Objective: Study of the technosphere safety issues relating to the use of construction equipment. Analysis of regulatory framework in this field. Methods: Study of the main causes of accidents in construction has been carried out. Results: Ways to minimize risks and examples of accidents that threaten the technosphere safety when using construction equipment are given. Practical im-portance: It has been established that it is necessary to reduce the risk of accidents due to human error. This can be done in a variety of ways.
