The problem of the effect of a normal harmonic force on a porous beam in a 3D formulation is solved using the boundary-element method. A homogeneous fully saturated elastic porous medium is described using Biot’s mathematical model. The effect of the porosity and permeability parameters on the deflection of the beam and the distribution of pore pressure over the beam thickness is investigated. The comparison of the boundary-element solution with a 2D numerical-analytical one is given.

In the present work creeping three-dimensional flows of a viscous liquid in a cylindrical tube and a channel of variable cross-section are studied. A qualitative triangulation of the surface of a cylindrical tube, a smoothed and experimental channel of a variable cross section is constructed. The problem is solved numerically using boundary element method in several modifications for a periodic and non-periodic flows. The obtained numerical results are compared with the analytical solution for the Poiseuille flow.

In this work the 3D dynamics of two immiscible liquids in unbounded domain at low Reynolds numbers is considered. The numerical method is based on the boundary element method, which is very efficient for simulation of the three-dimensional problems in infinite domains. To accelerate calculations and increase the problem size, a heterogeneous approach to parallelization of the computations on the central (CPU) and graphics (GPU) processors is applied. To accelerate the iterative solver (GMRES) and overcome the limitations associated with the size of the memory of the computation system, the software component of the matrix-vector product

With the increase of the number of loaded goods, the number of optional loading schemes will increase exponentially. It is a long time and low efficiency to determine the loading scheme with experience. Genetic algorithm is a search heuristic algorithm used to solve optimization in the field of computer science artificial intelligence. Genetic algorithm can effectively select the optimal loading scheme but unable to utilize weight and volume capacity of cargo and truck. In this paper, we propose hybrid Genetic and fuzzy logic based cargo-loading decision making model that focus on achieving maximum profit with maximum utilization of weight and volume capacity of cargo and truck. In this paper, first of all, the components of the problem of goods stowage in the distribution center are analyzed systematically, which lays the foundation for the reasonable classification of the problem of goods stowage and the establishment of the mathematical model of the problem of goods stowage. Secondly, the paper abstracts and defines the problem of goods loading in distribution center, establishes the mathematical model for the optimization of single car three-dimensional goods loading, and designs the genetic algorithm for solving the model. Finally, Matlab is used to solve the optimization model of cargo loading, and the good performance of the algorithm is verified by an example. From the performance evaluation analysis, proposed the hybrid system achieve better outcomes than the standard SA model, GA method, and TS strategy.

An approach to developing a general technique for constructing reduced-order models of unsteady flows about three-dimensional complex geometries is presented. The boundary element method along with the potential flow is used to analyze unsteady flows over two-dimensional airfoils, three-dimensional wings, and wing-body configurations. Eigenanalysis of unsteady flows over a NACA 0012 airfoil, a three-dimensional wing with the NACA 0012 section and a wing-body configuration is performed in time domain based on the unsteady boundary element formulation. Reduced-order models are constructed with and without the static correction. The numerical results demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the present method in reduced-order modeling of unsteady flows over complex configurations.
