Abstract Originally from the Republic of Moldova, the composer Tudor Chiriac built his entire work of art on several key concepts such as ancestrality, identity, “music from notes” (a concept that belongs to him), ethos, modernity, tradition, etc., which we find both in his music and in his reflections, musical principles and beliefs assumed over time. Tudor Chiriac achieved in his creation what he set out to do, regardless of the public’s preferences or other opinions, an aspect that emphasizes once again his compositional “belief”, from which he did not abdicate. In this study we aim to highlight the technical and expressive means by which the author capitalises on the concept of ancestrality in the work Doinatoriu – Opus Sacrum Dacicum: from generating a new musical genre to exploring matrix symbols of Romanian culture. Connected to the universal ancestral inheritances, but especially to those belonging to the Romanian geographical space, the composer stands out by the originality of the musical construction, of the particular timbre associations, as well as through a unique ideational conception. Concerned especially with the meaning of the music he writes, the author explores sounds particularly “alive” and fresh in the context of Romanian musical culture, meant to complete his compositional vision, as well as to strengthen the perspective of the musical aesthetics he has adopted over time.

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the issues related to the clarification of the essence and legal construction of the surface right/ superficies, as initially regulated by the Moldovan legislator (until 01.03.2019), due to the fact that in the local literature there were different opinions with reference to this subject, which, consequently, led to the equivocal interpretation of the norms of law in the same matter, and this interpretation, respectively, offered different solutions of practical application of the norms regarding the institution of superficies. Thus, in this paper was analyzed the evolution of the right of superficies over time and highlighted the premises that led to the change of several rules governing the institution of superficies, but also the concept of real estate, in general.

Abstract Most buildings of historical and architectural value located in the Republic of Moldova are built of limestone or brick. The facades are decorated with columns, semi-columns and pilasters, balusters, bas-relief, and consoles. The degradation of historic buildings over time leads to the need for rehabilitation and restoration. Often privately owned buildings are repaired with the application of modern materials without taking into account the original materials, without researching the original elements and materials. Authentic decorative elements are replaced by polyurethane foam elements, which due to their easy installation and relatively low cost, can significantly reduce the financial costs of finishing and decorating facades. The interior walls of the brick are covered with plasterboard. The exterior walls of limestone are plastered with cement-based mortar instead of lime-based mortar. In some cases, the walls were covered with polystyrene. All these replacements reduce the architectural and historical value of the buildings lead to the loss of their authenticity. In order to preserve the value of historic buildings, it is necessary to use local materials. This research examines the possibilities of using limestone both for the rehabilitation of masonry and for the restoration of the decorative elements of buildings built in the XVIII-XX centuries.

Ecaterina Ajder, representative of the early `80s of plastic artists from the Republic of Moldova, constantly opts for endowing the work of art with innovative stylistic values. Plastic tradition and modernity originally connect in her creation, contributing to the generation of current messages through image. Preferring to materialize her thematic and plastic predilections in the genre of artistic tapestry and easel painting, Ecaterina Ajder has drawn and consolidated over the decades her unmistakable stylistic facet, in which the insurmountable landmarks of folk art have found a favorable artistic fulfillment and integration into relevant contemporary creative trends. In the artistic tapestry, the painter significantly capitalized both the aesthetic expressions obtained from the classic weaving, and from combining it with various techniques such as felt and embroidery. When referring to the easel painting she highlighted the traditional aspects of structural-constructive constitution of the image field and, at the same time, the impressive artistic expressions, obtained after practicing mixed techniques, giving priority to the collage methodology. In the artist’s creation, both the conceptualization and aesthetic interpretation of the theme, as well as the way of operating with plastic means imminently contribute to the demarcation and supplementing of the semantic area of the work with high value expressions.
