Researchers have used either average correlation or the percentage of objects correctly predicted in assessing the accuracy of attitude models. Because the two measures are not directly comparable, the ability to contrast results from different studies is obviated. A method is presented for computing the average Spearman correlation coefficient directly from confusion matrices.

Caricature-plant cultivation is often damaged due to the attack of Doleschallia bisaltide larvae. High reproduction ability of D. bisaltide is a serious problem that need to be managed, therefore it will not inflict a financial losses. This study was aimed to determine the fluctuation of D. bisaltide larval population in the caricature-plant plantation in Kalisoro, Tawangmangu. The observations were carried out with a survey method on five observation plots for seven months from March to September 2018. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and the Spearman rank correlation coefficient test. The results showed that the population structure was changed during the observations with the highest larval population in May. The results of Spearman rank correlation coefficient test showed significant and positive correlation between third, fourth, and fifth instars larvae with the rainfall. The control of D. bisaltide can not only depend on the presence of natural enemies, therefore control interventions were needed especially at a suitable time and environment whne the population increased.

Abstract Context 11β-Hydroxyandrostenedione (11OHA4), 11β-hydroxytestosterone (11OHT), and their respective peripheral derivatives, 11-ketoandrostenedione (11KA4) and 11-ketotesosterone (11KT), have been implicated in androgen-related physiopathology. Little is known of these steroids in postmenopausal women or whether exogenous testosterone therapy influences their levels. Objective The impact of exogenous testosterone on serum levels of 11-oxygenated steroids was determined in healthy postmenopausal women. Participants and Methods Levels of 19-carbon (C19) steroids were measured by liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry in serum obtained at baseline and at 12 and 26 weeks from 73 healthy postmenopausal women, aged 55 to 65 years, who participated in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial assessing the effects of transdermal testosterone on cognitive performance. Results Of the 11-oxygenated androgens, 11OHA4 was the most abundant (median, 6.46 nmol/L; range, 1.51 to 23.82 nmol/L), with concentrations several fold greater than its precursor androstenedione (median, 1.38 nmol/L; range, 0.52 to 2.92 nmol/L). Baseline median (range) testosterone and 11KT levels were similar [0.56 (0.23 to 1.48) nmol/L; 0.85 (0.25 to 2.86) nmol/L, respectively). 11OHT was closely correlated with 11KT (Spearman rank correlation coefficient, 0.79; P < 0.001) and 11OHA4 correlated with 11KA4 (Spearman rank correlation coefficient, 0.73; P < 0.001). Testosterone therapy resulted in an increase in serum testosterone level, whereas all 11-oxygenated androgens remained unchanged throughout the 26 weeks of treatment. Conclusion After menopause, the adrenal production of 11-oxygenated derivatives of androstenedione and testosterone contributes importantly to the total circulating androgen pool. Exogenous testosterone does not influence the circulating levels 11-oxygenated C19 steroids.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between location and the decision to purchase a subsidy at PT. Graha Estetika Property Bengkulu and to find out the relationship of promotion with the decision to purchase a subsidized house at PT. Graha Estetika Property Bengkulu. The method of analysis uses Spearman rank correlation and hypothesis testing. Spearman rank correlation coefficient on location relationship (X1) with subsidized house purchase decision (Y) at PT. The Bengkel Property Aesthetic Graha is known that the value of rho count = 0.85 means the relationship between the location and the decision to purchase a subsidy at PT. Bengkulu's Graha Estetika Property is very strong, because the correlation value is in the coefficient interval of 0.800 - 1,000. The value of the Spearman rank correlation coefficient on the relationship of promotion (X2) with the decision to purchase a subsidized house (Y) at PT. Bengkel Property Aesthetic Graha is known the value of rho count = 0.68 the meaning of the promotion relationship with the purchase of a house subsidy decision at PT. Bengkulu's Graha Aesthetic Property is strong, because the correlation value is in the coefficient interval of 0.600 - 799.

