Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang does not yet have a system and criteria for assessing the performance of non-P3K employees. Currently the staffing office at the University of Singaperbangsa Karawang does not yet have a way to determine how an employee is entitled to a Performance Allowance. Based on these facts, a website-based employee performance allowance information system will be created with a case study of the staff of the singaperbangsa karawang university. The system to be built includes the definition of criteria, data processing to become the best employee recommendation / promotion and determination of Employee Performance Allowances. The methodology used is software engineering and uses the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with the waterfall model because it is in accordance with the research that will be carried out with a relatively short stage of system usage. The calculation process is done by using the method of fuzzy multiple attribute decision making with weighted product because this method determines the weight value for each attribute, then proceed with a ranking process that will select the best alternative from a number of alternatives. The system created can provide information about the amount of employee performance benefits and recommendations for promotion for employees. After evaluating the user, this system gets a response that is easy to understand and easy to understand on each menu on the system. Looking at the benefits of this system is useful when it will provide performance allowances to employees and at the time will determine the employees who are reconditioned for promotions. The design of employee recommendation decision support systems using fuzzy multiple attribute decision making is done by completing the weighted product to produce alternatives after verification with the existing data getting 60% accuracy.

The challenge of selecting an appropriate wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) site is addressed in this study, using the case study of Bahir Dar City, Ethiopia. An innovative approach is proposed for selecting the WWTP site. Fifteen practically feasible alternatives were identified based on the geographical information system (GIS) based hydraulic design and considering the overall economy of the system. The three dimensions of sustainability were considered while evaluatingalternatives through incorporating economic, social, energy and environmental criteria in decision-making. The multiple attribute decision making (MADM) method was applied to prioritize the alternatives. Four scenarios representing the different perspectives of choices were used for weight elicitation. The results of the study show that the developed decisionmaking approach identified practically feasible alternatives. The framework and decision-making methodology developed in this study helped to facilitate the decision making by local government in a holistic view that incorporates environmental management in the city of Bahir Dar.

This article addresses reinsurance decision making process, which involves the insurance company and the reinsurance company, and is negotiated through reinsurance intermediaries. The article proposes a decision flow to model the reinsurance design and selection process. In contrast to existing literature on pure proportional reinsurance or stop-loss reinsurance, this article focuses on the combination into Proportional-Stop-loss reinsurance design which better addresses interest of both parties. In terms of methodology, the significant contribution of the study is to incorporate Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM) into modelling the reinsurance selection. The Multi-Objective Decision Making (MODM) model is applied in designing reinsurance alternatives. Then MADM is applied to aid insurance companies in choosing the most appropriate reinsurance contract. To illustrate the feasibility of incorporating intelligent decision supporting system in reinsurance market, the study includes a numerical case study using simulation software @Risk in modeling insurance claims, and programming in MATLAB to realize MADM. Managerial implications could be drawn from the case study results. More specifically, when choosing the most appropriate reinsurance, insurance companies should base their decision on multiple measurements instead of single-criteria decision making models for their decisions to be more robust.

Multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problem is one of the most common and popular research fields in the theory of decision science. A variety of methods have been proposed to deal with such problems. Nevertheless, many of them assumed that attribute weights are determined by different types of additional preference information which will result in subjective decision making. In order to solve such problems, in this paper, we propose a novel MADM approach based on cross-evaluation with uncertain parameters. Specifically, the proposed approach assumes that all attribute weights are uncertain. It can overcome the drawback in prior research that the alternatives’ ranking may be determined by a single attribute with an overestimated weight. In addition, the proposed method can also balance the mean and deviation of each alternative’s cross-evaluation score to guarantee the stability of evaluation. Then, this method is extended to a more generalized situation where the attribute values are also uncertain. Finally, we illustrate the applicability of the proposed method by revisiting two reported studies and by a case study on the selection of community service companies in the city of Hefei in China.

Abstract In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problems in which the attribute values take the form of hesitant trapezoid fuzzy information. Firstly, inspired by the idea of hesitant fuzzy sets and trapezoid fuzzy numbers, the definition of hesitant trapezoid fuzzy set and some operational laws of hesitant trapezoid fuzzy elements are proposed. Then some hesitant trapezoid fuzzy aggregation operators based on Hamacher operation are developed, such as the hesitant trapezoid fuzzy Hamacher weighted average (HTrFHWA) operator, the hesitant trapezoid fuzzy Hamacher weighted geometric (HTrFHWG) operator, the hesitant trapezoid fuzzy Hamacher Choquet average (HTrFHCA), the hesitant trapezoid fuzzy Hamacher Choquet geometric (HTrFHCG), etc. Furthermore, an approach based on the hesitant trapezoid fuzzy Hamacher weighted average (HTrFHWA) operator and the hesitant trapezoid fuzzy Hamacher weighted geometric (HTrFHWG) operator is proposed for MADM problems under hesitant trapezoid fuzzy environment. Finally, a numerical example for supplier selection is given to illustrate the application of the proposed approach.

In this paper, we develop a novel computation model of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Values with the usage of fuzzy negations and Archimedean copulas. This novel computation model’s structure is based on the extension of the existing operations of intuitionistic fuzzy values with some classes of fuzzy negations. Many properties of the proposed operations are investigated and proved. Additionally, in this paper we introduce the concepts of intuitionistic fuzzy Archimedean copula weighted arithmetic and geometric aggregation operators based on fuzzy negations, including a further analysis of their properties. Finally, using a case study from an already published paper we found that our method has many advantages.

While CPA (Certified Public Accountant) firms utilize cloud auditing technologies to generate auditing reports and convey information to their clients in the Internet of Things (IoT) Era, they often cannot determine whether cloud auditing is a secure and effective form of communication with clients. Strategies related to cloud auditing provider evaluation and improvement planning are inherently multiple attribute decision making (MADM) issues and are very important to the auditor industry. To overcome these problems, this paper proposes an evaluation and improvement planning model to be a reference for CPA firms selecting the best cloud auditing provider, and illustrates an application of such a model through an empirical case study. The DEMATEL (decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory) approach is first used to analyze the interactive influence relationship map (IIRM) between the criteria and dimensions of cloud auditing technology. DANP (DEMATEL-based ANP) is then employed to calculate the influential weights of the dimensions and criteria. Finally, the modified VIKOR method is utilized to provide improvement priorities for performance cloud auditing provider satisfaction. Based on expert interviews, the recommendations for improvement priorities are privacy, security, processing integrity, availability, and confidentiality. This approach is expected to support the auditor industry to systematically improve their cloud auditing provider selection.
