With the continuous development of social economy, students’ learning is paid more and more attention, but at the same time, their physical condition also deserves attention. In view of these problems and limitations, this paper is based on intelligent sensors, which is different from the traditional physical education teaching, adopts the corresponding prescription for sports teaching, combines teaching with fun for the corresponding health intervention, and realizes the two-way dimensional analysis of compound sports prescription through comprehensive nutrition collocation, so as to improve students’ physical and mental health, in order to improve students’ physical fitness. The simulation results show that the intelligent sensor is effective, which can improve the systematicness and scientificity of students’ participation in exercise in sports activities and improve students’ learning and physical fitness.

Nowadays, due to the rapid development of social economy, many rural labors have flowed into more developed cities, resulting in more and more left-behind children(LBC), which is an urgent problem in our country's life. Although there are many researches on LBC, there are few researches on LBC's physical and mental health(PMH).In this regard, this paper studies whether physical education and exercise are very important for improving PMH in LBC, and collects and classifies data on PMH in LBC by referring to the literature. Interviews are used to collect the true thoughts of LBC and to understand PMH. The questionnaire survey was used to investigate the PMH status of LBC, and objectively and comprehensively collected the PMH status data of LBC. Finally, the data obtained are statistically analyzed by the method of several examples. This paper studies the situation of LBC participating in extracurricular sports activities and makes a comparison with non-LBC. The results show that the LBC who take part in more after-school sports training have better PMH, more cheerful personality, more love and compassion, can quickly adapt to a new environment, and are emotionally stable. They can handle things calmly and develop their individual emotions well. In addition, the probability of PMH problems of non-LBC is smaller than that of LBC. Through the research and analysis of sports and PMH of LBC, it is found that sports play a positive role in promoting the PMH of LBC. Therefore, physical education is of great value to promote the healthy development of LBC.

The study aims to investigate the ways of spending free time for a group of 180 students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports in Galati (years 1, 2 and 3 of cycle 1 / bachelor’s degree studies, with an average age of 22.34 ± 5.79 years.), by using a questionnaire-based survey, structured on 4 distinct factors: leisure time budget, causes limiting leisure time, favorite leisure activities and leisure sports activities. The purpose of the research is to determine the perception of students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports on how to spend free time and determine differences of opinion, depending on BMI / body mass index, by dividing them into 3 groups (underweight, normal weight or overweight). Results: The analysis of variance (ANOVA) indicates significant influences of the independent variable on the response values for the following items (F <.05): inaccessibility of going out with friends, stress generated by shopping, limiting free time to help others, spending free time with entourage and life partner, spending holidays in the country, etc. Socializing on the internet, physical sports activities, TV, internet and computer games, going out with friends are the preferred options for students, and reading gets low scores. The differences between groups (in most cases insignificant) however, signal that normal weight students watch TV and the Internet the least, but waste more time with commuting and household activities and have high scores when involved in most sports. Overweight people have low scores for time spent on favorite activities, are most dissatisfied with time management, work more overtime, spend less time with those around them, but prefer to spend time with their life partner or alone, have slightly better scores for reading and music auditions, get the lowest scores for involvement in most sports activities, but have high satisfaction generated by physical effort. Underweight students perceive the inaccessibility of going out with friends more strongly, are more affected by difficult homework, have a higher level of stress for reading, but perceive most other activities as less stressful, socialize more on the internet, prefer jogging and cycling / rollerblading as sports activities. Swimming is selected by all groups as indicated for optimizing health and ensuring body harmony, even if its practice is deficient, and contact / combat sports are indicated as the most risky for physical integrity. Keywords: active and passive leisure, lifestyle, physical and mental health, opinions, accessibility

There exists both a physical and mental deterioration that affects the functional status of elderly people. It is expected to determine the level of physical condition and the mental health status of old physically autonomous women and establish relationships. A sample of thirty women aged 67.52±3.1 was taken. While physical condition was assessed using the Senior Fitness Test (SFT), for the mental health was used the Mini-Mental test. Besides, weight and height were recorded and body mass index was calculated (BMI). Regarding BMI and following World Health Organization’s criteria related to obesity, the sample is not outside the typical limits. Scores of SFT determined that all results were within normal limits except those of the two-minute walk’s test and the flexibility focused on the lower body, balance and agility. The Mini-Mental test results are also within the normal limits. A positive moderate correlation (r=0.67) was obtained from the static equilibrium test thanks to a strength test of the lower extremity. People with more strength in the lower extremity obtained lower scores in the agility test (r=-0.67). There is moderate positive correlation (r=0.62) between the test of agility and speed of travel. Correlations of physical test with the Mini-Mental are low. Definitely, the level of physical fitness and mental health is in the normal range. It has not been found a relationship between the physical fitness and the mental health status.

Abstract. Physical education classes are an ideal instance to maintain and improve students’ health status. However, it is necessary to know the differences in the number of hours scheduled. Objective: To determine the influence that the allocation of two or four hours of Physical Education per week has on body composition, physical condition, and level of physical activity in schoolchildren. Method: a total of 244 students of 13.11 ± .84 years of age were evaluated. Anthropometric variables, physical condition, and level of physical activity were measured during Physical Education classes. Results: Significant differences were found for body composition (weight p = .0367), physical condition (VO2máx p<.0001, dynamometry p = .0165) and level of physical activity (p<.0001). Based on gender, significant differences between boys and girls were detected in the physical fitness variables (VO2max p<.0001, horizontal jump p<.0001, and dynamometry p<.0002) and in time in sedentary (p = .0403) and light physical activity (p<.0001). Conclusion: Weight, VO2max, and levels of moderate and moderate-to-vigorous physical activity are positively modified when performing four hours. In addition, it is concluded that boys are more physically active than girls and have a better physical condition. Boys and girls with higher BMI and BMIZ-score values have lower physical condition.
