This study was intended to search the vital factors and indicators of personal knowledge management and the effectiveness of teacher learning management for primary school teachers in Lao PDR. A survey research design was employed to 600 teachers with the purpose of testing the goodness-of-fit of the identified vital factors and indicators with the empirical data. The results revealed that an entire of 30 indicators were recognized from 10 vital factors. The structural relationship model of personal knowledge management to enhance the effectiveness of teacher learning management indicators was found to be in parallel to the empirical data, with χ2 =382.319, df=342, χ 2/df=1.117, CFI=0.997, TLI=0.996, RMSEA=0.030, and SRMR=0.030. The results contribute significantly to knowledge with orientation to recommending a measurement model which can be referred by primary school teachers in Lao PDR in particular on how to utilize personal knowledge management skills to enhance their learning management capabilities.

Small schools usually have insufficient learning materials as well as a shortage of English teachers. Hence, students may not have enough opportunities to learn English. Therefore, this current study aimed to develop a multimedia reading instructional package that can enhance students’ interest and their eagerness to learn English for communication. The participants of this study consisted of 13 first graders from a primary school in Maha Sarakham, Northeastern Thailand by using a simple random sampling. The objectives of this study were: 1) to develop the learning management of English for communication which including a multimedia reading instructional package, 2) to investigate the effectiveness of the English language learning management for communication by using the multimedia pronunciation activity package, and 3) to study the reading ability of the students who learned English for communication using a multimedia pronunciation activity package. The current study was conducted by using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The findings found that the effectiveness of the English language learning management plan for communication using the multimedia pronunciation activity package had an efficiency (E1 / E2) of 95.58 / 83.58 which was higher than the specified 80/80 criteria. The results also indicated that the students learning progress was increased by 0.70, or 70%. Moreover, it was revealed in the present study that the elementary school students who learned English for communication using a multimedia pronunciation activity package had an increased ability to read aloud.

<p class="apa">The aims of this research were: 1) to study the factors and indicators to enhance curriculum and learning management competency of private primary school teachers, 2) to study current situations and desirable situations and techniques, 3) to develop a program and 4) to study the effects of a program. The study comprised 4 phases: Phase 1, Studying the factors and indicators to enhance curriculum and learning management competency, Phase 2, Studying current situations and desirable situations and techniques, Phase 3. Developing a program and Phase 4, Studying the effects of a program. The 32 subjects were the teachers of Aekpanya School, private school in Somdej district, Kalasin province. The instruments used for data collection were: a suitable evaluation form, a questionnaire, a satisfied evaluation form, a competency evaluation form and a test. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and data description presentation. The findings found that there were five factors including with 5 learning themes. The current situations of the curriculum and learning management competency was in ‘moderate’ level in overall, and the desirable situations of the curriculum and learning management competency of private primary school teachers was in ‘very much’ level in overall. The five techniques of development the curriculum and learning management competency were ranked as follows: workshop, self-learning, coaching, mentoring and supervision. The effects of a program to enhance curriculum and learning management competency found that it increased significantly and it was in ‘very much’ level.</p>
