This research aims to identify the difference of academic anxiety reviewed from age on semester 8 students of the Elementary Teacher Education Department in Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The research hypothesis is that there is a difference in academic anxiety reviewed from age on semester 8 students of the Elementary Teacher Education Department in Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The 70 research subjects from semester 8 students of Elementary Teacher Education in Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto was taken through incidental sampling. The used scale is an academic anxiety scale. The data were analyzed using T-test with SPSS 22.00 for the Windows program. The result of the hypothesis test shows that the t-count is 3.226,t-table is 1.99547 with p=0.002 (p 0.05). This is strengthened by the average value of academic anxiety of students aged 21-22 years old of 116.89. Meanwhile, the average value of academic anxiety of students aged 23-24 years old of 102.25. The research result shows that there is a difference of academic anxiety reviewed from age on semester 8 students of Elementary Teacher Education Department in Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto.

The research objective was to improve the understanding and creative thinking skills of elementary teacher education college student as prospective teachers in following science courses. The research design used is to make college student groups into small groups. During the learning process, observations about college student cooperation during learning with multimedia media were carried out to assess their understanding and creative thinking skills. The results of the observations of each cycle were evaluated as material for reflection in the next cycle to improve college student understanding and creative thinking skills in accordance with predetermined targets. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive quantitative. From the results of the T-test, it was found that there were significant differences. This means that understanding of concepts and Science Process Skills increases after prospective teacher college student experience the science learning process using multimedia learning media. From the results, the average value of understanding the concept increased from 53.61 % to 89.78%.  and science process skills increased the average value from 43.57 to 87.32.  92% of college student gave a positive response, namely agreeing and strongly agreeing that the science lecture process using multimedia learning media can improve science process skills and understanding of material in science subjects for elementary teacher education college student

This research aims to explain the internalization of Tri-N Tamansiswa Teaching of Primary School Teacher Education Department (PGSD) at Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University. The subjects of this research are the Study Program Chairman, lecturers and college students. As for the research object was the internalization of the Tri-N teaching of Tamansiswa. The data collection was done by observation method, interview and documentation. The research results of shows that the role of the Study Program Chairman is crucial to the internalization of the Tri-N Tamansiswa teaching in strengthening students pedagogical competence. It is because the Study Program Chairman has the authority to make policy in the internalization of Tamansiswa teaching. A pattern or model of the internalization of Tri-N Tamansiswa Teaching is known that derives from the preparation of the vision and the mission continued with the establishment of the study program policy related to the implementation of Tamansiswa teaching and integration of Tamansiswa teaching especially Tri-N in the curriculum, Semester Lesson Plan, and the learning process. In addition, the Tri-N Tamansiswa teaching has also been applied by the lecturer in classroom teaching and learning so it accustoms college students to be teacher candidate who based on Tamansiswa teaching.

The aim of the research is to develop teaching materials of Indonesian education in beginning class of elementary school course based integrated science and social studies based Scientific Approach to optimize students competence in Elementary School Teacher Education Department. The specific objective of the first study to explain the validity of teaching materials of Indonesian education in beginning class of elementary school course based integrated science and social studies based Scientific Approach to optimize students competence in Elementary School Teacher Education Department. This study consists of two main steps: Firstly, to design teaching materials refers to the 4-D model of development; Secondly, to explain validity the teaching materials. Data collection techniques is questionaire. The research instrument consisted of Questionaire respon. Data from this study were analyzed by descriptive statistics, such as score of quesionaire Response students and lecturer. The results showed that the teaching materials of Indonesian education in beginning class of elementary school course based integrated science and social studies based Scientific Approach to optimize students competence in Elementary School Teacher Education Department was valid.

