Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas kehidupan kerja terhadap minat bertahan karyawan dengan menggunakan komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel mediasi. Sampel sebanyak 53 karyawan PT XYZ di Tangerang, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kualitas kehidupan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi, pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap minat bertahan, pengaruh kualitas kehidupan kerja terhadap minat bertahan, pengaruh kualitas kehidupan kerja terhadap minat bertahan yang dimediasi komitmen organisasi, adalah positif dan signifikan. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar perusahaan mengevaluasi peraturan kerja, menjaga kondusifitas ruang kerja, menekankan norma dan aturan perusahaan kepada karyawan baru, membangun dan membentuk karyawan dengan pelatihan, serta menyediakan fasilitas kerja yang memadai dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas kehidupan kerja serta komitmen organisasional. Hal tersebut pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan minat bertahan karyawan dalam perusahaan.  The study aims to analyze the effect of quality of work life on employees' intention to stay by using organizational commitment as a mediation variable. Sampled as many as 53 employees of PT XYZ in Tangerang, with purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the influence of quality of work life on organizational commitment, the influence of organizational commitment to intention to stay, the influence of quality of work life on intention to stay, the influence of quality of work life on the intention to stay mediated by organizational commitment, was positive and significant. This research recommends that companies evaluate work regulations, maintain workspace conduciveness, emphasize company norms and rules to new employees, build and shape employees with training, and provide adequate work facilities in order to improve the quality of work life and organizational commitment. This can ultimately increase the employee's enduring interest in the company.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji seberapa besar pengaruh quality of work life terhadap komitmen keorganisasian pada pegawai Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG). Sampel penelitiannya adalah pegawai Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) sebanyak 105 pegawai dengan kriteria Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) BMKG, telah bekerja di BMKG minimal 2 tahun dan berusia antara 21 sampai dengan 56 tahun, dengan teknik pengambilan data yaitu purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yaitu dengan penyebaran kuesioner mengenai quality of work life yang berjumlah 35 aitem berdasarkan Walton’s Model menurut Walton (1975) dan skala komitmen keorganisasian berjumlah 30 aitem berdasarkan Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) menurut Steers dan Porter (1987). Berdasarkan pada analisis data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik regresi sederhana diperoleh R2 sebesar 0.545 (p < .01). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis awal diterima, artinya quality of work life berpengaruh secara sangat signifikan terhadap komitmen keorganisasian pegawai Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa quality of work life memberikan sumbangan sebesar 54.5% terhadap komitmen keorganisasian, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 45.5% merupakan sumbangan dari variabel lain yang merupakan faktor di luar penelitian.

This study aimed to (1) determine the effect of the quality of work life (QWL) and job satisfaction to organizational commitment ; (2) finding out the effect of the QWL, job satisfaction, organization commitment to employee performance ; (3) finding out the effect of the QWL and job satisfaction to employee performance with organization commitment  as intervening variable. The sample in this research was employees of PT. Madubaru PG-PS Madukismo in Yogyakarta using 100 respondents; the sampling technique was using simple random sampling technique. The types of data used were primary and secondary data with data collecting techniques of survey approach (questionnaire). The data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through AMOS 21 program and SPSS 23. The result of the research is that QWL does not affect the organizational commitment while job satisfaction affects the organizational commitment. The QWL and job satisfaction do not affect employees’ performance, while organizational commitment affects the employees’ performance. The QWL does not affect the employees’ performance indirectly. Job satisfaction affects employees’ performance indirectly with organizational commitment as intervening variable. The company should further enhance the employees’ organizational commitment in order to higher the employees’ performance.

The study aims to identify the correlation and impact relationship between the quality of work life and the organizational commitment, and to show the strength of this relationship and its impact, and then provide a theoretical framework for the study variables. The practical aspect was distributed over a sample consisting of (77) persons working in Islamic banks. After the collection and processing of data using the statistical program (spss), the results showed a positive relationship between the variables of the study as well as the existence of a positive effect and accordingly, a number of recommendations were made.

Abstract: Honda official workshop (AHASS) is a maintenance and repair service company for motorcycle products of Honda. To fulfill customers demand, the company management tries to improve employee performance in order to make their consumers satisfied with the offered service. The objectives of this research are to significantly examine the direct influence of quality of work life and work satisfaction on employee performance and the indirect influence of quality of work life and work satisfaction on employee performance through organizational commitment. This is an explanatory research with the sample consists of 50 (fifty) employees of Honda official workshops in Sumbersari District, Jember. Data were analyzed using path analysis with SPSS 19. The results show that quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and organizational commitment; work satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and organizational commitment; and organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
