Software testing is the process of verifying and validating the user’s requirements. Testing is ongoing process during whole software development. Software testing is characterized into three main types. That is, in Black box testing, user doesn’t know domestic knowledge, internal logics and design of system. In white box testing, Tester knows the domestic logic of code. In Grey box testing, Tester has little bit knowledge about the internal structure and working of the system. It is commonly used in case of Integration testing.Load testing helps us to analyze the performance of the system under heavy load or under Zero load. This is achieved with the help of a Load Testing Tool. The intention for writing this research is to carry out a comparison of four load testing tools i.e. Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, Microsoft Visual Studio (TFS), Siege based on certain criteria  i.e. test scripts generation , result reports, application support, plug-in supports, and cost . The main focus is to study these load testing tools and identify which tool is better and more efficient . We assume this comparison can help in selecting the most appropriate tool and motivates the use of open source load testing tools.

Contrary to high false positives rate of use White-box testing tools for Web application source code security and unable to locate vulnerabilities of use Black-box testing tools for Web application security, propose an effective method for combine White-box and Black-box testing tools of Web applications. This method will put the new technology of “Associated Files Matching Engine” into White-box testing tools, this test result and Black-box test result will be statistical analyzed and combined. Argumentation show, this method reduce the positives rate of White-box test result and be able to locate vulnerabilities where it is in file.

Testing of software remains a fundamentally significant way to check that software behaves as required. Component-based software testing (CBST) is a crucial activity of component-based software development (CBSD) and is based on two crucial proportions: components testing by developers with the source code (e.g., system testing, integration testing, unit testing, etc.) and components testing by end users without source code (black box testing). This work proposes a black box testing technique that calculates the total number of interactions made by component-based software. This technique is helpful to identify the number of test cases for those components where availability of source code is questionable. On the basis of interaction among components, the authors draw a component-link graph and a direct-indirect-link matrix, which helps to calculate the number of interactions in component-based software.

PT KISP is a market in the Ciledug area, which requires a parking application, it is hoped that this parking implementation can solve the problem of user needs, namely helping the parking system to be more effective and efficient in terms of processing data and information. With this application, it is hoped that it will make it easier for users to make transactions that are easy and in a short time. To design and implement a reliable parking application that is protected from damage or errors, comprehensive testing is needed, such as the functional test, performance test and user interface test aspects, so testing is needed. Testing parking applications based on black box, software testing is useful to ensure whether the actual results match the expected results and to ensure the application is not damaged. Based on the black box testing that has been carried out, it includes input, process and output in the parking application.

Purpose This study aims to support an institution to hold an online meeting or conference in the middle of social distancing, which is currently in effect. Design/methodology/approach In developing this application, rapid application design methodology is used. The implementation used HTML5 and PHP for the Web and MySQL for the database and Agora Software Development Kit. To evaluate the application, the authors had a black box testing method. Findings This application will support the participant registration process, validation, payment, providing a link to the workshop to the participant, token and room name to be able to join an online meeting or conference up to the process of giving a digital attendance certificate to participants or members participating in it. Originality/value An integrated Web application provides full services, starting from the registration process, payment, the conference meeting itself and certificate of attendance.

Universitas Nasional sebagai lembaga pendidikan memiliki sejumlah dosen dan karyawan yang dapat mengajukan diri agar mendapat kenaikan pangkat dan kenaikan gaji secara berkala. Biasanya, kenaikan golongan akan dibarengi oleh kenaikan gaji karyawan. Saat ini, pengajuan kenaikan tersebut masih manual dimana dosen dan karyawan harus memiliki catatan tambahan tersendiri mengenai kenaikan golongan dan gaji mereka. Hal tersebut karena belum terdapat sistem pendataan ataupun pengingat yang membantu mereka dalam melakukan pengajuan tersebut. Apabila dosen dan karyawan tersebut memiliki banyak kesibukan, maka hak kenaikan golongan dan gaji mereka dapat terabaikan. Penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan aplikasi pendataan dan pengingat bagi karyawan di Universitas Nasional sehingga mereka dapat melakukan pengajuan kenaikan golongan dan gaji tepat waktu. Aplikasi tersebut dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan tool Unified Modelling Language (UML) serta bahasa pemprograman PHP. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tersedianya aplikasi pendataan dan pengingat, yang dapat membantu dosen dan karyawan di Universitas Nasional dalam mengajukan kenaikan golongan dan gajinya. Hasil pengujian black box setiap menu yang ada pada aplikasi berjalan sesuai dengan fungsinya, pada hasil pengujian white box menghasilkan nilai Cyclomatic Complexity =30, Region = 30 Indenpenden Path =30, maka ditarik kesimpulan bahwa alur logika system aplikasi pengingat untuk kenaikan golongan dan gaji berbasis web ini sudah benar dan sesuai dan tidak ada error dalam aplikasi yang dirancang.

Perdagangan elektronik atau e-commerce merupakan proses penyebaran, pembelian, penjualan, pemasaran barang dan jasa melalui sistem elektronik seperti internet. E-commerce dapat melibatkan transfer dana elektronik, pertukaran data elektronik, sistem manajemen inventori otomatis, dan sistem pengumpulan data otomatis. Di Indonesia, terdapat beberapa perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang e-commerce, yang beberapa diantaranya adalah Bukalapak, Elevenia, dan JD.id. Setiap perusahaan tersebut memiliki situs web dimana calon pembeli dapat mencari, memilih, dan membeli produk yang diinginkan. Agar dapat mengambil keputusan yang terbaik ketika melakukan proses perbelanjaan, selain seorang calon pembeli yang harus melakukan pencarian di beberapa situs marketplace mengenai produk yang hendak dibeli secara manual juga mereka ingin mencari produk yang terbaik berdasarkan jumlah produk dengan penjualan terbanyak atau terlaris. Dengan bantuan aplikasi web pencarian terbaik dan teknik web scraping ini akan mampu melakukan pencarian di beberapa situs marketplace dan menampilkan hasil pencarian secara bersamaan. Menurut hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan white box testing dan black box testing, sistem telah mampu memberikan hasil terbaik produk dari gabungan hasil pencarian di tiga situs web marketplace sesuai kata kunci yang dimasukkan oleh pengguna.

The train ticket booking application is an important application because it involves financial transactions. If something goes wrong can be detrimental to the parties involved. The developer of the train ticket booking application must be able to provide a guarantee that the application has been made according to the requirements and has good quality. To provide a guarantee can be done by testing the application. Testing on a product intends to check if a program has been running as per its capacities or still have blunders that should be adjusted so as to have a decent quality program. A famous testing strategy and broadly utilized by analyzers to investigate the program works out in a good way or not is Black Box Testing and White Box Testing. In this examination, the product that will be surveyed utilizing Black Box Testing is a train ticket booking framework that has two structures: the login structure and the booking type of the train pass to be filled by the administrator. There are a wide variety of automated testing tools available, either open source or commercial. This paper provides a comparative review of features of open source and commercial testing tools that may help users to select the appropriate software testing tool based on their requirements.</span>
