To improve the existing problems of traditional construction equipment through electrical automation system, such as low water pressure on high floor, irrational lighting system and energy consumption of air conditioning system. Methods: The energy saving control of electrical automation system of construction equipment was studied in detail from four aspects: heat pump, variable air volume, enthalpy and lighting system. Results: The heat pump, variable air volume, enthalpy, lighting system energy saving control optimization, on the one hand to provide people comfortable and suitable for the surrounding environment, on the other hand to enhance the efficiency of building equipment control and resource utilization. Conclusion: The introduction of new technology in construction equipment is in line with China’s sustainable development concept. Energy saving and environmental protection is the future development direction of the construction market and needs further exploration in the future.

For ocean-going vessels sailing in different areas on the sea, the change of external environment factors will cause frequent changes in load, traditional ship air-conditioning system is usually designed with a fixed cooling capacity, this design method causes serious waste of resources. A new type of sea-based air conditioning system is proposed in this paper, which uses the sea-based source heat pump system, combined with variable air volume, variable water technology. The multifunctional cabins’ dynamic loads for a ship navigating in a typical Eurasian route were calculated based on Simulink. The model can predict changes in full voyage load. Based on the simulation model, the effects of variable air volume and variable water volume on the energy consumption of the air-conditioning system are analyzed. The results show that: When the VAV is coupled with the VWV, the energy saving rate is 23.2%. Therefore, the application of variable air volume and variable water technology to marine air conditioning systems can achieve economical and energy saving advantages.

A model reference adaptive control (MRAC) algorithm is proposed to the air-conditioning system of variable air volume (VAV) terminal units (VAV BOX). The study of temperature controlling parameters in room area (Zone) is based on Lyapunov stability theory. We built the simulation model in Matlab to validate the superior controlling performance and good energy saving effect of the algorithm. The research shows that the energy consumption release 60% ~70% in larger room. In modern building, the energy saving and comfort is very important, so the simulation has important engineering practical value.

The principles of building energy simulation and its relationship with heating and cooling energy calculation help to make an integrated evaluation of building energy consumption. This is used to achieve a better and more energy efficient building. The sensitivity analysis of energy efficient HVAC design was used to create an energy efficient Peel Region Headquarters Building. An energy audit was conducted on the existing building to establish the Base Case Model "Peel Region Headquarters Building" to determine its annual energy consumption across all current usage. To reduce the total energy cost of the Base Case Model, different HVAC Systmes were investigated to analyze their energy-based performance and impact on the Greehouse Gas Emission (GHG). The sensitivity analysis was conducted using two whole building simulation programs, "Carrier HAP" and "eQUEST", with three different air systems, namely, "2-Fan Dual Duct Variable Air Volume System", "1-Fan Dual Duct Variable Air Volume System" and "1-Fan Dual Duct Variable Air Volume System with two Rooftop Packaged HVAC System'. Three different types of heat pumps, namely, Open Loop Water Source Heat Pump, Closed Loop Water Source Heat Pump, and Ground Source Heat Pump, were used to determine the efficiency and viability of the three proposed HVAC System with the existing infrastructure. RETScreen International Clean Energy Project Analysis Software (Version 4) was used to evaluate the energy production and savings, life-cycle costs, emission reductions and financial viability. MNECB/CBIP and ASHRAE 90.1 (2004) Building Compliance Program was used for determining the key elements for analyzing the building components and for providing recommendations for an energy efficient building. The improvement from the conventional HVAC System to implementation of an Open Loop Water Source Heat Pump resulted in 75% energy cost savings for the Peel Region Headquarters Building. The percentage contribution of CO₂ was reduced by 78%.

In recent years, with the development of mechanical automation,automation system had been developed quickly, and it covers different fields in different areas. As for automation learning system, it had been developed by some researchers and learners for its fast speed and energy-saving properties. At the same time, automation learning system is also useful for trainers to develop and improve. Therefore, the author had made some investigations and tried to dig out its advantages and disadvantages, which are useful for its further development in the future application. During the study, the author also found that some electronic materials had been useful to stimulate the uses of automation learning system.From the study, the author hopes that the study will help to improve learning efficiency and saving energy.
