Implementasi Metode TOPSIS dalam Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Seleksi Penerima Beasiswa Bidikmisi Berbasis Web

Penggunaan sistem pendukung keputusan dapat meningkatkan proses penilaian dalam seleksi Beasiswa bidikmisi sehingga dapat mengurangi subjektivitas pengambilan keputusan. Keputusan ini di dukung oleh beberapa kriteria sehingga dapat terpilih penerima beasiswa bidikmisi sesuai dengan kuota yang telah diberikan Kemenristek Dikti.Penelitian ini berbentuk studi kasus dengan metode research and development yang subjek penelitiannya adalah Politeknik Negeri Pontianak. Sistem pendukung keputusan untuk seleksi penerima beasiswa bidikmisi menggunakan metode TOPSIS berbasis web dengan menggunakan basis data MySQL dan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Metode perancangan aplikasi sistem pengambilan keputusan seleksi penerima beasiswa bidikmisi menggunakan metode Agile dengan pendekatan Extreme Programming yang memiliki tahapan antara lain Planning, Design, Coding, dan Testing yang menggunakan pendekatan Object-Oriented dengan sistem pemodelannya menggunakan UML. Hasil implementasi Metode TOPSIS dalam sistem pendukung keputusan seleksi penerima beasiswa bidikmisi berbasis web menampilkan fitur menu pendaftaran calon peserta bidikmisi, menu pengisian kriteria, menu penilaian calon peserta, menu hasil penilaian, menu kelola kriteria, menu kelola alternatif kriteria dan menu kelola pemakai. Selain itu, hasil implementasi memberikan objektivitas dan kemudahan bagi panitia dalam penilaian dan perankingan. Hasil pengujian juga menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode TOPSIS sebagai alternatif pengambilan keputusan dalam seleksi penerima beasiswa bidikmisi dapat menyaring 20% penerima beasiswa bidikmisi yang seharusnya tidak layak mendapatkan beasiswa tersebut.The use of decision support system can enhance the assessment process of bidikmisi scholarship selection, so that it may reduce the subjectivity in decision making. This decision system is supported by some criteria, so that the reciplent of bidikmisi scholarship can be selected accordance to the provided quota by Kemenristek Dikti. This is a case study research with research and development method where research participant is State Polytechnic School of Pontianak. TOPSIS method is used in decision support system for bidikmisi scholarship acceptance selection web-based using MySQL based data and PHP language program. The application design method of decision support system of bidikmisi scholarship selection recipients use agile method of Extreme Programming approach which steps of Planning, Design, Coding and Testing of object-Oriented approach with UML. The result of TOPSIS method application in decision support system of bidikmisi scholarship selection recipients web-based display fitur menu of bidikmisi candidate registration, prospective participants charging criteria, candidate assessment menu, the assessment result menu, management criteria menu, alternative governance criteria and the user governance menu. Basides, the result of the implememtation gives objectivities and ease for the committee in the assessment and ranking. The test results also show that the use TOPSIS method as an alternative decision-making in the selection of awardees bidikmisi can filter 20 % scholarship bidikmisi that should not be eligible for the scholarship.

Decision support system is a system adopted from human knowledge, which can help people in the decision making process. In research conducted at PT Coal Bukit Asam (Persero) authors see most of the systems currently used in the search process of promotion of employees still in manual form, causing the length of the assessment process associated with a promotion for every employee of the company in accordance with any the criteria that have been specified company. Various weighting of criteria and sub criteria established companies are always considered manager to each process of inputting assessment. Therefore, the authors make a decision support system application manager that can facilitate the process of inputting weight rating decision promotion of employees in accordance with the criteria and sub-criteria that have been specified company. Application decision support system of promotion is designed using Analytical Hierarchy Process that the process to obtain the priority weighting is done by comparing each criteria and sub-criteria. Decision to be achieved can help managers to determine who the employees are entitled to a promotion in accordance with keptusan obtained from the application of this decision-making system.

Decision Support System is an interactive system that supports decision in the decision-making process through alternatives derived from the processing of data, information and design of the models. Selection decision support system of chemical fertilizer in fruit plant is expected to help anyone who wants to cultivate fruit trees can determine the chemical fertilizer as expected based alternatives and criteria set by the user. In this research method used is TOPSIS Method and Method of Fuzzy Logic. TOPSIS method is one of multiple criteria decision making method that uses the principle that the alternatives selected must have the shortest distance. Fuzzy Logic is a methodology of control systems troubleshooting, the fuzzy logic stated that everything is a binary which means it is only two possibilities, "Yes or No", "True or False", "Good or Bad", and others. Therefore, all of these can have a membership value of 0 or 1.

Aiming to augment the quality of decision making in vessel dismantling, this paper presents an innovative decision support system that takes into account the diversity of the associated constraints to aid stakeholders handle issues such as the appropriateness of a disposal methodology or the level of safety in a dismantling yard. Being seamlessly integrated with an advanced simulation environment, the system also facilitates the collaborative design of dismantling processes.

Good database design generates effective operational databases through which we can track customers, sales, inventories, and other variables of interest. The main reason for generating, storing, and managing good data is to enhance the decision-making process. The tool used during this process is the decision support system (DSS). The information requirements of the DSS have become so complex, that it is difficult for it to extract all the necessary information from the data structures typically found in operational databases. For this reason, a new storage facility called a data warehouse has been developed. Data in the data warehouse have characteristics that are quite distinct from those in the operational database (Rob & Coronel, 2002).

Activities in the selection of candidates for PASKIBRAKA every year aim to find the best sons and daughters who will be assigned as heirloom flag raisers. Selection of candidates for PASKIBRAKA members is done manually, to determine the final score of each participant. The selection committee still uses paper and is separate from the assessment to one criterion with the other criteria. In the assessment process with a large number of participants it will take a long time. To simplify the assessment process, a decision support system is needed for the selection of PASKIBRAKA candidates, using the TOPSIS Method (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution). TOPSIS is one method that is easy to use to solve multi-criteria problems by taking into account the values ​​of existing criteria. Based on the results of the case example, the candidate PASKIBRAKA selection shows that the results of the experiment use the same system as the manual calculation. And the calculation of the TOPSIS Method will produce output in the form of ranking from PAKIBRAKA candidates

This study aims to solve problems in the recruitment of prospective BEM members at Labuhan Batu University. To select a competent member of the Labuhan Batu University Student Executive Board (BEM) organization, several stages of selection were carried out. However, decision making in recruitment isprone to collusion and nepotism at the student level on campus. To overcome this, a decision support system (DSS) for the recruitment of BEM members was designed using the SAW and TOPSIS methods. The DSS is designed using criteria, namely: GPA, Interview Score, Support Certificate, Organizational Experience and Commitment with weights for each criterion are 10, 20, 20, 30, 30.The result of this study is a decision support system using the TOPSIS method and SAW. The two best alternatives obtained from the ranking results using these two methods are alternatives with numbers A7 and A8. Keywords: Decision Support System, Selection, SAW, TOPSIS, Method