Σκοπός της παρούσης διδακτορικής διατριβής είναι η εκτίμηση της αξίας των ASSR στην ακοολογική αξιολόγηση, κυρίως μικρών παιδιών αλλά και εφήβων που δεν συνεργάζονται για τονικό ακοόγραμμα. Μελετήσαμε 119 παιδιά και εφήβους ηλικιακού εύρους από 1 μήνα μέχρι 18 ετών, με μέση ηλικία τα 2,7 έτη και διάμεσο τα 2,3 έτη. Οι ασθενείς εξετάζονταν με πλήρη ΩΡΛ εξέταση, τυμπανόγραμμα, παροδικά προκλητές ωτoακουστικές εκπομπές (ΤΕΟΑΕ) και αυτόματα ABR (a-ABR). Λεπτομερές ιατρικό και οικογενειακό ιστορικό συμπληρωνόταν από όλους τους ασθενείς. Τα παιδιά που αποτύγχαναν τον αρχικό έλεγχο, ακολούθως υποβάλλονταν σε εξέταση πάλι με TEOAE, αλλά και ABR και ASSR (90Hz-sleeping child mode), υπό ύπνωση με χλωράλη (1mg/Kgr, μέγιστη δόση 1,5 mg/Kgr) ή υδροξική υδροξιζίνη 10mgr/5ml (για μεγαλύτερα παιδιά). Τα αποτελέσματα παρουσίασαν μια εντυπωσιακή συσχέτιση μεταξύ των ουδών από τα ABR και τα ASSR σε όλες τις συχνότητες (500, 1000, 2000, 4000 Hz) με Spearman Rank Correlation Coefficient από 0.83 έως 0.87. Υπήρχε μια ελαφρά υψηλότερη συσχέτιση στις συχνότητες πάνω από τα 500 Hz. Όλοι οι συσχετισμοί ήταν στατιστικά σημαντικοί με p<0.0001. Τα κύρια συμπεράσματα παρουσιάζονται ως εξής: •τα ASSR πλεονεκτούν έναντι των ABR στο ότι είναι αντικειμενική και όχι υποκειμενική εκτίμηση των ακουστικών ουδών •τα ASSR επίσης πλεονεκτούν έναντι των ABR στο ότι μπορούμε να καταγράψουμε περισσότερες από μια απαντήσεις την ίδια στιγμή. Mέχρι και οκτώ ερεθίσματα (τέσσερις τόνοι σε κάθε αυτί) μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν για να προκαλέσουν ταυτόχρονα ΑSSR. Όμως σε πολύ σοβαρές βαρηκοΐες 80 db και πάνω πρέπει κάθε αυτί και συχνότητα να γίνεται ξεχωριστά •τα ASSR συμπληρώνουν τα ABR σε σημείο που πολλές φορές τα κάνουν απαραίτητα για τη σωστή διάγνωση και αντιμετώπιση των παιδιών που έχουν προβλήματα ακοής ή των ενηλίκων που δεν συνεργάζονται για τις υποκειμενικές εξετάσεις •η σωστή εφαρμογή των ακουστικών βαρηκοΐας απαιτεί ουδούς σε 4 βασικές συχνότητες που τα ABR αδυνατούν να δώσουν τις σχετικές πληροφορίες, ενώ τα ASSR μπορούν •η μεγάλη στατιστική συσχέτιση ABR και ASSR υποδεικνύει τη μεγάλη αξιοπιστία των ASSR στην ακοολογική αξιολόγηση μικρών παιδιών και ενηλίκων που δεν συνεργάζονται για τονικό ακοόγραμμα.

Context: Predicting when an athlete can return to sport after muscle injury is a major concern. Objective: To determine whether combining objective clinical and ultrasound findings at presentation accurately predicted time to sport resumption in athletes with muscle injuries. Design: Cohort study. Setting: Sports medicine clinic. Patients or Other Participants: A total of 93 consecutive patients, 87 male and 6 female, were seen over a 1-year period for sudden-onset muscle pain while engaging in a sporting activity within the last 5 days and inability to continue the training session or game. Intervention(s): Standardized physical examination and sonogram. Main Outcome Measure(s): Statistical associations between clinical and sonographic features at presentation and time to sport resumption (&lt;40 days or ≥40 days) were evaluated using multivariate models. Correlations between time to sport resumption predicted by a sports medicine specialist and actual time to sport resumption were evaluated using the Spearman rank correlation coefficient. Results: The 93 patients had 95 injuries, caused by muscle contraction in 86 cases and impact in 9 cases. Only 7 injuries had normal sonogram findings. Late sport resumption was associated with 4 clinical criteria (bruising, tenderness to palpation, range-of-motion limitation compared with the other limb, and increased pain with isometric contraction during passive limb straightening) and 4 sonographic criteria (disorganized fibrous tissue, intramuscular hematoma, intermuscular hematoma, and power Doppler signal). The Spearman rank correlation coefficient between predicted and actual times was 0.669 (P &lt; .0001) for mild exercise resumption and 0.804 (P &lt; .0001) for full sport resumption. Conclusion: A combination of physical and sonographic data collected during the acute phase of sport-related muscle injury was effective in predicting time to sport resumption.
