People above 65 years of age would amount to 10.7% of total population of India by 2021. India has acquired the label of ‘an ageing nation’ with 7.7% of its population being more than 60 years old. Geriatric patients are exposed to potentially inappropriate medications (PIMs) thus strategies to improve quality of life and safety of prescribing is needed. One such explicit criteria tool is ‘Screening Tool of Older person’s Potentially inappropriate Prescriptions’ (STOPP) criteria. For older individuals, frailty plays a decisive role. Frailty assessment is useful for identification of risk stratifications to assist in clinical decision makings. Hence, this study is aimed to assess the percentage of PIM using STOPP criteria and correlation between PIMS and Frailty Index (FI) in elderly patients in our setting. An observational study was done in 60 patients in department of medicine at tertiary care teaching hospital. Demographic details, diagnosis and current medications were recorded in Microsoft excel 2016. PIMs based on STOPP criteria version 2 and FI suggested by Searle et al. was calculated and analyzed. Spearman rank correlation test was used to check the correlation between FI and PIM. Out of 60 prescriptions, 21 prescriptions with PIM were found. Most common drugs prescribed as PIM were Aspirin, calcium, ceftriaxone, multivitamin B complex and furosemide. FI was analyzed by using 34 variables. Value of FI was between 0.03 to 0.17. Spearman Rank correlation test showed direct low degree of significant correlation between FI and PIM with correlation (r) value of 0.1602 (P value=0.02). 35% of prescriptions were having at least one PIM in our study and we found that there was direct association between FI and PIM which will help us to reduce potential medication errors, drug interactions and adverse reactions.

Background: Tinnitus is a rather prevalent, quite heterogeneous, and difficult to treat auditory disorder. The aim of this article is to provide the design and results of a cross-sectional study related to audiological and tinnitus features in a group of 170 Spanish patients. Methods: Audiometric characteristics were assessed on the basis of the pure-tone audiometry of both ears in 170 tinnitus patients and 85 control subjects. The audiometric status of each tinnitus participant was assessed on the basis of the average auditory threshold (AAT) in the whole frequency range (from 125 Hz to 8 kHz), and low (from 125 Hz to 2 kHz) and high (from 3 kHz to 8 kHz)-frequency intervals. Tinnitus features were evaluated through personal interview with patients and included tinnitus duration, laterality, pitch, sound, and distress (Tinnitus Handicap Inventory, THI). Correlational analysis was carried out between audiological (AAT) and tinnitus (THI) variables. Results: A very weak Spearman rank correlation factor is found between both variables. Conclusions: The subjective outcome of tinnitus distress (THI) was not correlated with the objective measure of hearing loss (AAT) in our cohort.

Dynamic characteristics of social networks users' behavior represent the toolkit for diagnosing the character and orientation of cyber communication. This study aims to analyze the communicative behavior of youth after transitioning directly from direct communication to communication via technology for the purpose of defining opportunities and determining manipulation potential on communicants. Sixty-two (62) active participants of social networks were selected to answer the questions of the questionnaire. Further, on the grounds of the provided statistics of their accounts, quantitative characteristics of dynamics of cyber communication of participants' communicative behavior were analyzed using descriptive statistics and r-criterion of Spearman rank correlation. From the results, decrease in the level of intellectual communication of the youth in cyberspace provides a high level of the youth manipulative availability in social networks. Hypotheses about measurability of dynamic characteristics of cyber communication, as well as the communication vector shift from small groups into big ones were confirmed. Keywords: dynamic characteristics of communication, cyber communication, social networks, meme, repost, post.

Empowerment of Women Farmers Groups (KWT) through the utilization of yardland is one way to improve the quality of life and women's independence. The purpose of the study is to describe, analyze, and formulate a strategy for empowering KWT through the use of yard land for healthy vegetable cultivation in Bojonggambir District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The number of samples was determined by the total sampling method. The results of descriptive analysis describe the characteristics of KWT on age (productive), education (low), length of farming (high), yard area (narrow), and all external factors (medium). The related factors are the area of the yard, the role of agricultural extension workers, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure. The strategy is in the form of extension activities with descriptive analysis to determine the material and Spearman Rank correlation to optimize factors related to empowerment, namely the area of yards (sig .044), availability of facilities and infrastructure (sig .037), and the role of extension workers (sig .000).

