Sibunit is carrying agent for the catalyst used in various processes of the chemical industry, including in hydrogenation reaction. Now for its preparation and conducting of technological operations the so-called "dry" way possessing extensive deficiencies is used, basic of which the fluffing, and also a considerable share of muscle work on manufacture and, as consequence, the big duration of separate stages are.It is offered to use a "wet" way with application of rotor-stator equipment for preparation of a catalyst carrier for the purpose of exclusion of the specified deficiencies. As a result of the spent work it has been established, that activity of the catalysts samples gained with use of the hammer mill and with application rotor-stator system in hydrogenation reaction has made 0,606 gramme-molecules/mines and 0,642 gramme-molecules/mines, at an yield of a target product of 76,15% and 80,00%, accordingly. Also it is defined, that the share of losses caused by a dust generation, it has been lowered more than in 10 times in comparison with acting technology.

This work is devoted to the kinetic study of the selective reduction of carboxylic groups of stearic acid chosen as a model compound in order to obtain stearyl alcohol. 1%Pd/MN-270 palladium deposited on the polymeric matrix of hypercrosslinked polystyrene by hydrothermal method was chosen as a catalyst. The study of the influence of temperature, hydrogen partial pressure, substrate concentration, mixing rate on the hydrogenation reaction rate and the selectivity of the formation of target product was performed.

This publication presents the new trends and opportunities for further development of coordination compounds used in the chemical industry. The review describes the influence of various physicochemical factors regarding the coordination relationship (for example, steric hindrance, electron density, complex geometry, ligand), which condition technological processes. Coordination compounds are catalysts in technological processes used during organic synthesis, for example: Oxidation reactions, hydroformylation process, hydrogenation reaction, hydrocyanation process. In this article, we pointed out the possibilities of using complex compounds in catalysis, and we noticed what further research should be undertaken for this purpose.

To generate coal tar with coal is the key technology of coal chemical industry, the generated coal tar is one of the important industry fuel and chemistry raw materials, and more attentions were attracted in coal tar preparation and processing technologies in recent years. Therefore, review of the updated technologies is developed at the present work. As for coal tar preparation technology, coal carbonization processing and coal hydropyrolysis are mature and has been applied to industry production. In comparison, hydrogenation of coal tar is just at the development. In term of coal tar processing technology, the present leading directions are how to manufacture clean fuel as well as phenol. Based on the status of coal tar preparation and processing technology, resources recycling use isn’t enough, consumptions of per ton coal is higher, environmental pollution is serious, and deep processing technology of coal tar needs to be raised.

Phosgene still plays an important role as a toxic substance in the chemical industry. Thiess (1968) recently reported observations on numerous cases of phosgene poisoning. A serious difficulty in the clinical handling of phosgene poisoning cases is a relatively long latent period, up to 12 hours, with no obvious signs of severity. At about 12 hours heavy lung edema appears suddenly, however changes can be seen in routine X-rays taken after only a few hours' exposure (Diller et al., 1969). This study was undertaken to correlate these early changes seen by the roengenologist with morphological alterations in the lungs seen in the'light and electron microscopes.Forty-two adult male and female Beagle dogs were selected for these exposure experiments. Treated animals were exposed to 94.5-107-5 ppm phosgene for 10 min. in a 15 m3 chamber. Roentgenograms were made of the thorax of each animal before and after exposure, up to 24 hrs.