One of the learning models that can be implemented in increasing the students ability in English language is using Problem Based Learning (PBL). Problem Based Learning is a learning model that focuses on giving the solution for students in learning process. PBL provides the chance for students to find their problem and also creating the alternative solution to deal with their problems in English language learning. The aims of this study, by using PBL can increase the students’ ability in mastering English language. The participant of this study chosen from primary school teacher education department (PGSD) faculty of educational sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta. There several consideration in choosing the department as the object of this study. First, the student of this department lack of interest in joining the English subject, the learning process becomes ineffective. Second, as the future candidate of teacher for elementary school students, they need to concern with the ability of English language. Third, the average ability of students in mastering English is weak. The method used for this study based on qualitative/interpretive paradigm. This method concern on viewing the focus and problems of this study in a comprehensive way. The finding, based on the result of the study it can be shown that the students ability in English language increased as the researcher targeted from the beginning. And the learning process becomes more active after the use of Problem Based Learning. So, it can be concluded that the use of Problem Based Learning (PBL) can increase the students’ ability in mastering English Language.

This study aims were to describe: 1) pedagogical competencies mastery of student in Elementary School Teacher Education Department; 2) obstacles of pedagogical competencies faced by informant; 3) effort conducted by the informant to overcome the obstacles of pedagogical competencies. This is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, structured interviews and documentation. The results showed that 1) prospective teachers were able to master seven pedagogical of ten competencies, so the informant require to improve three other aspects, that are: curriculum development; implementation of educated learning; and effectively, empathically, and politely communication with students; 2) obstacles faced by informant are they haven’t mastered content material well; lack of creativity in media development; and they haven’t mastered classical management well; 3) efforts that required by the informant are by increasing knowledge about learning materials by finding references from various sources, increasing creativity in media development, and being able to be assertive and be able to reprimand students.

Elementary school teacher education Department, an education institute that produces teachers for Islamic Elementary School, is demanded to give competence to students about instuctional material that can be created by teachers, in order to make an appropriate instructional material when they be a teacher and take a part in society. The material is an appropriate material that is suitable for 2013 curriculum; it is a material that can produce Indonesian people be more producive, creative, and inovative through reinforcement of integrated attitude, skill, and knowledge. In order to have comprehensive understanding about development of instructional material and lesson plan based on competence, fulfill relevancy, adequacy and novelty, the students in Teaching English for Young Learners subject is supplied multimedia instructional material, so the students can notice frame of instructional material in English Instructional and its teaching learning process. Based on that problem, then instructional material based on interactive multimedia for English Subject Character Education based is developed. It uses macromediaflash program application. It is equiped with interesting animation, audio, video, and evaluation about development of instructional material and lesson plan. ABSTRACTThe purposes of this research are finding out the behaviour and creativity patterns of students in making “batik cap”. Subjects of this research were students of the Primary School Teacher Education Department at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta who took the Art and Skills Education course in the even semester of the Academic Year 2018/2019. The stages of the process analyzed include making batik designs, creating “batik cap” masters, “batik cap” artworks, and finishing the artworks. The research method is qualitative research. Data collection techniques are done by interview, observation, and document review. The data analysis technique used is narration. The results showed that 4P concept contains habitus as a system of practical production schemes, systems of perception, and appreciation practically related to aesthetics that allow for non-aesthetic responses within an object, differently defined in terms of philosophical logic. Students did the practices they had followed the procedure of creative thinking quite well. ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola perilaku dan kreativitas siswa dalam pembuatan “batik cap”. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar di Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta yang mengambil mata kuliah Pendidikan Seni dan Keterampilan pada Semester Genap Tahun Akademik 2018/2019. Tahapan proses yang dianalisis meliputi pembuatan desain, master "batik cap", karya seni "batik cap", dan menyelesaikan karya seni. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan tinjauan dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah narasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep 4P berisi habitus sebagai sistem skema produksi praktis, sistem persepsi, dan penghargaan yang secara praktis terkait dengan estetika yang memungkinkan respons non-estetika dalam suatu objek, berbeda didefinisikan dalam hal logika filosofis. Mahasiswa melakukan praktik cukup baik dengan mengikuti prosedur berpikir kreatif.
