The significant change in the consumption pattern of Indonesia’s modernising society––further intensified by the Indonesian Government’s plan to push towards the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, has fostered the need for manufacturing companies to create newly automated processes and make the transition to become a digitalised business entity. Enterprise Resource Planning is a software that enables the creation of integration and automation of business processes between various departments within a company, thus creating an effective business strategy. The data that has been acquired from research at a poultry processing company are then being mapped into the ERP software of Odoo V12.0, therefore creating new sets of re-engineered business processes. There are seven newly proposed reengineering business processes––in which only concentrate on the production and technical department within the particular company, by utilising the manufacturing and maintenance modules. The re-engineered business processes are assessed using the Technology Acceptance Model theory, to measure its usability and practicality, which generates the score of Likert’s interpretation above the accepted standard of 1340 and 1227, for both the manufacturing and maintenance modules respectively.  Keywords: Business Process Reengineering, Enterprise Resource Planning, Manufacturing Process, Odoo, Technology Acceptance Model.

The rapid growth through the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems by Indonesian companies has been responded by ERP vendors in providing skilled human resources in ERP environment by cooperating with universities. SAP as one of the ERP vendors has also cooperated with Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia Jakarta, particularly for accounting students, training is conducted since 2013. This study will test the satisfaction model for the students after they complete the ERP training using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Continuance Model framework. This research is an explorative study that examines student satisfaction models in using ERP system. The Technology Acceptance Model and Expectation Continuance Model used to build a proposed model. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to 319 trainees at the end of the session. The result of analysis using Partial Least Square SEM method shows that confirmation variable, perceived ease of use, satisfaction with class, and satisfaction with an instructor have affected student satisfaction in using ERP system. Furthermore, satisfaction with class and instructor influence perceived ease of use, and, finally, students 'satisfaction effect on students' intention to keep using. Based on the analysis results can be concluded that students feel satisfied with ERP training and this affects their intentions in using ERP in the future.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions are the most frequently used software tool in companies in all industries. Therefore, the labour market requires the knowledge and skills for usage of ERP solutions from graduates – future employees. The main objective of our paper is therefore the identification of important factors that contribute to the acceptance of ERP solutions by students in economics and business and that shape their intentions to use this knowledge in the future. The model of our research is based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), extended by identified important multidimensional external factors that refer to (1) students’ personal characteristics and information literacy, (2) perceived system and technological characteristics of ERP solutions and (3) perceived support within the study process. Research results revealed that several dimensions of the three multidimensonal factors play an important role in shaping the attitudes towards acceptance of ERP solutions by students.

In order to survive in today’s global competitive environment, businesses have to use information systems during management and production processes. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is developed by Davis (1989). According to this model, the use of a new information system depends on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness variables. This study analyzes the factors that affect the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, which is an information system, in the frame of TAM variables. 236 companies that use these information systems participated in the survey. It is determined that, eleven independent variables, which are taken into consideration in the scope of user characteristics, innovative characteristics, organizational and environmental characteristics factors, have statistically meaningful and positive effect on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness which represent TAM parameters. Similarly, it is determined that, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness have a positive and statistically meaningful effect on the use of ERP.

Orientation: Enterprise resource systems have not always led to significant organisational enhancement and many projects in which these systems have been implemented turn out to be over budget, not on time and unsuccessful.Research purpose: The aim of this study was to test the technology acceptance model within a South African SAP® Enterprise Resource Planning user environment.Motivation for the study: No study could be traced in which the technology acceptance model has been evaluated in the South African context.Research approach, design and method: A cross-sectional survey design was used. The 23-item Technology Acceptance Model Questionnaire was deployed amongst SAP® Enterprise Resource Planning users (N = 241). Main findings: The results confirmed significant paths from perceived usefulness of the information system to attitudes towards and behavioural intentions to use it. Furthermore, behavioural intention to use the system predicted actual use thereof. Perceived ease of use indirectly affected attitudes towards and behavioural intentions to use via perceived usefulness of the information system.Practical/managerial implications: Practitioners should build user confidence by ensuring the ease of use of a new system, providing relevant education, training and guidance and reiterating its usefulness and future added value to the user’s job and career.Contribution/value-add: This study contributes to scientific knowledge regarding the influence of individuals’ perceptions of information system usage on their attitudes, behavioural intentions and actual use of such a system.

In this era of global competition, companies need to shorten the production cycle, responsive to market dynamics and customer demand and to strengthen information exchange system. In this competitive environment, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is very helpful in integrating the management of all the company's resources. In manufacturing companies such as furniture, raw materials shall be made available for the production process. Shortages of raw materials can be anticipated early through inventory information that can be accessed quickly and accurately so that the business process is still running. This study aims to assist companies in implementing ERP systems by proposing strategies and tactics to overcome the problems encountered in implementing ERP systems. ADempiere as one ERP applications can help manage the transaction data and inventory business processes to improve corporate performance. The stages are carried out in this research is to identify problems, analyze business processes, election ADempiere application modules, implementation and testing of applications. Business processes are identified consisting of sales, purchasing and production. The results of analysis of business processes described in the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and a working model of the system is shown by the use case diagram. TDMS menginduk pada System Application and Product in data processing (SAP), dimana SAP merupakan salah satu software ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
