Video surveillance system (VSS) is an monitoring system based-on IP-camera. VSS implemented in live streaming and serves to observe and monitor a site remotely. Typically, IP- camera in the VSS has a management software application. However, for ad hoc applications, where the user wants to manage VSS independently, application management software has become ineffective. In the IP-camera installation spread over a large area, an administrator would be difficult to describe the location of the IP-camera. In addition, monitoring an area of IP- Camera will also become more difficult. By looking at some of the flaws in VSS, this paper has proposed a VSS application for easy monitoring of each IP Camera. Applications that have been proposed to integrate the concept of web-based geographical information system with the Google Maps API (Web-GIS). VSS applications built with smart features include maps ip-camera, live streaming of events, information on the info window and marker cluster. Test results showed that the application is able to display all the features built well

The integration of wireless communication and embedded video systems is a demanding and interesting topic which has attracted significant research efforts from the community of telecommunication. This chapter discusses the challenging issues in wireless video surveillance and presents the detailed design for a novel highly-secure video surveillance system over ad hoc wireless networks. To this end, we explore the state-of-the-art cross domains of wireless communication, video processing, embedded systems, and security. Moreover, a new media-dependent video encryption scheme, including a reliable data embedding technique and real-time video encryption algorithm, is proposed and implemented to enable the system to work properly and efficiently in an open and insecure wireless environment. Extensive experiments are conducted to demonstrate the advantages of the new systems, including high security guarantee and robustness. The chapter would serve as a good reference for solving the challenging issues in wireless multimedia and bring new insights on the interaction of different technologies within the cross application domain.

Recent video surveillance system provides a path to continuously monitor any place at any time. In addition IP based surveillance system helps to monitor the place remotely through wide area network. Here the system is designed such that the camera which captures the video act as the front end and the computer which helps as to view the details acts as the client of the system. The main aim of this paper is to increase the resolution of the video in the system and to reduce the transmission time of the IP based video surveillance system. In this system we use IP camera to capture the scene and a field programmable gate array (FPGA) is connected to the local server through the IP network.The FPGA used here is programmed to process the captured video and operates towards effective data transmission in IP network. The algorithms like connected component labeling, background modeling is analyzed along with High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) to enhance the quality of the video captured. In futureon updating the designed model Using WAP structure the cell phones can be used for the client side of the system.As expected due to the introduction of efficient video coding and IP networking the transmission time is highly reduced in our proposed system.

<p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p><strong><br /></strong>Teknologi <em>video surveillance system </em>atau kamera pengawas sudah menjadi alat yang sangat penting karena mayoritas kebutuhan masyarakat sekarang ini menginginkan informasi yang cepat untuk diakses serta praktis dalam penggunaannya. Dalam penelitian ini sebuah protokol H.264 dipergunakan dalam <em>memproses video streaming</em>pada <em>video surveillance system</em>yang berfungsi sebagai pengirim dan pengontrol paket data <em>streaming</em>dari kamera pengawas ke penerima yaitu sebagai <em>user video surveillance system</em>. Analisis <em>frame video</em>pada protokol H.264 dilakukan pada live streaming server berupa embedded system yang terintegrasi pada video <em>surveillance system</em>dengan kamera pengawas. Dari hasil uji coba menunjukan bahwa Protokol H.264 memberikan kompresi kualitas <em>video</em>yang baik, sehingga implementasi <em>Video Streaming</em>lalu lintas kendaraan ini menjanjikan dapat membantu memudahkan masyarakat dalam mendapatkan informasi dan juga mengetahui kondisi lalu lintas secara<em>realtime </em>serta efektif dan efesien. Implementasi <em>Video streaming</em>secara <em>realtime</em>ini memantau kondisi lalu lintas di suatu Lokasi dengan pendeteksi ketersediaan kamera CCTV <em>(Closed Circuit Television)</em>dan <em>Raspberry pi</em>sebagai <em>server</em>. </p><p> </p><p><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p><em><strong></strong></em><em><span>Technology of video surveillance system has become a very important tool because the majority of the needs of today's society want information that is fast to access and practical in its use. In this study an H.264 protocol is used in processing video streaming in video surveillance system that functions as a sender and controller of streaming data packets from surveillance camera to receiver that is as user video surveillance system. The frame video analysis of the H.264 protocol has performed on a live streaming server in the form of embedded systems integrated in video surveillance system with surveillance cameras As a result, the system shows that the H.264 protocol provides good video quality compression, so the implementation of Video Streaming traffic this vehicle promises to help facilitate the public in getting information and also know the real time traffic conditions as well as effective and efficient. Implementation streaming video in real time this monitor traffic conditions in a location with the detection of the availability of CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) and Raspberry Pi cameras as a server.</span></em></p>
