Nowadays, due to the rapid development of social economy, many rural labors have flowed into more developed cities, resulting in more and more left-behind children(LBC), which is an urgent problem in our country's life. Although there are many researches on LBC, there are few researches on LBC's physical and mental health(PMH).In this regard, this paper studies whether physical education and exercise are very important for improving PMH in LBC, and collects and classifies data on PMH in LBC by referring to the literature. Interviews are used to collect the true thoughts of LBC and to understand PMH. The questionnaire survey was used to investigate the PMH status of LBC, and objectively and comprehensively collected the PMH status data of LBC. Finally, the data obtained are statistically analyzed by the method of several examples. This paper studies the situation of LBC participating in extracurricular sports activities and makes a comparison with non-LBC. The results show that the LBC who take part in more after-school sports training have better PMH, more cheerful personality, more love and compassion, can quickly adapt to a new environment, and are emotionally stable. They can handle things calmly and develop their individual emotions well. In addition, the probability of PMH problems of non-LBC is smaller than that of LBC. Through the research and analysis of sports and PMH of LBC, it is found that sports play a positive role in promoting the PMH of LBC. Therefore, physical education is of great value to promote the healthy development of LBC.

(1) Background: Several researches have shown the relationship between healthy habits and physical and mental health. Thus, it is essential to study how some psychosocial factors can promote positive behaviours in university students, specifically in those who will be teachers of Physical Education. (2) Methods: This descriptive and cross-sectional research was conducted on 775 university students of Physical Education from Spain. This study aims to develop an explanatory model for the relationships between motivational climate, healthy habits (Mediterranean Diet (MD), Physical Activity (PA) and substance consumption) and some indicators of physical health (oxygen consumption (VO2MAX)) and mental health (self-concept) according to gender, using structural equations analysis. (3) Results: The motivational climate was positively associated with PA, showing a stronger relationship for ego-oriented climate in women. The adherence to MD showed a positive association with PA and self-concept, while it is negative for the consumption of tobacco in men. Likewise, PA was directly related to VO2MAX with a higher regression weight for women. The ego-oriented motivational climate was negatively related to tobacco consumption in women. (4) Conclusions: Task-oriented goals are related to more positive and healthy behaviours such as PA, although it was no association was found with MD. Therefore, we can conclude the importance of promoting task-oriented goals in educational contexts linked to Physical Education in order to avoid negative behaviours.

With the continuous development of social economy, students’ learning is paid more and more attention, but at the same time, their physical condition also deserves attention. In view of these problems and limitations, this paper is based on intelligent sensors, which is different from the traditional physical education teaching, adopts the corresponding prescription for sports teaching, combines teaching with fun for the corresponding health intervention, and realizes the two-way dimensional analysis of compound sports prescription through comprehensive nutrition collocation, so as to improve students’ physical and mental health, in order to improve students’ physical fitness. The simulation results show that the intelligent sensor is effective, which can improve the systematicness and scientificity of students’ participation in exercise in sports activities and improve students’ learning and physical fitness.

With the awakening of people's health consciousness, the concept and practice of health promotion has become the main target of health policies throughout the world. In this study, the relationship between physical education and health promotion was examined. Art students from a university in Taoyuan were selected for research, and a total of 320 questionnaires were issued. Invalid and incomplete questionnaires were eliminated, with a total of 227 valid questionnaires. Finally, the LISREL (Linear Structural Relations) model was used to analyze the correlation between various factors and health promotion. The results of the model analysis show that in terms of basic fit, the three factors of physical education (course design, teaching content, and activity design) have a high correlation with the influence of physical education, reaching a significant level (t > 1.96, p < 0.05). In terms of influence on sports participation, the three factors (physiological factors, psychological factors, social factors) of sports participation reached a significant level (t > 1.96, p < 0.05). The two factors of health promotion (physiological health, and mental health and practical ideas) have a high correlation with the influence of health promotion, reaching a significant level (t > 1.96, p < 0.05). In terms of overall mode fit, the overall mode fit standard χ2/Df was 1.344, less than the standard value of 3 or less, and the RMR value was 0.007, indicating that the χ2/DF and RMR result standards were appropriate, and the chi-square value was very sensitive to the sample size. Therefore, there was a positive correlation among physical education, sports participation, and health promotion. In conclusion, physical activities can improve the human body's immune function, reduce the symptoms of chronic diseases, and positively promote health. The research result is important for emphasizing the benefit of sports to art students, and provides reference for improving the quality of school physical education, and the physical and mental health level of people in Taiwan.
