Online and realtime monitoring system for water quality that uses a computer mainboard as data logger requires software applications that serve to control the sensor work in order to measure the water quality data and sends it to the data center. Some of the requirements such as data measurement, storage and delivery of data and early warning system are required by the data logger in order to have the features as desired by the majority of users of this system. To facilitate the making of the program code, sensor with serial communication ports (RS232C) will be used. Program control data logger that meets these requirements is developed using Water Flow Software Development Life Cycle method and using GNU C++ the free open source software (FOSS) as the development tools. Program control data logger that has been developed will be installed to the data logger hardware and operated using FreeBSD as the Operating system. Real-time water quality monitoring requires data logger for automatic data retrieval  by sensors. The hardware data logger for realtime monitoring can be developed by utilizing scars computer mainboard that are still functioning and widely avaliable in the market at low prices. Through online monitoring applications that developed by using free open source software, water quality data can be measured in accordance with the specified time interval and stored in the database system. This paper discusses the hardware selection and recomendation studies that include the motherboard and CPU, storage, transmission and communication medium required for the manufacturing of computer's mainboard based data logger. The results of this study are to be used as an alternative data logger selection for realtime water quality monitoring with low investment costs. So, the water companies can monitor raw water quality from their water treatment plant as well as the industrial can monitor wastewater quality from wastewater treatment plant. Keyword : online monitoring, real time monitoring, early warning system (EWS), open source software, data logger, onlimo OSS.

Rapid technological developments have penetrated the application of technology in the field of aquaculture. Climate Changes that are currently uncertain and beyond prediction encourage the application of technology to increase fishery production and modernization. The purpose of this study is to design a water quality monitoring system that can be monitored remotely in real-time using an internet-based smartphone/PC application. It is equipped with an early warning system to monitor the water quality set by the upper and lower thresholds. This device is based on Robotdyn Uno Wifi R3 ESP8266 with IoT technology. The alarm system uses a buzzer and LED indicator to make it understandable to fishermen. We tested the device in two stages. Results showed that the alarm system responds to all changes in water quality that exceeds the set threshold. Water quality data can be monitored with an internet-based smartphone application and updated every 15-16 seconds

River conditions in Bandung City are currently in critical condition. This study aims to create an early warning system and monitoring of river water quality based on the Internet of Things in the hope that early warnings sent through the telegram application belonging to the Bandung City DLHK officer and the Twitter social media website, can inform the Bandung City DLHK officer that a river is in a polluted condition and the officer can immediately go to the location of river water to carry out mitigation, and give warnings to the community. The research method used using the waterfall method which consists of: needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance with sequential implementation. Data collection methods were carried out in several ways, namely: interviews, giving questionnaires, and literature studies used in this study sourced from books, journals, seminar presentations, and the internet as references in the research conducted. Based on the research that has been carried out, the following test results are obtained: black box testing is carried out in accordance with those contained in the test plan with the results of each test having valid results. The results obtained from the user acceptance test which are calculated using the Likert scale have an average value of 86.94% which fall into the category of strongly agree, and there are three guidelines which are a follow-up to the output of the early warning system that can be carried out either by the Environmental Service. and Cleanliness (DLHK) of Bandung City and the community.

Motor listrik merupakan salah satu instrumen yang memegang peranan penting dalam mengendalikan pergerakan mesin-mesin produksi di Pabrik Kelapa Sawit (PKS). Pada PKS Sungai Bengkal Jambi, proses penggantian atau rekondisi sebuah motor listrik dengan daya 60 HP akibat overheat (terbakar) memerlukan waktu lebih dari 1 (satu) bulan. Untuk menanggulangi hal tersebut, dirancang suatu sistem kontrol tertutup yang terdiri dari sensor, indikator, kontroler, dan aktuator. Sistem dibuat dengan menggunakan sensor IC LM35 untuk mendeteksi temperatur bagian dalam motor listrik. Informasi temperatur dari sensor tersebut diterima dan diolah oleh mikrokontroler yang diprogram untuk merespon perubahan temperatur dan memberikan feedback dengan melakukan trip pada motor listrik saat temperatur operasi melebihi set point yang telah ditentukan. Setelah loop selesai, sistem akan mengaktifkan kembali motor listrik saat temperatur operasi sudah kembali normal. Feedback yang diberikan juga digunakan sebagai sistem peringatan dini (early warning system dengan menambahkan lampu indikator dan sirine pada sistem. Selain itu, mikrokontroler diprogram untuk mengkonversi perubahan temperatur dari sensor untuk diolah menjadi keluaran data digital. Semua data tersimpan dalam data logger (perekam data) dan ditampilkan secara langsung pada sevent segment display. Untuk menguji akurasi sistem, telah dilakukan pengambilan data temperatur sebanyak 30 kali melalui data logger. dan didapatkan nilai standar deviasi sebesar 0,77% dengan rentang sebesar 0,71 °C. Perbedaan hasil pengukuran jika dibandingkan dengan Termolaser adalah sebesar 0,013%.

Abstract This paper used the trophic level index (TLI) method combined with the relevant data from 2014 to 2017 to evaluate the water quality of Gaoyou Lake. Meanwhile, based on principal component analysis (PCA) and multiple linear regression (MLR) models on chlorophyll a (Chla), this research developed predictions and an early warning scheme for eutrophication in Gaoyou Lake. The results showed the following: 1. The TLI of Gaoyou Lake showed a significant increasing trend, and the lake was in the state of light to moderate eutrophy. 2. According to the PCA eigenvalues that were greater than 1, principal components (PCs) with a cumulative contribution rate of 76.04% were obtained, and a linear model was further obtained: CChla = 6.146 + 1.209 (Score 1) + 0.583 (Score 2) + 1.095 (Score 3). 3. The credibility of the early warning system reached 75%, which met the requirements of this study. This study provides a scientific basis for the control of eutrophication and improvement of water quality.
