With the rapid development of modern information technology, visual simulation technology is widely used popularized in the construction of college English. Therefore, this paper tries to have a further research on visual simulation technology into college English. Results show that the visual simulation is very important to improve students’ recognition, understanding of tourism English training courses.

College English teaching is supposed to cover both language acquisition and culture learning due to the close relationship between language and culture, taking cultural teaching as an indispensible part of college English courses. With the rapid integration of information technology and English curriculum, artificial intelligence has brought new opportunities to college English teaching, and college English cultural teaching methods are now faced with new innovations. In the age of intelligence, to promote teaching quality and learning effect, artificial intelligence technology can be embedded in English teaching practice, exerting its technical advantages and frontier characteristics. In consideration of integrated developing tendency of college English cultural teaching model and modern information technology, the paper is aimed to design and build up an intelligence-aided system so as to extend the depth and width of the application of modern information technology in college English cultural teaching as well as to exploit the great application potential of modern information technology in college English cultural teaching, thus opening a new way and presenting a direction for college English cultural teaching.

With the popularization of multi-media and network technology, some Chinese schools are applying the high technology to the class. The author believes that the model of teaching and learning focus on the establishment of multi-media class environment and the after-school autonomous learning system. The utilization reflects the development process of the combination of modern information technology and English teaching. The modern teaching technology, which includes multi-media, network system and various teaching aids, enriched the choice of teaching resources and provided plenty of materials for teaching so as to supply more opportunities for students. The applications of information transition to class, such as multi-media and network technology are increasingly concerned and favored by teachers and students and have becoming one of the best devices for modern education. The author of this paper divide the application of multi-media and network technology to English teaching into two parts according to the experience of teaching practice and the utilization of language lab: the language class environment based on the use of multi-media and the after-school autonomous learning system based on network technology.

With the continuous development of modern multimedia information technology, the traditional English teaching method has shown a backward trend. Nowadays, most higher vocational colleges apply modern information technology to teaching, which can enrich the content of English courses taught by teachers and make the English teaching classroom in higher vocational colleges more efficient and harmonious. By promoting the application of information technology in English teaching, we can better promote the enthusiasm of students in higher vocational colleges, enhance their interest in learning, and then improve their English level.
