen. nov. (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae: Entedoninae), is described from the northern part of the Neotropical region, from Costa Rica to Ecuador and Brazil, and the Caribbean (Trinidad & Tobago). It comprises eleven new species: D. alveum, D. ambonatum, D. apertum, D. apon, D. crassicornis, D. jimenezi, D. mischum, D. noyesi, D. pinguicornis, D. pnigaliae, D. quadrifer. These species are diagnosed, described and illustrated, and a key for their identification is provided. Dentalion is characterized by two putative autapomorphies and two synapomorphies. The phylogenetic implications of these apomorphies are discussed briefly.

Telebasis rojinegra sp. nov. was recorded from ponds at La Selva Biological Station and three other sites in the Caribbean lowlands of Costa Rica. The new species appears closely related to T. boomsmae Garrison, 1994 recorded from Mexico, Belize and Costa Rica, T. collopistes Calvert, 1902 ranging from Mexico to Honduras, and T. garrisoni Bick & Bick, 1995 from South America, but differs in having straighter and more elongate paraprocts and a half black pattern on the rear of the head. The female mesostigmal plates are also distinct from the above species. Telebasis rojinegra was active on the water primarily during afternoon hours.

The Syrphidae genus Domodon Reemer, 2013 so far included two species, D. zodiacus Reemer, 2013 and D. peperpotensis Reemer, 2014, both recorded only from Suriname. Additional specimens belonging to this genus have been collected in many other localities in South and Central America. In this paper, the genus is revised and three new species are described: D. caxiuana sp. nov. (northern South America), D. inaculeatus sp. nov. (northern South America), and D. sensibilis sp. nov. (Costa Rica). The distribution of D. peperpotensis is extended to include French Guiana. Photographs of the type material of the new species and illustrations of male genitalia of all species are provided, as well as a key to species.