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and geography learning outcomes in class XII Islamic Senior High School Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar. This research is a type of quantitative research with the Spearman Rank correlation method. The data collection technique  uses a  questionnaire.  The  sampling  technique  in this study  used a saturated sampling technique with a total of 25 respondents. For learning outcomes data is taken from the grade XII student report cards in the geography subject. The results of the analysis of emotional intelligence data are included in the medium category with an average value = 107.84 at intervals 103–110, for geography learning outcomes are included in the low category with an average value = 83.52 at intervals 81-84, to prove whether or not there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and geography learning outcomes, it can be seen from the calculation obtained using the Spearman Rank correlation formula, where the value of rs =0.037, with a significant value of 0.861. Because sig > 0.05, it can be concluded that emotional intelligence does not have a significant relationship with geography learning outcomes and the relationship is included in the very low category.

The issue of teaching physical education in secondary schools has already received wide coverage in various scientific studies. Until recently, insufficient attention has been paid to the topic of studying the motives of physical culture and sports, including attending lessons on "Physical culture". The purpose of the article is to study the perceptions of the residents of territorial communities about the motives of schoolchildren's participation in "Physical Culture" lessons. Organization of the study. The study was conducted in 8 territorial communities of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Kharkiv regions. Respondents numbering 1,089 people (674 students and 415 adults) were involved. Peculiarities of adults 'and high school students' ideas about the motives of schoolchildren's participation in "Physical Culture" lessons were studied with the help of specially prepared questions. The calculation of the correlation between the representations of adults and students was performed using the Spearman rank correlation coefficient ρ. Result. Significant differences in the perceptions of the respondents regarding the motives of participation of schoolchildren of different communities in the lessons on "Physical Culture" are proved. At the same time, the calculation of the correlation between the perceptions of adults and students by the coefficient of rank correlation ρ Spearman in the Cirkunov community has an index of 0,2, which indicates a weak positive relationship between the perceptions of adults and students. Whereas in the Stepnogorsk community this indicator is 0,93, which indicates a strong positive relationship between the perceptions of adults and students.

Background: Secreted frizzled-related protein 2 (sFRP2) plays an important role in metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs); However, its relevance with cardiometabolic diseases remains to be elucidated. We aimed to determine the serum levels of sFRP2 in patients at different stages of heart failure (HF) with or without type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), and assess the correlation between circulating sFRP2 levels and cardiometabolic risk factors. Methods: In this study, serum samples from 277 patients visiting Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University were collected. These patients were clinically diagnosed and categorized as five groups, including the control group, pre-clinical HF group, pre-clinical HF+T2DM group, HF group and HF+T2DM group. Serum sFRP2 levels were measured with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) tests and the clinical characteristics of each patient were recorded. Spearman rank correlation analysis and multiple stepwise linear regression analysis were conducted. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis were performed to screen risk factors for HF in patients with CVDs.Results: Serum sFRP2 levels were significantly lower in the HF+T2DM group compared with the other four groups. Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that sFRP2 was negatively correlated with parameters including patients' age, fasting plasma glucose (FPG), glycated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), cardiac troponin T (cTNT), N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), left atrial dimension (LAD) and left ventricular posterior wall (LVPW), and positively correlated with hemoglobin, estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), albumin, total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). However, in multiple regression analysis, significant associations with ln(sFRP2) were observed only in FPG, hs-CRP and LAD. Higher serum sFRP2 was significantly linked to lower odds of HF in patients with CVDs.Conclusion: sFRP2 progressively decreased when glucose homeostasis and cardiac function deteriorated. sFRP2 acted as a risk factor for HF in patients with CVDs, especially in those with concomitant T2DM.

This research was conducted with the aim of helping decide the destination country for overseas exhibitions at the Batik Hatta Boutique. By knowing all the data and information of a country, boutique owners can decide which country to visit in the batik exhibition. Because if you attend the cast in all countries, there will be overruns in costs. The methods used are AHP and MAUT. The AHP method is used as a weighting using a linguistic value scale. Weights are obtained from the pairwise comparison matrix between two elements of all elements that occur at the same hierarchical level. The MAUT method is used to determine the importance of each alternative for the ranking process. The results of this study indicate that Cambodia was chosen as the location to be visited for the batik exhibition. The results of the validation using the Spearman Rank correlation comparison obtained a value of 0.951 meaning that this method can be used as a decision making.
